New every year, it seems that many things will change in some way.
For example, in terms of age, he is more mature than the previous year. Another example is the story of a man... and a woman.
When he woke up in the morning, Shiraishi felt his nose itchy, and the room felt a little colder.
He looked out of the window, and there was something light and thin falling in the outside world. It turned out that it was light snow.
Although I didn't really want to get up, I still endured the cold breath, turned on the heater in the room, and then returned to the warm bed.
Same as last night, Shiraishi's hands became irregular, passing through Ruri's armpit, caressing her.
Ruri, who was sleeping soundly, snorted unhappily, as if she didn't like being controlled by men, she curled up like a cat, protesting dissatisfaction.
Ruri probably hasn't slept enough yet, Shiraishi teased her for a while and then gave up.
I don't know why, as long as I hug the other person like this, my heart will suddenly quiet down.
Any anxiety and timidity that exists in the heart will fade away.
His chest was tightly pressed against Ruri's back, and his hands were tightly pressed on her chest and lower abdomen.
No matter what, you must not let the body of the woman who makes you feel warm in your arms cool down.
Shiraishi told himself this more than once in his heart, and then he and Ruri slept together again.
When I woke up again, it was already noon.
Shiraishi found that Ruri had left his embrace and was sitting beside the pillow.
"It's snowing."
"um, yes."
Outside there is the sound of wind and snow patting things.
Ruri was wearing the light blue kimono she wore for the festival last night, other than that, she had no other clothes on her body.
The kimono was not fastened by the straps, but it was casually draped over her body. Facing Shiraishi, she showed her snow-white complexion revealing a blush.
Feeling that the light in the room was a bit dark, Ruri walked to the balcony and opened the curtains there, so that the outside light could shine in.
In Ruri's field of vision, the thin white snow outside the window was blown by the wind and fell obliquely, like a white arrow, passing through and disappearing.
Outside is a silvery white world.
The trees and lanterns in the courtyard are also covered with snow.
The edges of the windows are covered with frozen dew, but there is a heater in the room, so that the cold outside is not felt inside.
Shiraishi stared blankly at all this. The north wind, snow white, the girl in thin clothes, all the pictures were so natural, dreamy to the point of suffocating.
constitutes the artist's brush, and may not be able to freeze the extremely beautiful scenery.
That is an extremely enchanting charm.
Shiraishi's heart was about to move, and he suddenly said: "Would you like to drink some wine?"
"It's cold."
"At first you will feel cold in mouth but after it will be very warm in your stomach."
When he came to this world, Shiraishi rarely drank alcohol.
Even if he drink alcohol, he stops after drinking sip.
But at this time, for some unknown reason, his mood to drink wine became stronger.
Ruri didn't answer, so Shiraishi assumed that she agreed.
Take out the long-preserved fine wine from the cabinet next to it, and take out the wine utensils.
As if trying to seduce Shiraishi, Ruri's clothes were never fastened with belts. Perhaps she herself has not realized how deadly she is to a man now.
The two clinked glasses and drank freely, feeling very happy.
The heater makes the temperature in the room moderate, adding a bit of warmth and harmony to the atmosphere.
There was some blush on Ruri's slightly drunk cheeks, and a flame-like light shone in her eyes, revealing a gentle look.
As Shiraishi said, I felt a little cold when I first drank it. After all, it has not been warmed, but after drinking it, the warmth is there.
After that, everything fell into place.
•••••
After the annual leave, everything is back to normal.
The ninjas who have been idle for the New Year start their new year's work one after another.
The end of January is the coldest time on the calendar.
The snow has never stopped.
Shiraishi walked into the snow-covered ninja school, today is the first day of class after this year's annual holiday.
Before I got to the office, I saw Shizune standing there in the corridor.
"Good afternoon, Shizune."
Shiraishi went over to say hello.
"snort."
Seeing Shiraishi greeted him, Shizune snorted softly, turned her face aside, as if she didn't want to talk to him.
Shiraishi smiled awkwardly. He knew why Shizune was so angry at him. On the night of the big festival, he completely forgot about her existence, causing her to wait until midnight before leaving.
It is normal for her to have a lot of resentment towards him .
"I'm really sorry about what happened last time, here, this is an apology."
Shiraishi sent the gift prepared in advance to Shizune. It was an exquisite gift box, which contained the gift Shiraishi wanted to give Shizune.
Shizune's face looked better now, and she accepted the apology without hesitation.
"If you do this again next time, I will really be angry, Senior Shiraishi."
After receiving the compensation, Shizune's tone was still full of dissatisfaction.
"Haha, I will pay attention."
Shiraishi scratched his head and smiled.
If there is a next time, it would be great.
If there is no next time, then there seems to be nothing wrong with not complying.
I am a genius.
"Is Tsunade-sensei in there?"
"She will be here in time."
"Where did she go?"
"Because at the end of last year, didn't the village discuss some cooperation with the Aster Flower Company of the Demon Country? The other party wanted to arrange for some students who are interested in medical ninjutsu to come to our ninja school in Konoha to learn medical ninjutsu."
"But, isn't that will happen in April?"
This matter has been approved by Tsunade, and there will naturally be no objections from Konoha's senior management.
After all, the Kingdom of Demons is a neutral country and does not participate in the Ninja World War. Moreover, the business relationship between the two parties is relatively harmonious. The medicines and medical supplies produced by Aster Flower Company have relieved the pressure of many Konoha Hospitals.
However, it was decided to let people from the demon country come to Konoha to learn medical ninjutsu in April.
"It's all about making preparations in advance. Anyway, there are many vacant classrooms in the school. Tsunade-sama went to someone to arrange it when she was free."
"It seems that Tsunade-sensei is taking it very seriously."
Shiraishi asked intentionally or unintentionally.
"Well, because Tsunade-sama said that the drug research data exchanged by Aster Flower with konoha was great benefit to Konoha, this is a normal return."
Shizune thought about it, and answered Shiraishi's question.
Not long after, just like what Shizune said, Tsunade came from the other side of the corridor.
"I came on time today too."
“After all, it’s the first day after the annual leave.”
"Well, is that so? Let me see."
Tsunade looked at Shiraishi's whole body with interest, as if she had discovered something interesting.
"What's wrong, Tsunade-sensei?"
She stared a little unnaturally at Shiraishi, so Shiraishi couldn't help but to ask.
"The smell of a woman."
Tsunade looked affirmative.
"..."
Dog nose? Shiraishi complained in his heart.
Because during the annual vacation, he and Ruri have been sticking together every day, even at noon today, it was so intense that they were like glue.
And the young men and women who let go, naturally do not have that mature concentration, and suddenly...
Cough cough.
"There is no need to say such a thing."
"It really is a young kid." Tsunade showed a teasing smile on his face, and pushed Shiraishi's body with his elbow: "How is it? When are you going to treat me to dinner?"
"This kind of thing is still a bit far away, because Ruri's parents are not at home."
"Really? That's a shame."
"Master Tsunade, Senior Shiraishi, what are you talking about? Why can't I understand at all?"
Shizune asked with a confused face.
"Shizune you will understand when the time comes."
"oh."
Shizune thought for a while and still didn't understand, she followed Tsunade into the office, still holding the apology gift Shiraishi gave her in her arms.
" Closer to home, the dispatch team from the Demon country will come to Konoha in about April. In order to maintain the friendship between the two countries, I have recommended you to Sarutobi-sensei as the full-time teacher of the second medical ninja experimental class. Do you have any requirements?"
Tsunade sat on the chair with a serious expression on his face.
"I am very grateful to Tsunade-sensei for trusting me. It will be good to arrange an assistant for me when the time comes."
"There is no problem with this, let Shizune help you when the time comes."
Both Shiraishi and Shizune have no comments.
"Speaking of which, you are really brave, last time you let Shizune sit alone at the barbecue stand until midnight..."
Tsunade thought of something at this moment, and smiled on her face.
"I have already bought expensive things as an apology, but last time things were a bit sudden..."
Shiraishi didn't dare to look at Tsunade, and the voice of explanation became smaller and smaller in the end.
"Forget it, anyway, you have realized your mistake, so I will forgive you generously this time. You don't need to go to today's class?"
"Huh? Are you going to fire me?"
Shiraishi was taken aback.
"It's not dismissal, it's just that you don't have to go to class today."
"what happened?"
Shiraishi didn't quite understand.
This is not a punishment at all, is it? It's a bit weird to say it's a reward.
"When I came here just now, I ran into a Minato on the road. He said he had something to talk about with you, and he was waiting for you at the school gate. You can go there."
"Minato?"
Shiraishi was even more surprised.
Namikaze Minato? What did he come to talk about to him?
Because of working with Tsunade, Shiraishi and the other three ninjas have met each other. Even though they are not familiar with each other, they still say hello, which is regarded as acquaintance.
As a student who enrolled at the same time as himself, and also a direct disciple of Jōnin Jiraiya, one of the Sannin, Shiraishi and Minato have a good relationship, and they can chat harmoniously when they meet each other occasionally.
It's just that these conversations are all irrelevant gossip, not about any profound insights.
"I don't know what he wants to do with you. You can go and have a look and you will know?"
"makes sense."
Shiraishi nodded.
Since this is the case, maybe I really can’t attend class with Tsunade today.
After bidding farewell to Tsunade and Shizune, Shiraishi walked towards the gate of the ninja school, where he saw Minato waiting for him.
Wearing Konoha's jonin ninja outfit, with yellow hair shining like the sun, and a hearty smile, he is the perfect man in the eyes of many women.
Compared with it, Shiraishi felt that he was ordinary.
Minato became a Jōnin almost at the same time as Ruri and Ayane, and with a 100% mission completion rate, it can be said that it is almost the best ninja of its generation.
Even many senior Jonin admired him and couldn't help but to feel jealous because of his outstanding talent.
Just standing there is like a natural leader who can unite people's hearts to the greatest extent.
While Shiraishi, who barely became a Chunin at the age of sixteen, is much inferior.
When people mention him, they just know that he has a talented ninja girlfriend.
Other than that, it seems that his medical ninjutsu is not bad?
Can you get along better in the ninja school?
It seems that there are only these performances to talk about.
It's really shabby.
Seeing Shiraishi approaching, Minato waved his hand first, and greeted with a smile.
Shiraishi also greeted him, walked over and said, "When Tsunade-sensei said you came to see me, I still didn't believe it, Minato."
"The main reason is that I have something important to discuss with you, otherwise I wouldn't come to you suddenly at this time."
Minato smiled apologetically.
"It's okay, the class is supported by Tsunade-sensei, and I'm just a helper at best. So, what is the important thing that you want to ask me, that you to find me at this time?"
"Let's find a place to talk."
Minato suggested.
Shiraishi nodded, expressing his agreement.
Minato took Shiraishi to the meatball shop not far from the school. Minato ordered some meatballs as a treat. Not long after eating, Minato got down to business: "I want to ask you about Kakashi Hatake."
"Kakashi? What happened to him?"
Shiraishi's face moved slightly.
Minato looked around to make sure that no one noticed this place, but he still lowered his voice very carefully and said: "I regret about the incident about jonin Sakumo more than a year ago. Maybe Jonin Sakumo did cause the village to lose something, but I didn't expect the villagers to be led by such rumors."
Shiraishi was silent.
"I said this not to prove anything. It's just that this matter is over after all, but the follow-up impact has not been eliminated. Hatake Kakashi is the biggest victim of the follow-up impact. Hokage-sama changed the team members for me not long ago. When the graduates graduate this year, apart from two graduates joining me, Hatake Kakashi will also be one of them."
"Minato, are you worried about something?"
Shiraishi asked.
Minato nodded seriously: "Maybe it was influenced by the Jonin Sakumo's suicide. After that, many people said that Kakashi Hatake has changed. Even I heard a lot of unfavorable rumors about him. I think, since he will soon become my subordinate, I have the responsibility to guide and protect him."
"So that's the case. I'm very grateful for your kindness. In fact, Ruri, Ayane and I have nothing to do with Kakashi. After Sakumo-sensei passed away, he closed his heart and didn't allow anyone to enter. If he continues to go his own way, I'm really worried about his future."
Shiraishi sighed on his face.
"Yes, so I want to ask you about Kakashi's specific situation, so that I can find the best way."
" Kakashi has been a very assertive person since he was a child. I don't know if the information I know is useful to you. If it can help you, Minato, that would be great."
"Thanks."
Minato thanked him sincerely.
"No need to do this, this is my job."
Shiraishi responded with a smile.
About half an hour later, Minato got information about Kakashi from Shiraishi, and then talked about some other trivial matters, then paid the bill and left here.
Shiraishi sat on his seat, eating meatballs while watching Minato leave.
As I guessed, the Third Hokage really couldn't let go of a ninja with outstanding talent like Kakashi.
Namikaze Minato...What a fun guy.
Although I know Minato, but I don’t have a deep relationship with him. I just heard from others that Minato is a jounin with very strong telekinesis and physical skills.
As for ninjutsu, I haven't heard any rumors.
It may also be because of secrecy.
After all, many of Jonin's abilities are secret.
Generally speaking, jounin would not tell others about their ace cards at will, even if they are ninjas from the same village.
However... if it's just the teleportion technique, it shouldn't be difficult to deal with it with the ability of myself and the shadow dancer.
•••
The Land of Winds, Hidden Sand Village.
A grand festival was held in Konoha, far away in the land of fire, and at the same time, a grand festival was held in Hidden Sand Village.
As the annual holidays go away, the sand hidden ninjas are also continuing to resume work, standing at their posts to work.
Standing on the top of the roof of the Kazekage Building, Third Kazekage once again looked at the panoramic view of the village, deeply moved in his heart.
Compared to the Second Ninja World War, Sand Hidden Village now has many more important buildings and facilities, and there are more and more new-generation ninjas, and through their unremitting efforts, they have cultivated many talented ninjas.
Rasa who can use gold muntiplation ninjutsu.
Pakura who has the kekkei-genkai,Scorch Style.
And Sasori the red sand who is already a first-class puppet master in Hidden Sand Village despite his young age.
There are countless young and outstanding ninjas springing up like mushrooms after rain.
Chiyo and Ebizō, the two advisors, were ninjas in the early construction of Sand Village, and they were Kazekage's most capable assistants.
Elder Chiyo's sophisticated puppet technology has cultivated many ninjas who manipulate puppets for Hidden Sand Village, forming a puppet army that is now feared by all countries.
Ebizo is in charge of the intelligence work of Hidden Sand Village. The spies he trained lurk in the ninja villages of the five major countries. In many ninja villages, he has his eyes and ears.
Although there are occasional quarrels with this Kazekage, he always supports him when it comes to big things, and he does his best for the strength of Hidden Sand Village.
For example, the next plan to attack the Nation of Fire triggered by their hidden sand was to discuss with their two advisors before completing this series of plans.
Thinking of this, the third Kazekage suddenly felt passionate.
It is now the end of January, and in February they will launch an attack on Konoha in the Nation of Fire, and they will invade the border of the Nation of Fire with lightning speed.
The war came, but only a few days later.
The time for Sand Village to rise is coming.
"Kazekage-sama."
Hidden Sand Anbu ninja appeared behind, knelt down on one knee, and paid the highest respect to the Third Kazekage.
This is Kazekage, the unique and wise leader who led their Sand Village to the road of prosperity and strength.
"Is there a problem?"
Third Kazekage turned his head slightly.
"Sasori has something to report to you."
"That kid, I remember that he was on a mission at the border. Is there anything new happening at the border?"
Third Kazekage muttered to himself, then returned to the building, followed closely by Anbu Ninja.
•••
the next day.
"The third Kazekage is missing!?"
In the conference room with a huge round table, Chiyo, the senior advisor of Hidden Sand Village, yelled.
The high-level jonin responsible for communicating with the Third Kazekage, after losing contact with their Kazekage-sama, immediately held this meeting urgently.
You know, the war against Konoha is imminent, and then, their leader Kazekage-sama disappeared! ?
This kind of ridiculous thing really happened in their hidden sand village.
If they didn’t know that Third Kazekage was usually a serious person, they would have thought it was a joke played by their Kazekage.
The senior jounin replied calmly: "That's true. Many jounin didn't see Kazekage-sama in the office in the morning. Before the meeting, I secretly sent someone to look for Kazekage-sama, but nothing was found. Kazekage-sama... really disappeared from the village."
It is very heavy and confusing news.
That was the kage of a village, one of the strongest five kage at that time.
And mastered the extremely terrifying sand and iron secret technique, even a monster like Shukaku can be suppressed, how could it be possible that he disappeared from the village without any news?
In the ninja world, is there such a terrifying ninja who can do this?
After all, they crossed the defense line of Hidden Sand Village without a sound, fought Kazekage, ended the battle without making a sound, and finally withdrew from Hidden Sand Village without a sound... It is impossible to imagine that there are such powerful assassin ninjas in the ninja world.
"Elder Chiyo, Elder Ebizo, what should we do now? Should we continue to implement the plan to attack Konoha?"
Another senior executive said hesitantly.
Chiyo's face was cloudy and uncertain, and she remained silent, as if she was thinking.
Ebizo took a look at his sister Chiyo's face, and then said: "The plan will continue, but this matter must be kept secret. In addition, half of Anbu will be dispatched to track down the traces of the third Kazekage. We must find the third Kazekage ."
"yes!"
All the high-ranking ninjas responded in a deep voice.
But there are also some high-level ninjas with fiery eyes.
The third Kazekage is missing. If the merits gained in this war, the fourth Kazekage position, wouldn't it be easy to get?
Ebizo, who saw through all the thoughts of these high-level ninjas, after giving that order, he also fell silent like his sister Chiyo, and watched these high-level ninjas leave.
"Sorry, sister, I seem to have made my own decision."
Ebizō apologized.
Using external conflicts to divert internal conflicts was the decisive decision made by advisor Ebizo after Kazekage disappeared.
And this external contradiction is naturally Konoha Ninja Village.
Only in this way can internal friction in the village be avoided.
Chiyo shook her head. She understood what her younger brother Ebizo was thinking, and sighed: "Forget it, no matter what, the plan to attack Konoha cannot be changed. Even if the third Kazekage is missing. Rather than letting them kill each other here for the position of Kazekage, it is better to concentrate their power on the war. As for the fourth Kazekage's position, let them decide based on the number of Konoha ninja deaths."
It would be great if the third Kazekage had planned his successor.
However, none of them expected that the third Kazekage, who was in his prime, would mysteriously disappear from the village.
Although there is still a little luck in their hearts, they also know that the third Kazekage, who has been missing for so long without any reason and can't return any information, is now in dire straits.
