Escape From Konoha 84
🕑 Added 2023-09-14 03:07:16 +0000 UTCChapter 84 Hyuga’s Handling
Hyuuga disappeared.
The two accompanying guards from the branch family disappeared.
In the eyes of the Hyuga clan, this is definitely not something that can be dismissed at once.
This incident finally made the elders of the Hyuga clan suspicious.
But unfortunately, no matter how they investigate and look for witnesses who survived the cruise ship that day, there is only one answer—
Three suspected ninjas of the Hyuga clan were on a cruise ship traveling from the Land of the Rainbow to the port of the Land of Fire, and were attacked by ninjas using Water Style on the way.
The current whereabouts are unknown, and there is no news.
I don't know whether it is dead or alive.
This is the worst thing.
The death of the two branch guards is not a particularly important matter. Just like Hyuga Shingo before, even if they are missing, the enemy cannot get supercilious eyes.
There is only one way to get rid of the caged bird—and that is death.
But after death, the bird in the cage will destroy the brain nerves and eyes of the branch ninja, so that the enemy can't get anything useful.
Their disappearance is a pity at best, and they don't feel that the matter has reached the point of no return.
But the disappearance of the ninja of the clan is no small matter.
Hyuga Fire Array is a member of the main clan, and the sealing technique set up in his brain nerves is not as safe as a caged bird, and can be broken.
Once Hyuga's Byakugan are acquired by the enemy, it will not be good news for Hyuga and Konoha as a whole.
Byakugan's strategic role is too great.
This incident was also learned by the Konoha executives.
In a few days, they have held more than a dozen meetings in a row to deal with this matter.
Hyuga Fire Array disappeared in the sea between the Rainbow Country and the Fire Country. Before disappearing, according to many eyewitnesses, they fought with ninjas who used Water Style.
"This matter may be Kirigakure's conspiracy, we have to guard against it."
As the root leader, Danzo is also the embodiment of the dark side of Konoha, so he naturally speculates on others with his own greatest malice.
Because of empathy, if you are a high-level person in Kirigakure Village, if you are lucky to find traces of the Hyuga clan ninja in the neighboring country of Rainbow, you will naturally go all out to capture this clan ninja and get the precious Blood Succession Limit into your hands for research.
"The witnesses on the cruise ship said that the ninjas who used the Water Style did not wear the costumes of Kirigakure Village. Although the identity of the other party cannot be determined, the Kirigakure ninjas are most likely to be disguised."
This ninja village, which is basically isolated from other countries on the mainland, is the embodiment of the military power of the Land of Water, one of the five great powers.
At no time should their strength be underestimated.
Since the First Ninja World War, when Kirigakure Village fought with Iwagakure in the Land of Earth, Kirigakure Village has been Recovering its energy for these years. The previous Second Ninja World War was the same as Yunyin Village in the Land of Thunder, without any action.
They have been secretly accumulating strength and cultivating excellent ninjas.
Like the rest of the ninja village, he is hostile towards Konoha.
"As early as when the elders of the Hyuga Sect were looking for me, I had already dispatched Anbu to negotiate with Kirigakure's senior management."
Hiruzen spoke at this time.
"How is Kirigakure going to explain it?"
"They didn't know about this, and it also proved that there were no Kikakure ninjas performing missions in the sea area between the Rainbow Country and the Fire Country. They expressed their silent condolences for this incident."
"The cat cries and the mouse pretends to be merciful. They target the ninjas of the Hyuga clan, and they will pose a threat to the country of fire and Konoha next time. Hiruzen, let's give Kirigakure a color."
Danzo said loudly.
"In the last ninja world war, Konoha lost a lot of manpower, so it is not appropriate to go to war now."
Although relying on the funds provided by the fire country daimyo, Konoha's strength is recovering rapidly within a few years, coupled with the emergence of young geniuses, Konoha's current strength can be said to exceed that of the Second Ninja World War.
However, the strength of Kirigakure Village is still unknown. Since the first Ninja World War, Kirigakure Village has not been on the stage of a Ninja World War, but it does not mean that the strength of this Ninja Village will be weak.
"Hiruzen is right. We don't have absolute evidence. We can only rely on guesswork. Even morally, we don't make sense. It's easy to detonate a war."
Konoha has always paid attention to his reputation. Because of this good reputation and outstanding ninja quality, many big businessmen are willing to establish a cooperative relationship with Konoha and hire Konoha's ninjas to complete tasks.
If there is a conflict with Kirigakure Village for such an unwarranted reason, Konoha Village will suffer instead.
"You can think about the reason afterwards. You don't need to tell me the importance of the Byakugan. You can't let the Byakugan fall into the hands of the enemy. Otherwise, in the near future, the enemy will use the Byakugan to deal with us. We must prevent this from happening."
Danzo is determined and considers the future of the village.
"I'll think about it again."
Hiruzen frowned, Danzo's statement is also reasonable, and this kind of thing is likely to happen.
In previous wars, it was because of Hyuga's eyes that the rest of the Ninja Village had a headache.
If the enemy uses the same method to deal with them, it will be their headache instead.
However, the sudden hostility with Kirigakure Village... Konoha may end up in an embarrassing situation of being alone and helpless.
Hearing what Hiruzen said, Danzo and the two advisors knew that he would be fooled by him like mud.
However, this is also a more appropriate way to deal with it.
I can't find any evidence, and I don't know who did it. What if this is a trap set by others to make Konoha and Kirigakure turn against each other...
They also have to take this into account.
Compared with Danzo's suggestion, the two consultants are more inclined to deal with Hiruzen.
The village has used such a huge amount of manpower for the Hyuga clan to find the missing ninja of the clan, but suffering from evidence and doubts about the identity of the enemy, if there is no key evidence, it can only stop here.
Even the elders and patriarchs of the Hyuga clan had nothing to say.
It’s not that they don’t want to stand up for the Hyuga Clan. The premise is that there is sufficient evidence and the identity of the enemy who took Hyuga Fire Array abducted is confirmed before they can stand up for the Hyuga Clan.
◎
"Did Hokage-sama give up?"
In the meeting room of the Hyuga Clan, the contemporary patriarch and all the elders gathered here.
They are well aware of what the disappearance of Hyuga Fire Array means to the Hyuga clan.
The loss of Byakugan, this is a very heavy blow.
"The Anbu can't find any news, and the result is the same as the branch personnel we sent out to investigate. The identity of the enemy is a doubtful point, and there is no valid evidence, so it can only stop here."
An elder said more rationally.
"Last time, Hyuga Shingo also disappeared suddenly. This time, the Fire Array, and the two accompanying families... I always feel a little suspicious."
Another elder crossed his hands, showing a thoughtful look.
"Is there any connection between the two missing cases?"
"The time is less than a few days apart, so it looks suspicious no matter how you look at it?"
"That's true, but even the identity of the enemy cannot be determined, so we can only stop here."
Even though the elders hated the enemies who attacked the Hyuga clan very much, they couldn’t find any clues of doing these two things, and they didn’t know who to turn to if they wanted to vent their anger.
This kind of thing cannot be blamed on Hokage and other high-level leaders.
"I heard that Elder Danzo wants to stand up for our Hyuga clan..."
Hiashi’s father, who is also the contemporary patriarch of the Hyuga Clan, when he heard an elder say such words, his expression sank immediately, and he asked:
"Who did you listen to?"
"People outside are spreading it like this."
The elder lowered his head and said.
"In the future, we will not get involved with the people at the bottom. Moreover, let them handle the high-level affairs by themselves. We, the Hyuga clan, don't have to get involved in this kind of thing."
Patriarch Hyuga glanced at the elders, his tone serious.
That old guy in Danzo actually spread such rumors.
Is it for the next Hokage?
The Third Hokage is almost fifty years old, and it is indeed time to elect the next Hokage candidate.
It is not easy for the Hyuga clan to get to where they are today. They don't need to participate in any political struggles, they just need to be indifferent to the world.
Because no matter what generation Hokage is, they will never give up the eyes of the Hyuga clan.
As long as there are ninjas and war markets, the Hyuga clan will be firmly defended by Konoha.
This premise is not to involve any sensitive matters.
Especially Hokage.
"If anyone participates in the game between high-level officials, don't blame me for being ruthless. Don't fall into the bad habits of the Uchiha clan."
"yes!"
Two or three elders bowed their heads guiltyly, and the rest of the elders responded loudly.
"Continue to investigate the matter of the Fire Array. No matter what, you must give an explanation to the clan. Hiashi, this matter is left to you to handle. As before, I will not interfere and deal with it according to your ideas."
The Hyuga patriarch looked at the eldest son Hyuga Hiashi next to him, the future heir of the Hyuga clan, and said in a moderate tone.
In these years, he has not interfered too much with the affairs of the eldest son Hiashi. What he wants is a qualified Hyuga patriarch, not a puppet in his hand.
He will grow old one day, Hyuga's future will depend on these young people to maintain.
In any case, a qualified patriarch must have his own judgment of the situation, not just talk on paper.
All the elders saw this, and they also understood that the day when Hiashi would take over as the patriarch of the Hyuga clan was not far away.
"Yes, Father, I'll take care of this."
Hiashi solemnly nodded, and knew that if this matter was delayed, it would be a bit unfavorable for the family, so it must be uncovered as soon as possible.

Looking at the information passed by Ayane, Shiraishi is doing research on Sage arts.
"It seems that They don't plan to pursue Hyuga Fire Array's disappearance. It's okay, it saves me a lot of effort."
Even if the investigation continues, the time and manpower spent will be a relatively large number.
Moreover, there was no evidence left at the scene at that time.
Those ninjas who use Water Style just happened to replace Shiraishi as the object of suspicion by Konoha and Hyuga.
Although he was curious about the identities of those Water Style ninjas, Shiraishi didn't intend to delve into it further.
There is no need to deal with such trivial matters. All he wants is to untie the caged bird. Their identities are of no use to Shiraishi.
Whether it's Kirigakure's people or people from other Ninja villages, there's no need to take it to heart.
Burning this information on the alcohol lamp, Shiraishi began to concentrate on studying Sage arts.
