The moment he saw the mark on his forehead disappear, Hyuga Shingo understood that the "caged bird" that had troubled him for many years had completely become a thing of the past.
But there are still many doubts that have not been resolved.
"Are you confused? In fact, there is no need to be grateful to me. It just happened that you became one of my experimental subjects."
It seemed that Hyuga Shingo was in a confused and complicated state of mind, Shiraishi explained.
"Why would you..."
"Unlock caged bird?"
Hyuga Shingo understood Shiraishi's rhetorical question.
He is not unaware of Shiraishi. As Konoha's top ninja, Hatake Sakumo, his reputation is even higher than that of Sannin. Many people pay attention to Konoha's every move.
Even a wealthy family like Hyuga spoke highly of Sakumo Hatake and dared not neglect him in the slightest.
As one of the members of the former Sakumo team, even though Shiraishi is a completely inconspicuous and transparent figure in terms of status, a lot of information about him will be collected by others.
After all, medical ninjas don’t need to have high combat abilities, they only need to be proficient in medical ninjutsu.
Compared with regular ninjutsu, medical ninjutsu is more difficult to master.
Because it involves a lot of professional knowledge, and requires continuous practice and accumulated experience, the forming speed of a medical ninja is much slower than that of conventional ninjas.
"Is it for Ayane?"
As a genius of the younger generation of the Hyuga Clan, she was already the Jonin in the village at the age of sixteen, and one of the former members of Sakumo's team. It is impossible for Shingo not to know anything about it.
After all, that is also the genius of the branch family, not the genius of the main clan.
"Let's not talk about this, what are you going to do next?"
Shiraishi was not very interested in discussing this aspect, and instead asked about Shingo's future plans.
Intend?
The joy and excitement of Shingo being liberated from the 'caged bird' has slowly regained his composure and fell into deep thought.
What to do in the future?
"If there is no place to go, would you like to do something for me?"
"Do I have a choice?"
Shingo smiled wryly.
This boy who is about the same age as Ayane is not an ordinary guy.
He didn't know how Shiraishi cracked the caged bird, but he also knew how hard it was.
"It seems not. Because you return to the Hyuga clan now, you will definitely be tortured to extract a confession, and then executed. The release of the caged bird, for the Hyuga clan, your existence is already an extremely unstable bomb. It may even implicate your parents, your wife and children."
There is no need to remind Shiraishi of this kind of thing, and Shingo is also very clear.
After the caged bird is cracked, the Hyuga family will definitely be split.
The long-standing rule of the main family will be shaken, because among the branch families of the Hyuga clan, there are many people who don't want ugly marks on their foreheads.
Resentment, hostility, cannibalism.
At that time, the high-level Konoha will intervene.
Shingo doesn't know how they will choose to deal with the affairs of the Hyuga family.
Whether to help the main family or the branch family, or to balance the two parties, Konoha will have another Hyuga clan ruled by the original Hyuga branch family.
All of these things are possible.
As for taking refuge in other ninja villages, or wandering in the ninja world, let alone whether he can survive safely, what about his wife, parents and children? Are you staying in the Hyuga Clan?
If he brought them with him in the past, it is also a question of whether he can get out of the Hyuga clan.
Even if you escaped from the Hyuga Clan by chance, no matter how you leave Konoha and the Land of Fire, you will be blocked by Konoha ninjas and hunted by Anbu.
There is only one dead end.
"If I agree to be your subordinate, can I save my family?"
Shingo looked at Shiraishi with hopeful eyes.
Shiraishi gave him an affirmative answer, and said with a smile: "Of course. Because your family is in my hands, I can make you faithfully work for me without putting a curse on you."
Hearing what Shiraishi said, Shingo didn't know whether to be thankful or to smile wryly.
Forget it, at least this is much more free than before.
And living in this world, where is the real freedom?
"I will arrange for you to go to the country of demon. There is an organization I established there. You should be a security guard at the headquarters of the organization. You will not be allowed to appear in public view for the time being."
Shiraishi's few words determined the whereabouts of Shingo.
He has the strength of a ninja, and now he also has a Byakugan, so it is perfect to be a security officer in the organization headquarters.
At least the high-end combat power of the organization has been supplemented.
"Yes. Then my family..."
"Don't worry, I don't plan to leave Konoha for the time being. But it's coming soon, and I won't make you wait too long."
"Understood."
Shingo had no choice but to give up.
"By the way, in the Hyuga clan, there must be many branch ninjas who are hostile to the main clan. It will be of great use to me if you make a list of these people."
After listening, Shingo took a deep look at Shiraishi.
He didn't need to ask, he knew what Shiraishi was going to do next.
Sweep out all the branches of the Hyuga clan that are hostile to the main family.
•••
Among the Hyuga clan, Ayane was stopped by her colleague Fuyuma Hyuga just after she came back from the outside.
He frowned, and asked in a calm tone as much as possible:
"Ayane, what are you doing out there?"
"Why is Senior Fuyuma interested in my whereabouts?"
Ayane didn't answer, but just looked up at him, showing a gentle smile, not dissatisfied with Fuyuma's stiff attitude.
Rather, in terms of reception etiquette, she has always demanded perfection from herself.
"After all, you, like me, are the guards of Lord Haishi. We should try our best to avoid this kind of departure from duty."
"However, I have already asked Haishi-sama for leave, and Haishi-sama agreed."
"That's not the problem."
"This is a permission order from the future patriarch, isn't it the highest priority in the clan?"
Ayane asked with a smile.
Fuyuma was speechless.
"Senior Fuyuma, you need to know that from now on, the master of the Hyuga Clan will be Lord Haishi, not those elders. To be honest, they should retire. After all, they have worked hard for the family all their lives, and it's time to enjoy the blessings."
Ayane walked to Fuyuma's side, then stopped, and after saying this sentence, added another sentence:
"I seem to have caught a cold recently. It shouldn't be a problem to go out and buy some cold medicine, right? This is also to better protect Haishi-sama."
Ayane deliberately took out the cold medicine she bought.
Fuyuma lowered his head slightly and said, "Sorry, I offended you."
"No, the loyal Fuyuma senior has always been the goal I want to surpass. Please don't take my words to heart, the senior is a qualified Bodyguard."
Despite being praised so much by Ayane, Fuyuma felt that there was something in Ayane's words, but he couldn't figure out what Ayane wanted to express.
Because he knew that this woman's character was incompatible with the entire Hyuga clan.
Why does Haishi-sama treat her so special?
He knows that Ayane followed Haishi earlier than him, but the relationship between the two is not ambiguous at all, and the relationship is only at the level of superiors and subordinates.
I don't understand.
The setting sun gradually sinks, and it is evening.
Ayane gets off work on time.
Said to be Haishi's guard, the work is very boring, and it is almost impossible to encounter any assassination incidents in the Hyuga clan. It is better to strengthen the momentum of Haishi, the future patriarch.
It is more appropriate to call it tools and weapons.
Fuyuma still stayed because he was on night shift today.
Shortly after Ayane left, he came to Haishi and suggested to the future Hyuga patriarch, "Master Haishi, with all due respect, you are too indulgent with Ayane."
"Did the elders say this?"
Haishi asked without changing his expression.
"That's not the case, it's just that I personally think that Ayane is... very dangerous."
Fuyuma is indeed thinking about Haishi.
Because this is the future patriarch of the Hyuga Clan, as a Branch family, he should consider the safety of his master.
"You worry too much, even if there is an accident, won't you still be there?"
Haishi said so.
Fuyuma could only sigh.
No matter how much you persuade, you can't change all this.
No matter what, it is a good thing that the patriarch has his own considerations.
Fuyuma agrees with what Haishi said.
I am indeed too cautious. In terms of strength, Fuyuma has absolute confidence in being able to suppress Ayane who has just become a jonin.
Since I have absolute force in my hands, it's fine to restrict her when she shows her real self.
In this way, Haishi-sama will have nothing to say. Fuyuma thought to himself.
•••
"I'm back, Ayane, how is your work today?"
Mother has already prepared the meal, she calculated the time of Ayane's return and prepared dinner for her.
"It's okay, it's the same as usual."
Ayane smiled back.
Wash your hands in the kitchen and sit down to eat with your mother.
"Master Haishi is an excellent person, you must protect his safety, he is the hope of our Hyuga clan."
Ayane just nodded with a smile to express her understanding of her mother's earnest words.
Anyway, the hope of the family...every generation of patriarchs is like this.
The hope is too much.
But Ayane didn't expect her mother to give any decent advice.
It is estimated that she has already forgotten what the so-called freedom felt before being engraved as a bird in a cage, right?
But Ayane will not forget.
And as time went by, this desire became deeper and deeper, unable to extricate itself.
After dinner, Ayane took the initiative to do housework and helped wash the dishes. Whether she is a guard or a mother's daughter, she is impeccable in the eyes of outsiders.
After finishing the housework, Ayane returned to the room alone.
In this room, there is only one floor, a lamp, and an alarm clock. Other than that, there is no furniture.
Enough emptiness can allow her to find a sense of freedom.
She sat cross-legged on the floor, and took out the cold medicine that she went out to 'buy' in the afternoon.
It was the medicine Shiraishi gave her.
It is no different from common cold medicine, but the effect is completely different.
This is a drug developed to inhibit the activation of the caged bird curse seal.
There are twelve blue capsules in total.
Each capsule can suppress the curse mark of caged bird for four hours.
Can last forty-eight hours without being restricted by caged birds.
In the medicine box, there is also an instruction manual, which is the normal cold medicine instruction manual.
Ayane made a seal with both hands, using chakra to unlock the real content above, and finally touched the piece of paper with a finger to input natural energy.
The text on the manual began to change, and the order was rearranged and rearranged.
"Is it a short-term spell to prevent caged birds?"
What is recorded above is a technique for temporarily restricting caged birds.
You can set this technique on your brain nerves. When the bird in the cage is activated, this technique will be triggered. During the duration of the operation, a protective layer will be automatically formed in the nerves of the brain, greatly reducing the pain and destructive power caused by the bird in the cage.
"Still as careful, Shiraishi-kun."
Ayane smiled slightly.
Considering the accident, she was likely to be confined by the caged bird curse imprint on her brain before she could take the blue capsule, and died in pain.
And this technique is generated in the nerves of the brain, so it cannot fundamentally solve the curse mark of the bird in the cage, but it can greatly reduce the power of the bird in the cage.
At that time, after taking the blue capsule, it can last for forty-eight hours without being controlled by the curse mark of the bird in the cage.
During that time, just find Shiraishi to perform surgery to remove the caged bird.
The method of safely evacuating from Konoha is not difficult for them, and they have already secretly practiced it many times.
But this kind of accident, Ayane thinks it is unlikely to happen.
Because the members of the clan have no reason to do anything to her, a loyal branch ninja.
Use this kind of thing just in case.
"Do you still need to wait? I really hope it will come soon, the third Ninja World War..."
Ayane, who had no interest in war at first, also looked forward to the war coming soon.
I hope that the third Kazekage will not let them down.
Drag Konoha into the quagmire of war.
