Escape from konoha 123
🕑 Added 2023-10-09 04:04:05 +0000 UTCChapter 123 Shiraishi and Slug
The slug looked down at the human being the size of a pebble on the side of the road. In its eyes, Shiraishi's body was indeed only the size of a pebble on the side of the road.
"Human ninja, who are you? I sensed that there was an abnormality in the Summoning scroll that was placed outside before. I remember that it was the contract sealing technique of the Uzumaki clan."
Slug's voice is a soft female voice, with a very peaceful tone, giving people a feeling of spring breeze.
"Excuse me, are you the slug Sage of Shikkotsu Forest?"
Shiraishi raised his head and asked respectfully.
"You can just call me Katsuyu, that's my name. Also, I'm not a Sage, just a slug that knows Sage Art."
The giant slug called Katsuyu still has a gentle and kind voice, and its words are also very modest and restrained.
Even if the opponent is a weak human being, she will give the opponent the greatest respect.
Shiraishi breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that he used the heart of a villain to judge her before. The slug Sage was harmless to him. It seemed that she didn't care about the contract he got by cheating.
"Then I'll just call you by your name, Katsuyu."
"Okay, feel free. So, can you introduce yourself?"
"I am Chiba Shiraishi, and I was a Konoha Ninja before."
"Before? That is to say, now you are a rebellion?"
Katsuyu asked curiously.
"Although I don't think so myself, according to the current rules of the Five Great Ninja Villages, I am indeed a defected ninja from Konoha Ninja Village."
Shiraishi replied like this.
Seems to see Shiraishi's concerns, and Katsuyu just said softly: "Don't worry, human rules can't apply to me. Although I signed a contract with Konoha's Tsunade-sama, it doesn't mean that I belong to Konoha's Summoning beast. Having said that, I am very curious about Shiraishi-sama's reason for defecting to Konoha. Of course, it doesn't matter if you don't answer, I just want to know the situation."
Shiraishi has already seen that this Katsuyu is a Summoning beast with a completely neutral attitude towards humans.
Thinking that the other party has survived for a thousand years, it is estimated that everything has been taken care of.
I have passed the age of being competitive, and I am not interested in power.
Among human beings, only the contractor can influence its position, but such a thing as position is a very ambiguous term.
If no one in Konoha makes a contract with her, then the matter of Konoha has nothing to do with her.
She only cares about the position and attitude of the contractor.
"It's not something difficult to say. Konoha's ideas don't suit me, so I left there. I plan to do some interesting things in the ninja world, but I was always at a loss in Konoha. That is why I left Konoha."
Shiraishi answered Katsuyu's question according to his own will.
I learned from the words of Katsuyu just now that She has already affirmed that the contract between himself and her is valid.
""If we have different ideas and part ways, there is really nothing we can do about it."
Katsuyu did not know what happened in the past, and she agreed with Shiraishi's words very much.
People with different ideas have very different paths and ways of thinking. If they are forced together, conflicts will erupt.
This kind of thing has already been seen countless times, and this problem has also appeared among many of its past contractors.
Human beings are always troubled by various things.
Love, family, money, power, religion, war, etc.
"Although I don't mind Shiraishi-Sama making a contract with me in that way, it's only this time."
Katsuyu knows what Shiraishi did on the contract scroll she left in the ninja world in the past. Fortunately, the contractor whose name was erased has passed away hundreds of years ago, and there is no breach of the contract.
By using the contract sealing technique of the Uzumaki clan, Shiraishi forcibly canceled the Summoning contract between the contractor and her, and then filled in a new name. Such an unexpected contract situation has never occurred before. Katsuyu intends to abide by this agreement, but only this time.
Next time Shiraishi intends to do the same thing, tampering with the content indiscriminately on the contract scroll that has been almost discarded, She will regard that contract as invalid.
"I see. I was just planning to give it a try, but I didn't expect it to succeed."
Shiraishi nodded, expressing that he would not change the contents of the contract scroll indiscriminately.
"This is a new contract scroll, Lord Shiraishi, take it. Please remember to bring the discarded contract scroll when you come next time. Even if it is a full contract scroll, it seems that there are risks."
Hearing what Katsuyu said, Shiraishi stood there and scratched his head in embarrassment.
At this time, a huge Summoning scroll appeared, wriggling from under the chassis of Katsuyu, rolling to Shiraishi and stopping.
Shiraishi opened it and found that it was a brand new blank contract scroll, so he re-wrote his name on it with blood and pressed his blood fingerprint.
After re-signing the contract, Shiraishi intends to ask the slug something, because the existence of the millennium can be said to be a living history book.
This is of great significance to the educational development of the Demon country.
If possible, Shiraishi would like to hire Katsuyu to be a history teacher in the ninja school he established.
"Katsuyu, I want to know..."
Shiraishi was about to speak, when suddenly a figure flew out of the white mist behind him, and punched him directly on the back.
Before the fist reached Shiraishi's back, that person couldn't move a step.
Because a rope-like shadow entangled her body, countless shadow blades spread out and stuck to her heart, neck, back of the head and other deadly parts, revealing a trace of cold breath.
If all the stabs are stabbed down, it can instantly turn a person into a hedgehog.
"Tsunade-sensei, you don't have to greet me so warmly when you come up, right?"
Shiraishi called out the name of the female ninja who attacked him from behind, turned around, and saw that Tsunade was restrained by the shadow of the shadow dancer, and smiled slightly.
"You bastard brat!"
Seeing Shiraishi, Tsunade felt as much anger as a mountain torrent to vent out, and a terrible chakra erupted from her whole body, and the shadow wrapped around her body had a crack and shattered with a bang.
"Tsunade-sama, please stop your irrational fighting behavior!"
Katsuyu sounds work.
Tsunade's fist reached and stopped in front of Shiraishi, without hitting Shiraishi's face.
The Chakra that Shiraishi secretly mobilized also retreated. He knew how terrifying Tsunade's fist strength is, and taking a punch is definitely not a joke.
"Katsuyu, what is going on? Why does this guy appear here?"
Tsunade pointed at Shiraishi bluntly, and asked Katsuyu loudly.
"Tsunade-sama, please calm down a bit. Because Shiraishi-Sama is now my contractor just like you."
Katsuyu explained.
Shiraishi smiled and shrugged. If the three ninjas were not all present, he would not be too worried about Tsunade alone.
Even if the Sannin gather together, he can summon the rest of the clones to fight, not to mention, this is the Shikkotsu Forest, and the other two Sannin can't get here at all. Even if they could come, the war would leave them with little to do.
"What?"
Tsunade was suddenly surprised, she didn't expect Shiraishi to sign a Summoning contract with Katsuyu.
She didn't ask why Katsuyu signed the contract with Shiraishi, because it was Katsuyu's own choice, and even she couldn't interfere.
The hatred and conflicts between human beings are insignificant as dust in her eyes, and they are not worth paying attention to.
If Shiraishi hadn't signed the contract, Katsuyu would naturally stand by her side, assisting her in fighting and dealing with Shiraishi, which may not be the case now.
It really gave me a big problem. Tsunade smiled bitterly.
Katsuyu treats every contractor equally, and will not decide whose side to stand on because of the length of time they get along with each other.
After all, she has lived for thousands of years, even the contract between Tsunade and it is just a passing existence.
Even if Shiraishi is now a rebel ninja of Konoha, this matter itself has nothing to do with Katsuyu, and she will not express discrimination or dissatisfaction with such contractors like rebel ninjas.
As long as the contract is established, no matter who that person is, Katsuyu will fight for him.
Respecting the relationship with any contractor is the rule of dealing with things for thousands of years.
This is also the reason why Tsunade trusts Katsuya.
But also because of this relationship of trust, Tsunade herself felt embarrassed in this special situation.
"Although I used some trickery to obtain the contract with the Katsuyu, in this way, we can be regarded as the same contractor, Tsunade-sensei
Shiraishi still uses the title of 'teacher' to respect Tsunade. (Sensei means teacher)
From Tsunade, he learned a lot of advanced knowledge of medical ninjutsu, which helped him a lot.
"I can't afford the title of 'teacher' from your mouth, what is your intention to destroy the village and kill your colleagues?"
Tsunade stared at Shiraishi vigilantly and angrily. If it wasn't for Katsuyu, she really wanted to rush up and teach this ignorant brat a lesson.
"That, it was just a matter of no choice, because there were too many things to consider at that time. Moreover, I don't feel that I owe Konoha anything. After all, Danzo's roots once wanted to kill me, and your teacher The Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, sat idly by and forgave Danzo instead. This is truly a comradeship."
Shiraishi responded with a smile, but in Tsunade's ears, it sounded like a hidden sarcasm.
Although Shiraishi's tone was just a plain narration, it was even more ironic because of this.
"Is this why you defected to the village?"
Tsunade took a deep breath.
Regarding Danzo's incident, it was indeed Konoha and her teacher's fault. She felt sorry for Shiraishi, so she had nothing to argue with
This man is very dangerous, especially the shadow ninjutsu that blocked her attack just now. It is the same as the shadow jutsu of the Nara clan, but the attack and restraint are stronger.
She also used a powerful force to break free.
If a Normal ninja encounters it, he will probably be killed instantly.
As analyzed by the Ministry of Intelligence, this kind of shadow technique is very dangerous, and if you are not careful, you will be killed.
Fighting against Shiraishi, you must pay 120% of your attention, and you can't relax for a moment.
"Why, I just saw that the current ninja world is a bit too boring, so I just want to find some fun for myself. So, I suggest you not stop me. Among all the Konoha ninjas today, the only one I don't want to fight is you."
After hearing Shiraishi's words, Tsunade frowned. Although she realized that Shiraishi had left Konoha with his own special purpose, there was very little revealed from his mouth, and it was impossible to judge what he was going to do.
"However, is it really good for you to come to the Shikkotsu Forest at this time? Konoha is already fighting with Sand Village and Rock Village. Without you, the medical pressure will be great."
"It's best not to underestimate the ninjas in the village. You should be very clear about their medical level."
After all, Shiraishi is partly responsible for Konoha's new generation of medical ninja training.
Konoha's current medical system can definitely be said to be unique in the ninja world, and it is unrivaled in strength.
Rather than worrying about Konoha's situation, Tsunade feels that Shiraishi's side also needs to be watched.
Originally planned to come here to bid farewell to Katsuyu and leave the Shikkotsu Forest, but seeing Shiraishi also come here, Tsunade was a little suspicious of Shiraishi's purpose with some ill intentions.
I am very concerned about the purpose of Shiraishi's contract with Katsuyu.
After all, there are many treasures and inheritances that are not available in the ninja world.
"The purpose of your contract with Katsuyu...isn't it for Sage art?"
Tsunade suddenly thought of something, her face changed slightly, and she looked at Shiraishi solemnly.
Since ancient times, most of the ninjas who have been looking for contracts with the three holy lands have come here for the sage art of the holy lands.
Tsunade was very worried that Shiraishi also came here for the cultivation method of Sage Mode.
"That kind of thing doesn't matter, Katsuyu, can you take me to visit the Shikkotsu Forest?"
Shiraishi did not answer directly, but raised his head and said to Katsuyu.
"Okay, please follow my avatar to visit."
Katsuyu readily agreed, split a slug about the same size as Shiraishi from its huge body, and led the way for Shiraishi in front.
"Then, I won't bother you, Tsunade-sensei."
Shiraishi left with the clone of Katsuyu and visited the Shikkotsu Forest. Shiraishi was very curious about this holy land that existed for thousands of years.
After Shiraishi left, Tsunade immediately asked Katsuyu urgently: "Katsuyu, this guy made a contract with you, did he come here for Sage art?"
"It's not like that, Tsunade-sama. Shiraishi-sama can't come here for senjutsu."
"Why do you say that?"
"I can feel that Shiraishi-sama already has sage chakra in his body. He has already learned sage chakra, and sage chakra is quite stable, so he doesn't need to learn my sage. Besides, my sage is not very suitable for ninja cultivation. You know this, Tsunade-sama."
From the very beginning, Katsuyu felt that Shiraishi possessed chakra and natural energy in his body, and they could be well integrated. Obviously, Shiraishi's Sage art mode has stabilized, and he doesn't need to learn the Sage art of the Shikkotsu Forest.
If you come to learn the Sage art of the Shikkotsu Forest, it will not only be a waste of time, but there will be many unpredictable and unknown risks in the process of cultivation.
For example, the whole body swells and becomes a slug.
Although the contract has just been signed, Shiraishi feels different from ordinary humans. He is cautious and self-aware, knowing what he needs and what he doesn't need.
The analysis of what is useful to oneself and what is useless to oneself is very clear.
"He already learned the Sage Art? How is it possible? Where did he learn it? Mount Myōboku or Ryuchi Cave?"
Tsunade asked in surprise.
"Shiraishi-Sama's Sage art mode is not inherited in Mount Myōboku and Ryūchi Cave. Human beings who learn the Summoning beast's art will possess some of the characteristics of the Summoning beast. The Shiraishi-sama that Tsunade-sama saw just now is already in the state of sage mode. That should be a Sage art mode suitable for human beings."
Although it was the first time I saw it, Katsuyu thought that the direction of her guess was not wrong.
And it also listened to the communication between Shiraishi and Tsunade just now.
Tsunade's student, defected ninja, killed former colleagues... It is not difficult to guess that Shiraishi is the one mentioned by Tsunade, the Konoha defected ninja who killed the son of prophecy.
"I'm really looking forward to Shiraishi-Sama's future, no matter when, human beings are existences full of wonderful possibilities..."
For some reason, Tsunade felt that the tone of Katsuyu became cheerful.
It's like seeing something interesting.
This kind of cheerful mood was the first time Tsunade saw a Katsuyu showing it.
"But is this okay? Did not the Great Toad Sage of Mount Myōboku ask you to take care of the Prophecy's Son?"
Tsunade was a little confused.
"Tsunade-sama, the relationship between the three holy places is not as close and friendly as you imagined, and I hate all meaningless disputes and battles... The children of prophecy are just ordinary people in the ninja world. The development of the times cannot be reversed by one person alone. This kind of helpless thing, human beings always repeat the same mistakes and arrogance, and I have seen it many times. In the end, we are all just existences called 'creatures', and there is no difference in essence."
Therefore, the Son of Prophecy may be a special existence in the eyes of Mount Myōboku, but in her eyes, he is just an ordinary person among all living beings.
And the power of one person, no matter how powerful he is, cannot change the world.
It’s not just nonsense, but the history of mankind that has been witnessed by Katsuyu who have lived for thousands of years.
••••
Shikkotsu Forest, on a hill.
There is a clear hot spring, and Shiraishi feels the rich life energy in the hot spring.
"Shiraishi-Sama, this is the spring of life I built in the past. Soaking it in it is very effective in sensing natural energy and healing injuries. It can also expel many types of poison."
Before Shiraishi could ask, Katsuyu clone next to him took the initiative to explain to Shiraishi the function of the spring in front of him.
Shiraishi looked at the pool with no border in sight. This should be the largest hot spring Shiraishi has ever seen.
Even the country of hot springs, Yugakure, cannot compare with the spring water of life here.
Shiraishi nodded, without hesitation, a shadow blade slashed across, and a deep cut was cut on the back of Shiraishi's hand. Shiraishi put the deeply wounded palm into the warm spring of life.
Sure enough, the wound healed at a speed visible to the naked eye.
This recovery speed is faster than using medical ninjutsu to recover.
"Shiraishi-Sama has already learned the sage art, so the effect of this spring water is basically limited to healing for you."
Katsuyu said so.
"Is the spring water drinkable?"
"The effect of drinking is similar to that of soaking, but it cannot be stored for a long time when taken out, because this is caused by my Sage art, and it will soon lose its effect outside."
Katsuyu saw Shiraishi's thoughts, so she kindly reminded him.
"Is that so, what a pity."
It's normal to think about it carefully. If the spring of life here could be taken out, Tsunade would have already taken it out and used it for the Konoha ninja.
In war, this is simply a healing holy weapon that can greatly reduce the casualty rate.
However, being able to create such a large healing spring, Shiraishi has a clearer concept of Katsuyu's Sage art ability, which is no longer as vague as before.
Looking down from the top of the mountain, below is the pale forest wrapped in thick fog.
Bare white trees emerged from the fog, only the needle-like tops of the trees could be seen.
"By the way, Katsuyu, what kind of tree is that below? I have never seen this kind of tree in the ninja world."
Shiraishi asked curiously, pointing to the trees below.
Pale color, Katsuyu's clones squirmed and climbed on it, and the corrosive mucus secreted from their mouthparts did not leave the slightest sign of decay and melting on it.
"It was originally a common tree in the ninja world, but over the years, after undergoing the transformation of rich natural energy and my corrosive slime, it has grown into a tree as tough as steel, absorbing natural energy and thriving."
Katsuyu said so.
"Then can I cut some?"
"Shiraishi-Sama, please feel free, these trees are useless to me. I don't like this withered color, but if I change my residence, it will only change the rest of the place into this environment."
Katsuyu did not refuse, for it, these are useless external possessions.
"You are really indifferent, you don't care about anything. To be honest, why would a powerful being like you sign a contract with humans?"
Shiraishi was puzzled by this.
The power of immortality in Katsuyu is too strong, and it is estimated that it will be difficult for human beings to reach such a level in their entire life.
Its body only needs to move a little, and it can cause damage like landslides and ground cracks.
This is only the power brought by the body itself, not counting her Sage power.
It is too strange for such an existence to sign a contract with humans.
"Why did you sign a contract with humans? Shiraishi-sama is really a strange human being. Humans came to look for me only for sage art and power, as well as my medical ability. It is relatively rare for Tsunade-sama to regard me as a friend. But Shiraishi-sama is the first to ask such a question."
Katsuyu was indeed a little surprised by Shiraishi's question.
This is the first time I have seen a ninja like him who directly pointed to the essence of the problem.
"Actually, it's nothing. I signed a contract with humans, not to get anything, just because of boredom."
Katsuyu replied in a gentle tone.
"boring?"
Shiraishi turned his head and looked at Katsuyu's clone.
"My lifespan is too long, and I usually pay attention to the maintenance and maintenance of my body. In my eyes, the emotions possessed by human beings are too pale. Anyway, there will be nothing left in the end. I am not passionate about strength and fighting, but sometimes I feel lonely. I hope to use the power of human beings to see the changes in the outside world."
"To pass the time?"
"Yes. I can't even see when and where the end of my life is. I can only draw up Summoning scrolls like Ryuchi Cave and Mount Myōboku, sign contracts with humans, and use the call of humans to pass the long and boring time."
Humans will grow old and die sooner or later.
Even a friend like Tsunade, She might remember her existence now.
But sooner or later, Tsunade will fade from her memory. In the long future, she will forget this kind of friendship, leaving only a cold human name.
And she will always exist in the ninja world, meet different humans in the future, and sign a contract to rely on each other.
In it, you may meet some interesting human beings and bring you unique and precious memories.
The tone of Katsuyu is very peaceful.
That is the path that is finally decided after seeing the changes in all things.
Shiraishi looked at Katsuyu clone next to him, and what he felt in her was not loneliness, but a wise creature who had gone through vicissitudes and looked at the world from the perspective of a bystander.
Not aloof, but also an ordinary person like a hermit.
"Really? Then come and witness my life, Katsuyu."
Shiraishi said with a smile.
"?"
Katsuyu raised her head slightly.
"I intend to inject some alternative ideas into this world, which is a path that is incompatible with the current ninja world. By that time, maybe after countless years, you will think of some interesting past events and smile from your heart."
"Well, I will look forward to it, Shiraishi-Sama."
The tone of Katsuyu is cheerful.
I plan to use Shiraishi's life to witness what kind of changes will be injected into the ninja world.
This kind of change may be the most memorable thing in these years.
Recalling what happened today after countless years, the human ninja named 'Chiba Shiraishi' might no longer be a cold name symbol in her memory at that time.
