"Lord Hokage, this is a reward order issued from Grass Village."
Anbu Ninja appeared in the office of the Hokage Building with a teleportation technique, and immediately put the intelligence document in his hand on the table in front of Sarutobi Hiruzen for him to watch.
Hiruzen has learned about the terrorist attack on Grass Village through Anbu’s channels, but there are still many doubts about it, including why Grass Village was attacked and the identity of the attacker.
In the previous question, Anbu was dispatched to conduct a secret investigation to find out why Grass Village was attacked.
The last question about the identity of the assailant, Hiruzen looked at the maiden costume girl that appeared in the document. She was about sixteen years old and had an unfamiliar face. She was neither a ninja from the Ninja Village system nor had she appeared in the underground black market before. She was a girl in a strange costume with a completely unknown identity.
She was able to use the powerful Wind Style ninjutsu and She has the ability to fly freely in the sky as Third Tsuchikage of Iwagakure.
However, the third Tsuchikage used Earth Style. The secret of the flight of this witch-dressed girl, it is not difficult to see that her flying ability should be in Wind Style.
In addition to this strangely dressed witch girl, there is also a non-human, dark beast like a Summoning beast.
It is small in size, about the size of a pet cat at home. It can use the long-range attack type Thunder Style, and it will cooperate with the flying priestess to launch lightning attacks falling from the sky.
It was this one girl and one beast that made the numerous ninjas in Grass Village helpless and shameful.
Not long after the Grass Village was attacked, a bounty amount for this man and beast appeared on the underground black market.
Because of the special flying ninjutsu, the maiden costume girl can also use large-scale destructive wind style ninjutsu, which is extremely dangerous, and the reward amount is 55 million ryō.
The young summoning beast whose whole body is pitch black has a bounty of 15 million ryo, which is a high bounty of 70 million ryo.
Even if you don’t need to investigate, you know that the bounty hunters in the underground black market are starting to act at this moment, wanting to get the reward of up to 70 million ryo for the head of this girl and beast.
"Have you investigated the cause of the attack on Grass Village?"
Hiruzen asked Anbu Ninja.
Grass Village cannot be attacked for no reason. Whether it is coveted powerful ninjutsu, or indirectly offending someone, these are all things that Hiruzen is more concerned about.
"Sorry, Hokage-sama, this matter is still under investigation, but I believe there will be a result soon."
"Is that so? Continue to follow up the investigation and make sure to find out why Grass Village was attacked."
Hiruzen felt that this matter was not simple. During the non-war period, these small ninja villages encountered frontal attacks. This was the first time this happened.
Even for a small Ninja village like Grass Village, its military power is not something anyone can provoke.
Hiruzen is worried about the fact that someone is remotely controlling behind the scenes.
"yes."
The Anbu ninja retreated respectfully.
After the Anbu ninja retreated, Hiruzen started thinking.
On the surface, this incident has nothing to do with Konoha, but the Country of Grass where Grass Village is located is very close to the Country of Fire. Just in case, it is necessary to further investigate the attack on Grass Village.
Through this incident, he saw a ninja essence full of holes and undercurrents.
Since the last ninja world war, although the situation in various countries is stable on the surface, Hiruzen is very clear that the ninja villages in all countries are doing superficial peace and secretly accumulating strength.
Among them, Kumogakure and Sand Village are ahead.
Needless to say, The Third Raikage who have inherited the fighting ideas of the previous Raikage. Under his leadership, Kumogakure Village has always attached great importance to the development of the military field.
In the last Ninja World War, although Kumogakure did not appear, Hiruzen has always placed a ninja troop at the border between the Fire Country and the Tang Country, in order to prevent the surprise attack on Kumogakure Village. For the third Raikage who is known as the strongest shield spear, Hiruzen can be said to be very afraid.
It is said that he can fight with tailed beasts by relying on his flesh, this kind of thing is really appalling.
The third Kazekage of Sand village is the youngest among the contemporary Five Kages, but he is ambitious. In recent years, his military development has been comparable to that of Kumogakure Village.
In contrast to Konoha, members of the Hyuga Clan's family are missing, and their lives and deaths are unknown today. It is suspected that they were attacked by Kirigakure ninjas and robbed of their eyes.
After the White Fang incident, foreign deterrence declined.
The roots of Uchiha and Danzo are like fire and water, which is an important reason why it is difficult for high-level officials to negotiate with the Uchiha clan.
Whether it is to give up Uchiha or Danzo, it is something that Hiruzen does not want to see.
Without the roots of Danzo, his Anbu alone is not enough to check and balance the powerful power of the Uchiha clan.
I maintain these forces in a stable balance, but it is not surprising when this balance is broken.
The only place worthy of praise is that it has made great progress in medical education. Tsunade has trained batch after batch of medical ninjas in the ninja school, and has spared no effort in the supply of funds and benefits.
Now it has officially entered the team mode, and the sacrifice rate of the ninja team that has performed missions in the past two years has been greatly reduced.
The attack on Grass Village this time is to reveal the fact that the undercurrents are surging in the ninja world, and the fig leaf of peace on the surface of the ninja world has been torn apart.
Looking faintly out of the window, the tranquility is broken, how long will the peace last?
Hiruzen looked at Konoha who was peaceful and comfortable, and gradually felt powerless.
•••
"Anyway, you made a lot of noise this time, right?"
That was what Ruri said to Shiraishi after returning from the mission.
The attack on Grass Village is such a big thing, it has now been completely spread in the ninja world.
During the attack, Grass Village is said to have lost nearly dozens of ninjas and hundreds of people got injured in this battle.
Although civilians were not affected, important facilities were blown up and wiped out, causing heavy losses.
"To be honest, I didn't expect the two of them to make such a big commotion. Rather, the two of them are stronger than I expected."
Shiraishi smiled helplessly. Generally speaking, various accidents will happen in the plan, which leads to the discrepancy with expectations.
And whether this kind of accident is developing in a good direction or in a bad direction is difficult to control.
But as far as this matter is concerned, although it has aroused the hostility of Grass Village, it also proves that the strength of the two avatars, Kazumi and Thunder Pill, should be developing in a better direction.
In the future, if you need to break through the defense of Ninja Village, you can use similar means to achieve your goals.
After all, the ability to fly is enough to give many ninjas a headache.
As far as Shiraishi knows, there are very few ninjas in the ninja world who have mastered the ability to fly, and ninjutsu has a limited range. No matter what kind of battle it is, occupying the sky is equivalent to occupying a natural advantage, and can advance and retreat.
If the battle with the Grass Ninjas started on land, then Kazumi and Thunder Pill would not seem so relaxed.
"The remnants of the Uzumaki family are basically arranged. Now there are forty-seven people who have migrated from all over the world to the demon country. This is a very huge potential stock. If the talents of each of them are realized, the demon kingdom basically doesn't need to worry about anything."
Shiraishi made this judgment.
The general characteristics of this group of people are that they have chakras that surpass ordinary people, and they also have extremely large vitality, which fits well with the natural energy system. There are many paths for future development, and they can cultivate talents in many special fields for the organization.
"No matter what, you have to be careful. The affairs of the Uzumaki family are very sensitive. If someone finds out, it will easily attract some people's prying eyes."
"Of course I understand this kind of thing. Don't worry, I have sent people to arrange them to live in the underground space of the headquarters. The usual training and life are basically solved there, eliminating the possibility of meeting outsiders."
Besides, there are many sensory ninjas and Hyuga ninjas in the headquarters, so there is no need to worry about detection and security.
After the Grass Village attack, Shiraishi also allowed Kazumi and Thunder Pill to sit there, making up for the lack of high-end combat power there.
I believe that with the strength of the two of them, together with the manpower at the headquarters, it is enough to deal with most emergencies.
And as time goes by, when the remnants of the Uzumaki family are cultivated into the backbone strength of the organization, there is no need to worry too much about their safety.
According to speculation, during the Ninja World War at that time, the attention of the five major powers was all on the battlefield, and most of their attention would never be concentrated on a marginal neutral country like the kingdom of demons.
Seeing Shiraishi's careful arrangements, Ruri was worried about anything.
It was just because the incident this time was too big that I couldn't help reminding Shiraishi a few words.
"One more thing, my body is used to this kind of bracelet, is there a higher level limiter?"
Ruri took off the chakra limiter bracelet from her hand, threw it in front of Shiraishi, and asked him to change to a chakra limiter with a stronger limiting ability.
"So fast?"
Shiraishi was slightly surprised on his face. He remembered that it took Ruri more than half a month to overcome the first limiter.
However, after the second limiter is worn and paired with the first limiter, the restricting force on Chakra directly increases several times. According to Shiraishi's original prediction, it should take a month or two before Ruri can overcome the Chakra binding force brought by the two limiters.
Didn't expect it to end so many days early.
"Probably because I've been practicing sage arts recently, and I feel that my Sharingan has reached the limit. If I go further, I can only develop towards the Mangekyō Sharingan."
After practicing the formed immortal technique, Ruri could feel that her pupil power had been further improved.
She has reached the limit of 3 tomoe Sharingan.
If there is still untapped power in Sharingan, it can only be a higher-level ,Mangekyō Sharingan.
"Mangekyō Sharingan? That legendary eye? Speaking of which, does that kind of thing really exist?"
When Shiraishi heard Ruri talking about Mangekyō Sharingan, he couldn't help but think of the Uchiha family records that Ruri provided him before, which recorded some things about Mangekyō Sharingan.
The Uchiha Clan's legendary supreme pupil technique, but since Uchiha Madara's defeat, the Mangekyō Sharingan has been completely reduced to a legend, and no one in the Uchiha Clan has opened this pair of legendary eyes.
"That's not a legend. I can feel that there is definitely a higher level of power above the ordinary Sharingan."
Ruri said affirmatively.
"But how can you awaken it?"
Shiraishi asked the key.
Whether the Mangekyō sharingan is a legend or a real pupil technique, if it is not opened, it is the same as if there is no one.
Shiraishi knows very little about these eyes, and it is impossible for him to use Sharingan ninjas for human research, otherwise he can analyze whether there is a stronger power hidden in Sharingan.
"I think it may be the same as ordinary Sharingan, it needs to be stimulated by strong emotions to open the eyes."
Because in the very beginning, her Sharingan was promoted step by step to the form of three tomoe Sharingan.
And Three Tomoe Sharingan is tantamount to the end of the ordinary Sharingan.
If it was a year ago, Ruri would not be sure that her Sharingan was the strongest among the Uchihas, but now she is absolutely confident that no one in the family can surpass her in the use of Sharingan.
Not long after, Ruri left, and Shiraishi's face was calm.
There is no need to worry about the chakra limiter, but the Mangekyō Sharingan...
Shiraishi couldn't help but think of the Sharingan of unknown origin he met last year. A ninja who can control that level of pupil power is by no means an unknown person in the ninja world.
Or, is that really the pupil power that a 3 tomoe Sharingan can have?
Even now that Ruri, who has practiced sage arts, has surpassed the limit of the 3 Tomoe Sharingan, Shiraishi still feels that the pupil power of the 3 Tomoe sharingan is a little worse than the two.
In the Uchiha clan, it seems that there are still many unspeakable secrets hidden.
Just as Shiraishi was about to return to the laboratory, General Earth emerged from the ground.
He took out a scroll from his body and placed it in front of Shiraishi.
Shiraishi looked surprised, but he still picked up the scroll, opened it, and read the content on it.
Only one thing is mentioned above—
Sand village and Iwagakure secretly purchased a large amount of medical supplies from Aster Flower Company, and they are suspected of entering the stage of war preparations.
•••
"I didn't expect that the remnants of the Uzumaki clan were hidden in Grass Village."
In the dark environment, Danzo got the intelligence documents submitted by his subordinates and said such words.
Half a month has passed since the Grass Village was attacked.
During this period of time, the focus of ninja villages in various countries has gathered on Grass Village. Unsurprisingly, Konoha's Anbu and Roots have also focused their attention on Grass Village, digging out the reasons behind the attack on Grass Village.
Even though Grass Village tried its best to conceal it, according to some clues, the root investigators still found some suspicious places, confirming that there are remnants of the Uzumaki clan in Grass Village.
It's just that following the attack, the survivors of the Uzumaki clan mysteriously disappeared from the interior of Grass Village, and they are currently missing.
Danzo held the reward list with the portraits of Kazumi and Thunder Pill printed on it, his eyes narrowed slightly.
Did you attack Grass Village for the remnants of the Uzumaki clan?
First, they attacked Hozuki Castle, made bait, and mobilized the troops of Grass Village towards Hozuki Castle.
Then quickly launched an attack on Grass Village. Grass Village, whose troops were scattered, was helpless in the face of the enemy's air attack.
On the second day after the attack, Grass Village counted the losses and found that the remnants of the Uzumaki clan in the village had disappeared.
This is the general result deduced by the root investigators. Although there may be discrepancies in some places in the process, these are the main lines of the matter.
"Master Danzo, do you want to start an investigation on the survivors of the Uzumaki clan immediately?"
The root ninja asked.
"No need. Since the other party has done this kind of thing, they must have considered this point. If we go to investigate now, the biggest possibility is that we will get nothing and waste energy. Compared with tracking down the whereabouts of these Uzumaki clan remnants, the most important thing right now is to prevent the Uchiha clan."
Danzo shook his head.
The people who attacked Grass Village had a well-planned plan. Before the attack, those attackers had already planned their retreat route.
A lot of time has been wasted in investigating the cause of the attack on Grass Village. It is too late to investigate at this time.
"Yes." Root Ninja lowered his head, then thought of something and said: "But Danzo-sama, our people can't get close to Uchiha Ruri at all. No one who has been spying on her in the past has sent back a message so far, and we don't know if they are alive or dead."
Although he really wants to share the pressure for the leader Danzo, the ninjas That were good at hiding and were sent to monitor uchiha Ruri, had lost contact.
It is meaningless to continue to send professional ninjas in the latent domain if this continues, it will only deplete the power of the roots.
After all, there was one of them sent out before, whose hidden ability could not even sense using jutsu. However, even such a professional latent ninja failed in the mission.
Either died, or was caught and imprisoned, otherwise it is impossible to not send any news back now.
Naturally, this kind of thing cannot be reported to Hokage, and Roots secretly monitored the members of the Uchiha clan without any order.
"If she had been eliminated at any cost earlier..."
Sitting on the seat, Danzo felt that things were tricky.
Now it's too late to regret it, that little girl from the Uchiha clan has grown to the point where they can't do anything about it.
If you want to get rid of her secretly, I am afraid that at least a few Jounin and a dozen Chunin will need to join forces to lay a net in advance.
And now he can't even control the other party's whereabouts and work and rest time. It is really difficult to set a trap for her like he did a few years ago.
"I'm very sorry, Danzo-sama."
"This has nothing to do with you. The current situation between Roots and the Uchiha clan is exactly the balance that the third Hokage wants to see, and this balance will endanger the village sooner or later. Therefore, people of this clan must not be taken lightly."
Danzo issued such a judgment.
In his eyes, the balancing strategy that Hiruzen has been pursuing is just a product of compromise with the Uchiha clan.
Although this kind of balance guarantees the stability of Konoha to a certain extent, it also makes Konoha lose many opportunities to become stronger.
Sure enough, I am the most suitable person to be Hokage.
Thinking of this, a trace of nostalgia flashed in Danzo's eyes.
A mistake at the time made him miss the position of Hokage, and from then he could only become a root buried deep under the darkness of Konoha.
In retrospect, this is the thing that makes me regret the most.
And now, this moment is the time for him to use the power of his roots to save Konoha again.
•••
The Land of Winds, Hidden Sand Village.
In an inconspicuous meeting room, all the high-level of the sand village , high-ranking ninjas, including Third Kazekage, were gathered.
Advisor Chiyo siblings are also among them, as the left and right assistants of Third Kazekage.
"Everyone, I have decided to launch an attack on Konoha in the Land of Fire next year."
At the beginning of the meeting, Third Kazekage went straight to the point.
After hearing these words, none of the high-ranking People around showed surprise.
Thinking about it carefully, Hidden Sand Village has been secretly accumulating strength since the last Ninja World War, laying the groundwork for the third Ninja World War that they personally triggered in the near future.
Third Kazekage brought up this matter at this time, but it was expected.
In order to warm up for the third ninja war in the near future, the last ninja war resulted in the sacrifice of Konoha's elite jonin Kato dan, and they were already premeditated at that time.
Just last year, Konoha White Fang also committed suicide due to Konoha's high-level mistakes. Konoha's high-end combat power has suffered heavy losses at this time, which is a godsend opportunity.
The Third Hokage needs to sit in Konoha to defend against the rest of Shinobi Village, and cannot be easily mobilized.
Konoha can mobilize high-end combat power on the battlefield at this moment, only Konoha Sannin.
Konoha Sannin performed well in the last Ninja World War, and the three of them jointly blocked the attack of the sand troops led by Kazekage.
But in the later stage, the Sannin began to lose strength. If Konoha White Fang hadn't invaded the hinterland of Sand Village's position to disturb him, Sand Village would have succeeded last time.
But now, Konoha doesn't have a second Konoha White Fang. On the frontal battlefield, with their Kazekage-sama, what are the Sannin?
"Master Kazekage, when is the specific time to attack Konoha?"
A senior couldn't help asking.
The general plan is very clear to the high-level ninja present here. The only thing that needs to be discussed now is when is the best time to attack Konoha.
"I discussed with Elder Chiyo and Elder Ebizō in advance, and I think February next year is the best time. In the second month of the new year, Konoha will caught off guard."
After Third Kazekage finished speaking, the senior consultants Chiyo and Ebizō sat down calmly, obviously agreeing with Third Kazekage's point of view.
The rest of the top executives looked at each other. Although a few had reservations, since the three most influential among the top executives had already voted on their opinions, it must be a certainty to attack Konoha in February next year.
"Elder Chiyo, I will leave the preparations for the supplies to you."
Third Kazekage stood up from his seat, and gave instructions to the advisor Chiyo beside him.
"Leave this matter to me, Kazekage-same. I have sent people to cooperate with the Aster Flower Company, and asked them to provide us with a large number of medical supplies."
Chiyo nodded in agreement.
Because it is a winter march, even at the end of winter, the combat effectiveness may be affected by the cold weather. After all, the climate of the Land of Fire is very different from that of the Land of Wind.
Needless to say, heating props for winter, all kinds of medical supplies must be prepared in advance.
Although Aster Flower Company is a new pharmaceutical company, the strength of this company cannot be underestimated.
In addition, their branch pharmacy has a very good response in Sand Village, and their research and development capabilities in the field of medicine are commendable. The price and effect are also very affirmed by the civilians and ninjas in Sand village, and they are relatively close to the people.
Moreover, this company represents the officials of the neutral country demons, which is also the reason why Chiyo trusts it.
Neutral countries will not participate in the ninja world war, and will not be involved in the ninja world war. The demon country will never leak secrets, unless they want to experience whether the blade of the hidden sand village is sharp enough.
"Then, Elder Ebizō, I will ask Iwagakure."
If you want to eat the fat of the Fire Nation, you can't do it with Sand Village alone.
As early as a year ago, he had secretly sent someone to contact Iwagakure's third Tsuchikage Onoki, and asked Ebizo to go to Iwagakure at this time, but it was to strengthen Sand village's determination and formally start a full-scale cooperation with Iwagakure to share the delicious food of the country of fire.
Third Kazekage looked out of the window with excited eyes, which was the direction of Konoha, the land of fire.
Without Konoha White Fang, Sannin alone is absolutely unable to stop the coalition forces of Sunagakure and Iwagakure.
This time, they will surely win!
