Escape from konoha 118
🕑 Added 2023-10-03 03:57:18 +0000 UTCChapter 118 About being ambiguous with Ayane
"Nice meeting, Mr. Chiba Shiraishi, this is the first time we have met face to face."
Maitreya, the maiden sitting on the stage, spoke. Her voice was very distinctive. When she spoke, the surroundings became quieter.
"Yes, Your Excellency Maitreya."
Shiraishi sat on the cushion prepared by the maid before she left, and nodded, with a neither humble nor overbearing attitude.
Before, they had always communicated in the form of letters, which were sent by General Earth. This was the first time that they met in person.
"You are here now, what is the matter?"
Miko Maitreya asked.
"There are some things that I need to discuss with Your Excellency Maitreya. This is a plan that I drew up in a hurry. Please read it."
Without any nonsense, Shiraishi directly explained his purpose of coming.
Shiraishi was about to go forward to hand the scroll to Maitreya, but Maitreya sat there and raised his palm, and the scroll in Shiraishi's hand floated up and fell into Maitreya's hand.
Seeing this scene, Shiraishi smiled.
Miko's ability...seems interesting.
Maitreya opened the scroll, glanced at the contents calmly, and after reading it, a rare strange look appeared on his face.
"Your Excellency Maitreya, what do you think?"
"Although I can't understand some things, I can feel that if the above things come true, it can make the lives of the people of the ghost country better. Then please, Mr. Shiraishi."
"Thank you very much for your trust."
"You're welcome, I just hope that the lives of the people in this country will get better and better."
Speaking of this, Maitreya couldn't help but glance at the content on the scroll.
Repair roads, build schools, popularize education...
If Shiraishi needs the asylum status of a neutral country provided by the ghost country to engage in some ulterior and illegal activities, Maitreya thinks this is normal.
"By the way, there is one thing. Can Your Excellency Maitreya clear up my doubts?"
At this moment, Shiraishi interrupted Maitreya's thinking.
"Please say."
"About Mount Myōboku."
Shiraishi's face became more serious.
At the beginning, he just thought that the Holy Land Mount Myōboku was just inhabited by a group of toads who could practice Sage arts.
But through the matter of the Minato, he saw the heritage and power of this holy place.
Even things like reversing life and death can be done. To be honest, Shiraishi himself has to re-understand the power of this holy place.
"I know very little about the things over there. But there is only one thing that needs to be noted, that is, the leader of Mount Myōboku, the Great Toad Sage, has the power to predict the future just like us witches. And in terms of prophecy, he is more comprehensive and omnipotent than our witches."
A solemn look appeared on Maitreya's face for the first time.
"The Great Toad Sage?"
The leader of Mount Miaomu, Shiraishi, heard this title for the first time, as well as the existence of the Great Toad Sage.
"It is said that the Great Toad Sage is a toad that has lived for more than a thousand years. It is also scribbled in the records of the shrine maiden that he was once a life-and-death acquaintance with the ancestor of the ninja, the six-path sage."
Hey, why did you suddenly start talking about fairy tales? Shiraishi complained in his heart.
A toad that has lived for more than a thousand years without dying is enough to make people feel horrified. Even a fictional character in the storybook, such as the Sage of the Six Paths, has appeared.
Isn’t that a fairy tale?
Mythical stories are usually fictional characters formed by human beings through various artistic processes.
"Mr. Shiraishi doesn't believe this?"
“At one point, the topic suddenly jumped to Sage of the Six Paths. I always thought it was a fictional character.”
Shiraishi answered honestly.
"But in this world, there are indeed many wonderful things that cannot be explained by human common sense. The Great Toad Sage has probably noticed you."
Maitreya's astonishing words made Shiraishi slightly stunned.
"Pay attention to me? What does this mean? I haven't had direct contact with the toad on Mount Myōboku."
"No need to contact, predicting the future is the power to peek into fate. Sometimes, we witches will have some dreams about the future, and those things, without exception, all happened as in the dream. However, Mr. Shiraishi doesn't have to be too pessimistic. Please be optimistic when facing death."
Even when he said this, Mitreya still had a gentle smile on her face.
Obviously, she is used to this kind of thing.
Issues like life and death can't bother her.
"..."
Shiraishi glanced at Maitreya speechlessly.
He didn't feel that the Maitreya Priestess was comforting him at all.
Standing up from the ground, he sighed and said, "Fate? Although I don't want to believe in such strange things, I will pay attention to it. Thank you, Excellency Maitreya, for your reminder."
Mount Myōboku? What a troublesome existence.
If you want to fight against Konoha's people next time, you have to get rid of this thorn in your side first.
Otherwise it would always be there to resurrect the dead that he killed, which is really tricky.
"Then, I will take my leave first, Your Excellency Maitreya."
"Please go ahead."
"By the way, if my rebellious identity is exposed, won't it cause trouble for the ghost kingdom?"
"Ah... don't worry, in this world, there are responsibilities that only shrine maidens can fulfill."
Maitreya Miko gave this answer.
Shiraishi nodded. Although he doesn't know what the duties of the witch are, it must be a troublesome matter. It may also be related to the status of the ghost country as a neutral country.
Don't delve into this kind of thing, the current job is to take advantage of the war as soon as possible to strengthen your own strength.
•••••
The border between the Land of Fire and the Land of Rain.
The battle broke out early in the morning.
Ding Ding—
On the rainy battlefield, there was the sound of Kunai and shuriken colliding.
They fought and killed each other, and the hysterical roars of people could also be heard.
There is no temperature in the air, only the strong smell of rust irritates everyone's nasal cavity.
That's blood.
The explosion of explosive tags, ninjutsu hitting people, and the heart-piercing screams of the enemy at the last moment of life.
The sky was dark and dense, and the extremely thick dark clouds gathered, pressing down to the point where people could not breathe.
There are dead bodies everywhere.
Blooded weapons, pits blasted by ninjutsu and Explosive flashes.
Water bombs and fireballs, thunder and earth walls, sharp wind blades roar like beasts.
This is ninja war.
"Earth Style :Earthquake Core!"
An Iwagakure Jōnin makes seals and performs ninjutsu.
The huge area of land sprinted towards the sky, knocking large pieces of Konoha ninja into the sky, and then spit out stones from its mouth.
When the stones were moving in the air, they suddenly increased in size, bombarding the Konoha ninjas flying in the sky, making them scream.
"That guy Kitsuchi is quite capable. Then I can't lag behind here."
Iwagakure Jōnin with an explosive head also smiled, clenched his fists, and fell to the ground
The ground suddenly exploded, causing a small earthquake, making the Konoha ninja in front unable to stand still.
"It's an Explosive Style ninja!"
"Haha, how happy, am I already so famous?"
The Explosive Style Rock Ninjas who performed the explosion, heard the panicked shouts of the Konoha ninjas, and immediately jumped over, causing a series of explosions, blowing a large number of Konoha ninjas away.
As if entering no man's land, rampage among Konoha troops.
Boom!
A huge shadow fell from the sky covered in dark clouds.
The thunderous sound came from behind Explosive Style Rock Ninja.
Dozens of Rock Ninjas were killed in the thunderous explosion.
The sand is flying and the stones are scattered.
The ground trembled, cracking countless prints.
The body of Rock Village ninjas who was around trembled with the ground, and also trembled a bit, looking at the behemoth that appeared in front of him, showing a look of horror.
It was a huge toad as big as a hill, and Rock Village Ninjas, who were crushed by it, had already turned into a puddle of meat.
The attack of falling from a high altitude is more fierce and direct than any ninjutsu.
"Ahem!"
Explosive Style Rock Ninja evacuated from the flying dust, bleeding from the corner of his mouth, looking at Konoha Ninja standing on the giant toad—
Jiraiya, one of the Sannin!
"It seems a bit troublesome now."
Although Sannin is the title of a loser, for most ninjas, it is still a top-level existence.
Explosive Style Rock Ninja quickly withdrew here, and it was too reluctant to deal with Jiraiya with his ability.
This guy needs a few jounin and hundreds of ninjas to contain the large Summoning beast.
"Really, Humans are always fighting wars non stop. You are too, Jiraiya, don't call me out to fight every time."
The huge toad summoned by Jiraiya, with a huge pipe in its mouth, glanced at the ninja below with disdainful eyes, and complained to Jiraiya.
"Sorry, Gamabunta, we, Konoha, cannot lose this war."
Jiraiya also understands the severity of the current situation.
If he falls here, Rock Village Ninjas can drive straight into the country of fire, and cooperate with Sand Village on the other side to attack Orochimaru's troops.
At that time, the Konoha ninjas who stayed here will definitely suffer heavy losses, and They will be slaughtered by Rock Village and Sand Village.
"I understand."
As he spoke, Toad Bunta's mouth bulged, and he immediately spit out a large amount of oil, which poured out from the sky.(Gamabunta = Gama + bunta , Gama means toad or Frog)
Jiraiya also formed a seal there, spitting out a huge fireball from his mouth.
"Fire Style · Toad Oil Flame Bomb!"
The fireball mixed with the oil poured from the sky, and immediately turned into a sea of flames, burning towards Iwagakure Ninja.
Even in rainy weather, Distruction offensive is still unmatched.
"Don't underestimate people, Konoha's ninja!"
"Earth Style : Earth Flow City Wall!"
Enduring the losses on the Rock Village side over there, he patted the ground with one hand, and a fortress-like iron wall rose from the ground, blocking the mixed attack of oil and fire.
Because he released a large amount of chakra in one breath, Kitsuchi couldn't help taking a breath, but stared at Jiraiya stubbornly, not to be outdone.
"This guy's strength is a bit tricky."
Explosive Style Rock Ninjas came to Kitsuchi's side.
"After all, he is a disciple of Hokage."
Kitsuchi nodded.
"Are the two united? Gari of the Explosion Release ( nickname ) and Tsuchikage Son Kitsuchi... are both troublesome ninjas."
If the opponents are these two, Jiraiya doesn't think he has time to take care of the rest of the Konoha ninjas.
If you are not careful, you may lose the battle here.
Leaving aside the Kitsuchi, Explosive Style Gari is an elite Jōnin who became famous in Rock Village, and Explosive Style Gari has an extraordinary Bloodline Limit.
•••••
The fierce exchange of fire of the three ninja villages of Konoha, Sand Village, and Rock Village immediately caused an undercurrent in the ninja world.
The small country sandwiched between them has once again become a battlefield, and the scale of the war is far more terrifying than the last ninja war.
In contrast, the country of ghosts, which is far away from the battlefield area, is located in a corner, so this war has nothing to do with this country.
"Suppression of bandits?"
Ruri was a little unclear about Shiraishi's opinion.
Facing Ruri's doubts, Shiraishi nodded and replied:
"Yes, although the country of ghosts has not been affected by the war, the domestic environment is not completely stable. There are many thieves around some remote and unmanned villages. We must clean up all the thieves in the country as soon as possible. This map records the location of the thieves."
Shiraishi took out a map of the country of ghosts, on which many places were marked with red circles, proving that bandits were haunted.
"Just let the people below do these small things."
If it is an opponent of comparable strength, Ruri will still be a little interested.
These weak thieves made Ruri less interested.
"No, they're going to build the road."
Shiraishi rejected Ruri's proposal.
"..."
"Many roads in the land of ghosts are not very smooth, which is not a big deal for ninjas, but it is very difficult for ordinary people to walk, especially on rainy days. This is a huge amount of work."
Even if all the people in the organization are put into it, it will take a long time.
But again, this is work that has to be done.
For future convenience, I can only work hard now.
"Is there any point in doing this?"
Ruri frowned with a headache.
Compared to suppressing bandits, building roads, etc. Her interest is to become stronger through cultivation, and she is not a mercenary or a craftsman. ( cultivation= training, practice, etc.)
"Of course it is meaningful. In order to promote sound exchanges in business, education, etc., road construction is a must."
"I see, I just do it."
Ruri walked out in displeasure.
Seeing Ruri go out with a displeased face, Shiraishi was also helpless, because there is really no manpower in the organization.
Suppressing bandits is the first step, because in order to stabilize the internal stability of the ghost country, the problem of banditry must be solved first.
While solving the banditry, road repairs should also be carried out simultaneously.
There is no time for him to rest now.
Wanting to connect the new road to every city, every village and town in the ghost country, the workload is not insignificant.
Fortunately, the ninjas can use various tricks to shorten the project, otherwise the amount of the project is really scary.
Compared with building roads and killing bandits, it is the easiest and easiest work.
Banditry and road construction work are in full swing, and there is no need for him to point fingers.
The rest is the school organization. With the school, we can increase political propaganda, popularize education issues, and improve the ideological level of the people.
"Shiraishi-kun, I'm here to find you."
Ayane's voice came from behind her.
Then there was a very familiar elastic feeling on the back.
"Hey, don't suddenly appear behind me."
"What's the matter, I just saw Ruri seems to have gone out." At this point, Ayane showed a smirk on her face: "In other words, there are only two of us here now, right?"
Those eyes seem to be expecting something.
"Are you done with your work?"
Shiraishi ignored her expectations and glanced at her.
Ayane let go of Shiraishi's neck from behind, stood aside, and said in a distressed tone: "The jobs you assigned to me are too boring, and it's because they are boring that I don't want to stay there. Anyway, it doesn't matter if I'm not there, and I don't know how to build roads, so I let General Earth look there instead of me."
"You should also take care of it a little bit, you are the face of those ninjas of the Hinata clan. By the way, there is nothing wrong with your mother, right?"
Shiraishi asked what he remembered.
When Ayane left the Hyuga Clan this time, she knocked her mother unconscious from behind and was transported here.
Ayane played with her fingers around her hair, and said with a nonchalant smile: "That woman, she was crying at the beginning, saying that I shouldn't do this, so go back and apologize, the Main family will definitely forgive me for what she said... What a stupid woman."
"Is it okay to say that about her? She is your mother after all."
"If she wasn't my mother, I wouldn't care about her life or death. Don't worry, that woman is very reserved, she dare not speak out, she only complains in her heart. She is a woman in line with Hinata's tradition."
Ayane commented on her mother like this.
After hearing Ayane's words, Shiraishi decided to ignore her. After all, his current job is to get the development plan of the Ghost Kingdom on track as soon as possible.
"Shiraishi-kun, it's okay to be lazy once in a while, anyway, we are now completely free, and Ruri is not here, how about soaking in hot springs? You can also work afterward, right? Speaking of which, I really haven't soaked in the hot springs in the country of ghosts. Let's try it together."
Ayane hugged her again, speaking in ambiguous words.
The heavy and tight snow-white body is almost jumping out from the neckline of the clothes.
"This is the office, be more serious...it blocks my eyes."
Shiraishi felt a burning sensation welling up deep in his nose.
Is this the power of the S-level esoteric forbidden technique?
This esoteric ninjutsu has already been fouled.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door.
"Oh, is Chiba Shiraishi in there? I'm Miyoko, and I brought those materials for you. Eh? The door doesn't seem to be locked, so I'm welcome to come in."
With a snap, he turned the doorknob.
Wearing gorgeous clothes, Miyoko Uchiha walked in from the outside, with a bright smile on her face, she seemed in a good mood.
In the end, what She saw was Ayane pressing sideways on Shiraishi's body in an ambiguous posture.
Eyelids twitched, and a smile froze on her face.
"That...Chiba Shiraishi, what are you doing, did I come at the wrong time?"
