Uchiha clan land.
Fugaku, who took over the power from the Elder Tenjin, has become the new leader of the Uchiha clan.
Although some members of the radical faction complained about this and wanted to elect other Clansmen to be the patriarch, since this was an order issued by the Elder Tenjin, they had to obey the will of the Elder Tenjin and obey Fugaku's management.
After becoming the patriarch, Fugaku realized that the position of the patriarch was not easy.
But becoming the patriarch of Uchiha is his dream.
I thought that I would have a fierce battle with Ruri, but I didn't expect that the other party would defect with a part of the Clan, and immediately lost the trust and support of the Elder Tenjin, and instead let the Elder Tenjin devote his energy and effort on him.
This can be regarded as an unexpected gain.
Although Ruri's defection made Uchiha's situation in Konoha even more embarrassing.
At the top, Uchiha gradually became untrustworthy.
The two advisors and root leader Danzo publicly criticized the inappropriateness of the Uchiha clan more than once at the Jōnin Conference. The only person who speaks for the Uchiha is the third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen.
Even if Fugaku wants to refute some people's remarks, the crime of Ruri's defection to Konoha and harming his companions is true. Every time a Jonin meeting is held, there will be a large wave of strange eyes focused on Uchiha's discussion issues, which makes Fugaku feel very shameless.
He can't help but feel disgusted with Ruri's bad behavior of defecting from the village, which is tantamount to discrediting the Clan.
Even in the clan, no one spoke for Ruri.
At the clan meeting, not only the Elder Tenjin were injured, but also the village that they Uchiha and the Senju clan jointly established was destroyed. For the Uchiha clan who wanted to seize the Hokage position, Ruri's defection disrupted all their deployments and made their past efforts all in vain.
In this context, the members of the clan who followed Ruri away from the clan were naturally nailed to the pillar of shame by them.
If it wasn't a time of war, they would have sent people to chase down these Uchiha traitors.
"Fugaku, how does it feel to be the patriarch for the first time? Is there a satisfying sense of accomplishment?"
Elder Tenjin's confidant Uchiha Kenji found Fugaku who was at home and started teasing him.
"Where is there any sense of accomplishment, it's just the heavy mission of how to make the clan prosperous."
Fugaku smiled wryly.
In the beginning, he was indeed immersed in the joy of becoming the patriarch, but the various busy affairs that followed almost made him tired.
In addition to the need to deal with high-level contacts, many things seem jerky.
Especially Danzo, who is seriously dissatisfied with Uchiha's affairs, must be held accountable for Uchiha's dereliction of duty, and must be monitored by Anbu.
If the Third Hokage hadn't blocked Danzo's voice, it wouldn't have been so easy this time.
This made Fugaku very grateful for the care of the third Hokage.
Although he knew that the third Hokage did this because he valued the strength of the Uchiha clan, and wanted to draw the Uchiha clan into the village. At this time, he sent charcoal in the snow and tried his best to maintain the balance of the village, but because of this, Fugaku felt at ease.
If you help Uchiha for no reason, Fugaku will be afraid of Hokage, and will it be detrimental to Uchiha.
"Don't be so pessimistic. Even if the rest of the top management is not good for Uchiha, as long as you keep in touch with Hokage, there won't be any major problems."
"oh?"
"This is also the meaning of the elder Tenjin. It is a long-term task to have Hokage born in the Uchiha clan. It will always be beneficial to have a good relationship with the current Hokage."
Kenji said so.
This is also the only way for Uchiha to survive in Konoha.
Because at that time, whether Uchiha voluntarily gave up Hokage or was given up by Hokage, the Uchiha in Konoha will usher in perdition.
Can only survive by the breath of Hokage.
"I understand what Elder Tenjin means."
Fugaku nodded solemnly.
"It's best that you understand that."
"How is Elder Tenjin's body?"
Fugaku asked.
Ever since Ruri defected, he heard that Elder Tenjin's health has been getting worse, probably due to depression.
"Don't worry, the elder's health is very good, and now that he is retired, he has enough time to recuperate his body. Don't worry about things over there. By the way, when do you plan to go to the front line?"
Kenji asked.
"The affairs in the clan have almost calmed down now, and there is the third Hokage at the top to help to suppress it. I plan to lead the clan to go to the frontline battlefield to support in the morning after tomorrow."
Fugaku thought for a while and said.
"Although such words are redundant, you still have to protect yourself. The frontline battlefield is no better than the village. Even if you have Sharingan, you may die at any time."
"I understand, I will pay attention. Elder Tenjin, is there anything else I need to do?"
"No, you are now the patriarch of Uchiha, just do what you want."
Kenji shook his head, indicating that Elder Tenjin didn't have any request.
"Please thank the elder for his trust on my behalf."
Fugaku was slightly moved.
Elder Tenjin did this, obviously intending to delegate power, so that he can truly become the patriarch of the Uchiha clan, instead of manipulating him behind the scenes, treating him as a puppet patriarch who controls the Uchiha clan.
Fugaku was very grateful for this trust.
After all, Elder Tenjin’s authority in Uchiha is unmatched by another person. If he insists on controlling it behind the scenes, Fugaku can’t resist the control of the other party.
Seeing Fugaku's moved look, Kenji knew that he must think that the elder Tenjin's delegation of power to him was an incomparable trust in his ability.
That old guy is just too lazy to care about things like Konoha. Kenji complained in his heart.
In the future, even if the Uchiha here in Konoha fails, the fire can still be preserved and the incense of Uchiha will be passed on.
However, Fugaku's erroneous belief is actually a good thing.
After all, the truth was too cruel for him.
Passing the position of patriarch to him was not because of trust in his ability, it was just that there was really no way for a short man to pull out a general.
Of course, Fugaku has a chance of success.
That is to lead the Uchiha clan, to live in the eyes of the high-level people, to give up the glory and dignity of the clan, maybe one day the high-level people can get rid of it, and the Uchiha clan can take advantage of the momentum.
However, based on Kenji's judgment, not to mention whether Fugaku will take this path, the clansmen would rather fight to the death with the higher-ups than live in idling.
"Then I'm leaving, and all the affairs of the clan will be handed over to you."
The main reason for coming here from Kenji is to hand over the work well.
After all, he just became the patriarch not long ago, and Fugaku's qualifications and ability to do things are very shallow. In addition, many information channels are in the hands of the Elder Tenjin. Kenji needs to transfer these channels to Fugaku.
Of course, there are also some information channels that cannot be forwarded. For example, the line to the Kingdom of Demons has been cut off by him and buried in the dust.
The Uchiha of Konoha and the Uchiha of the Demon Country will no longer have secret communication channels, completely split.
Watching Kenji leave, Fugaku also breathed a sigh of relief.
When Kenji came, he thought it was Elder Tenjin who wanted to convey some order.
Fortunately, I just came here to hand over some affairs.
In this way, the Uchiha clan will completely usher in a new era led by Uchiha Fugaku.
Fugaku looked at the clear blue sky from a distance in the corridor, full of pride in his heart, full of confidence in his own ability, he wanted to let the Uchiha clan in his hands, bloom unprecedented brilliance, and stand at the highest point of Konoha Village.

In the practice field.
"Hoo... Phoo... Minato-sensei is so strong..."
Rin panted, with a lot of color on her body, looking at Minato who was unharmed in the field, sighing how powerful the Jonin is.
Obito was also not much better, looking at Minato with a look of unwillingness on his face.
Obviously I have worked very hard, but in the end, I was still played around in the hands of Minato, and looking at Kakashi again, the unwillingness in my heart became even stronger.
The reason is that only Kakashi successfully snatched the bell from Minato and passed the actual combat assessment of Minato.
Whether it was during school or after becoming a ninja, the distance between himself and Kakashi has never been shortened. On the contrary, as time goes by, the gap is getting bigger and bigger.
Kakashi held the White Fang short blade in his hand. There was a light blue shimmer attached to the short blade, and there was a fine current winding around the blade.
Kakashi was still dissatisfied looking at the lightning on White Fang's Sword. His own chakra control was still not enough, and even let the thunder attribute chakra leak out from the blade.
As for the bell held in the other hand, it was snatched from Minato, but it doesn't prove anything.
He knew that Minato had already let the water go badly during the battle just now.
As the other party said, this is just an exercise to understand their strength, not an actual battle of life and death.
I still have a long way to go before becoming Jonin.
But I also understand that Minato's strength is not comparable to that of an ordinary ninja, especially Taijutsu and body flicker Jutsu.
The oppressive feeling brought about by this gap reminded him of the helplessness he felt helpless with the shadow dancer when he was practicing against Shiraishi in the past.
No matter where the attack came from, they were seen through. Even the bell was snatched because of Minato releasing water.( Acting )
"Okay, the exercise is over. I have a general understanding of the strength of the three of you. Generally speaking, you all have great potential. Today is the first day we know each other. Let's find a place to have dinner together later. The teacher will treat you."
Minato walked over and said with a smile.
"Really? Minato-sensei?"
Obito asked in surprise.
"Of course, you can tell the teacher what you want to eat."
Minato nodded and smiled.
Kakashi shrugged indifferently, disappeared the lightning attribute chakra on the White Fang Sword, and put it into the scabbard on the back.
Minato breathed a sigh of relief when he saw this. He thought Kakashi would coldly reject him. It seems that the problem is not serious enough to close himself. Basically, he can listen to the suggestions of his companions to some extent.
Of course, listening to it and whether it will cooperate are another matter.
At least in the exercise just now, Kakashi was fighting alone, while Obito and Rin were fighting together.
After having dinner together, Minato left for the time being, walked to the Hokage building, reported on the work content, and explained to Hokage the measures he would implement in Team Minato.
"Kakashi, I will definitely surpass you!"
Seeing Kakashi's powerful skills and his amazing sword skills, Obito is full of fighting spirit and moves forward with Kakashi as his goal.
"Then you should work hard. I'll go back first."
Kakashi glanced at Obito with a serious expression, turned and left.
After bidding farewell to Obito and Rin, Kakashi returned home alone. Today's main task is to get to know the new Jonin who will lead the team. After getting to know him, it's time for training.
Just when Kakashi was about to practice in the yard, a head appeared on the floor of the living room, followed by a half body made of mud.
Shiraishi's clone of soil—General Earth.
"Come here at this time, what's the matter?"
Kakashi asked not unexpectedly.
General Earth put a scroll in Kakashi's hand, then lurked underground and disappeared.
After the general left, Kakashi untied the scroll and read the contents above.
After reading it, Kakashi frowned.
The information recorded here is very simple. His new teammate Uchiha Obito has been targeted by a mysterious force.
Even if you are in Team Minato yourself, you have to be careful, and you need to be cautious when encountering things.
"That idiot, is there any good in keeping an eye on that guy?"
Kakashi was a little surprised. Although he didn't think there was anything coveted about that idiot, but something had happened, and he really needed to pay attention to it.
Kakashi burned the scroll with fire without leaving a trace, and then went to the yard to practice swordsmanship.
•••
After passing the information to Kakashi, General Earth began to follow one of the targets and advance together.
The other party was in the soil layer and moved for a long time before he had the intention to stop. This is no longer the boundary of the Kingdom of Fire.
General Earth realized that the enemy's stronghold was likely ahead.
According to the existing information, there is a Sharingan ninja with powerful pupil skills in the opposing camp, so you can't be careless.
Genjutsu is too troublesome, and it is not suitable for fighting this type of enemy.
Therefore, General Earth feels that he must move forward with caution.
General Earth let out the clone of water residing in his body.
Then take out a slip of paper and write on it.
—After five minutes, I will blow up the enemy's stronghold on time, and after five seconds of the time, you will immediately call me back with reverse Summoning art.
Facing the powerful illusion, General Earth was obviously very afraid.
Therefore, it requires the water snake to summon him back five seconds after he explodes, so as to avoid fighting the enemy head-on.
The water snake formed by the converging water stream nodded, then got into the grass and disappeared.
General Earth began to dive into the ground, carefully exploring forward.

"Lord Madara, I found a good target, the other party must meet your selection criteria."
In the dimly lit cave, White Zetsu returned with good news.
The old man sitting on the wooden chair—Uchiha Madara opened his eyes immediately, and the scarlet eyes exuded a strange color, aiming at White Zetsu.
White Zetsu didn't feel scared at all, just grinning heartlessly at Madara.
"Lord Madara, this is the information about that guy. I have almost collected all the information. I can guarantee that he must be the perfect candidate."
White Zetsu couldn't wait to tell Madara all kinds of information about Obito.
The other party's personality, future ideals, daily life style, including the person he likes, and the maximum number of times he helped the grandmother cross the road in a day are all clearly recorded.
"It's unbelievable to say that that guy sometimes helped more than 20 old grandmas in just one day. The probability of him encountering grandmas even surprised me. This special physique that attracts grandmas is even stranger than us."
White Zetsu said with a smile like this.
Madara didn't mind White Zetsu's funny and exaggerated tone. Apart from the ability to sneak, Madara would not believe that such a creature had a brain.
White Zetsu's words are often without brain thinking.
Madara knew this very well.
Madara listened carefully to White Zetsu's narration, and immediately conceived the image of Obito in his mind.
Possesses strong love and kindness, has a dull mind, has goals that he likes and cherishes, and is a ninja of the Uchiha clan.
This is indeed the most suitable candidate.
"Uchiha Obito?"
"That's right. Madara-sama, should we bring him here now?"
White Zetsu asked.
"No, not for the time being. How to arrange his future life is very troublesome."
Madara said calmly.
"Really? Let's put it aside for now. However, I also have some doubts about whether this kid can do it. After all, he is not a genius of the Uchiha clan."
White Zetsu was talking about Sharingan.
"The age of opening eyes is not directly related to talent. Everyone's life experience is different. Uchiha ninjas, if they want to gain power, they must sink into the darkness. Seeing the cherished people destroyed in front of their eyes is the beginning of degeneration. Then let him see the darkness and misery in the ninja world, and stimulate him with stronger darkness... This is his life as a puppet."
The darker it is, the more it can stimulate the growth of Sharingan.
Especially Uchiha, who is kind-hearted by nature, how full of kindness and love he once was, and how thoroughly he fell into darkness.
That kind of intense darkness will promote the evolution of Sharingan.
"That's really looking forward to."
White Zetsu giggled.
He can't understand the grievances of human beings. Whether it's laughter or sadness, he doesn't have that kind of experience.
Madara's order is their will.
No need to think, just follow orders.
"By the way, there is one more thing that is a little strange."
White Zetsu remembered something and said.
"What's weird?"
"That is, this time we went to Konoha to investigate and encountered no obstacles, and the rest of the White Zetsu had no problems. Before that, a major event happened to Konoha."
"Big deal?"
"Uchiha and some of Hyuga's clansmen jointly defected to Konoha."
White Zetsu said.
"Defected?"
Madara raised his head, revealing an old wrinkled face, and a trace of doubt in his eyes.
"Yes, although I don't know what happened, but after this, we will be able to lurk under Konoha unimpeded."
The meaning of White Zetsu is very clear. The reason for the inexplicable disappearance of White Zetsu who went to Konoha in the past may be related to the defected Uchiha and Hyuga Ninja.
"Who caused it?"
"Konoha Chunin named Chiba Shiraishi, before that, the other party was an ordinary medical ninja from Konoha. He has a Uchiha girlfriend, Uchiha Ruri, and it seems that the two of them jointly initiated the defection."
White Zetsu answered.
"What about more details?"
"No, that's all I can hear. I heard the news from some Uchiha ninjas when I was monitoring Uchiha. I guess Konoha's high-level officials issued a gag order to the people below."
White Zetsu helplessly spread his hands.
"Look for the whereabouts of these people, I need to know their situation."
Madara gave this order without hesitation.
Regardless of whether any of the people who defected to Konoha had fought against White Zetsu who he sent in the past, the Uchiha who left Konoha alone is worth exploring the secrets.
Because this incident was completely beyond his expectations, and he hadn't prepared at all in advance.
"Lord Madara, leave this matter to us."
White Zetsu smiled and agreed.
After all, intelligence exploration is their job for nothing.
"Okay, you can go down now, I need to rest now-"
Boom!
The ground burst suddenly, and a strong detonation fire erupted.
The chair Madara was sitting on was surrounded by a large number of thick trees, protecting himself airtight, and rolled into the darkness, and he could still hear the painful panting sound coming from the darkness.
"Lord Madara!"
White Zetsu called Madara's name loudly.
He also felt uncomfortable. Although the power of the bomb was emitted from the ground through the hard soil layer, the power of the explosion was not fully exerted, but the huge shock force still made him feel the pain of displacing his internal organs.
And Madara's vitality is extremely weak at the moment, White Zetsu is very worried that Madara will die suddenly in the surprise explosion.
"Cough cough...cough cough..."
Madara sat crookedly on the chair, spit out blood from his mouth, his fingers and body trembled, and his breathing became short of breath. The flame of life seemed to be flickering in the turbulent wind, getting weaker and weaker.
It took him a while to recover, and his scarlet sharingan eyes coldly swept towards the explosion site.
A not very big pothole appeared there, but no enemy was seen.
"I'm fine, the power of the sacred tree can still provide me with vitality."
White Zetsu calmed down temporarily with Madara's words, but the weakness in his tone was hard to hide.
Most importantly, he found that there were bloodstains on the wooden chair Madara was sitting on, obviously seriously injured, and he survived only with the help of the power supply of the 'God Tree'.
"Lord Madara, what shall we do now?"
White Zetsu was a little at a loss. Now Madara's strength is extremely weak, and he definitely cannot participate in the battle.
As soon as he finished speaking, another White Zetsu suddenly ran out of nowhere.
But unlike ordinary White Zetsu, his face is swirly.
"Madara-sama, what happened here? Why did it suddenly become so noisy, was there an earthquake? I was just thinking about how to **** upside down. Madara-sama, do you know how to **** upside down?"
"Tobi, stop making trouble, there are enemies coming here, go and get rid of them!"
Madara gave the order coldly.
Actually made him Uchiha Madara suffer such a big loss, it seems that he is not an easy enemy.
"An enemy?"
It seemed that he had just reacted. White Zetsu, named Tobi, also realized the seriousness of the matter. He usually had a calm face, and his tone was already cold and murderous.
Tobi's body immediately merged into the soil layer, lost his figure, and went looking for the enemy in Madara's mouth.
"Call the rest of White Zetsu, we have to get out of here."
Madara gave another order to White Zetsu who stayed behind.
Since the stronghold has been discovered, it means that this place is no longer safe.
The base must be transferred immediately.
Thinking of this, the corners of Madara's mouth could not help but feel bitter. What a lingering life.
How majestic he Uchiha Madara was back then, and now he wants to avoid enemies of this level.
If that man knew about it, he would definitely make fun of it.(That man here means hashirama)
This downcast attitude is really embarrassing.
