Escape from konoha 73
🕑 Added 2023-09-09 11:20:15 +0000 UTCKonoha 40th, April (after three years)
Mount Myōboku.
The towering trees, the incredible stone statues and mushrooms are the characteristic landscape here.
The sounds of frogs and Worms are endless, giving people a strong sense of vitality.
"Minato boy, next I want to tell you something about Sage mode."
Sage Fukasaku, one of the two great sages of Mount Myōboku, said seriously to the blond boy sitting in front of him.
The blond boy is Konoha ninja Namikaze Minato.
As a disciple of Jiraiya, one of the three Sannin, he naturally signed a Summoning contract with Mount Myōboku, and he can choose to practice Sage arts that are more powerful than any jutsu in Mount Myōboku.
Minato had longed for Sage Mode for a long time, so when Sage Fukasaku said this, his expression was extremely solemn.
"yes."
"Sage Mode is the fuse between your chakra and the natural energy absorbed from the outside world. Once Trained successfully, Sage Mode can increase Genjutsu, Ninjutsu, and Taijutsu skills by several times or even more than ten times. You should know something about natural energy, right?"
"Yes, Jiraiya-sensei has already told me about natural energy."
Minato replied.
"That's good. If you want to practice Sage arts, you must learn to perceive natural energy. But don't underestimate the perception of natural energy. Some people can't reach the first stage of perceiving( feel or see) natural energy after ten years. For you humans, it is very difficult to perceive natural energy."
Sage Fukasaku knew that Minato was very talented, but since ancient times, more than 95% of the human beings who came to Mount Myōboku to practice Sage arts ended in failure.
"That is to say, Fukasaku Sage, Sage Art is a method everyone can know but not everyone can achieve it?"
"That's right. So when you humans are practicing Sage arts in Mount Miaomu, you will take some assistance. This is toad oil. Applying this on the body can strengthen the perception of natural energy."
Sage Fukasaku pointed to the oil pond next to him and said.
"I see."
Minato can't wait to enter the stage of Sage mode Training.
"By the way, Fukasaku Sage, where did Jiraiya-sensei go? After coming here, I haven't seen anyone else."
Before Minato learned senjutsu, he remembered something and asked.
"Little Jiraiya? He went to the great toad sage."
Sensei Fukasaku answered Minato's question.
Compared to Minato, Jiraiya has practiced Sage arts for many years, but due to the lack of effort in practicing Sage arts and limited talent, he is still in the initial stage of only being able to perceive natural energy.
Even at this stage, Jiraiya's ability to perceive natural energy is not effective every time.
Honestly speaking, Fukasaku Sensei almost wanted to give up on this idiot student Jiraiya.
Fortunately, he has accepted a disciple with more outstanding talent. He believes that with Minato's talent, the success rate of practicing Sage arts will be much higher than that of Jiraiya.
The most important thing is that Minato is a single-minded person, and he will never forget about important Training.
"Is the big toad a Sage?"
Minato looked at the shockingly large building in the distance.
His teacher was there since he came, communicating with the ruler of Mount Miaomu, the Great Toad Sage.
"A few years ago, the elder made a prophecy about the future of the ninja world. Little Jiraiya also seemed to be full of confidence, but his heart has actually become very impatient."
After all, it is a huge event involving the entire ninja world, and Konoha naturally cannot avoid that bad future. For Jiraiya, Konoha is a village that is more important than his own life and needs to be protected.
He must not allow that kind of thing to happen.
Sage Fukasaku has lived for nearly a thousand years, and has long since turned his back on the world.
Minato wisely didn't ask what the prophecy was. For him, it was too early to know such a thing.
Even if asked, Fukasaku Sage might not answer his question.
His purpose of coming to Mount Miaomu at this moment is only to get in touch with the first stage of Sage art, and to prepare for the perfect Training of Sage art in the future.
•••
The Land of Rain.
The rain fell like a pour, covering up the hustle and bustle of the world.
A group of people walked in the rain curtain, only hearing the sound of torrential rain, and the icy chill brought by the rain.
They passed by a village that had been dilapidated for a long time, and saw many dead bodies on the side of the road.
There are men and women, old people and children waiting to be fed. They are either starved to death or frozen to death.
A group of skinny wild dogs gathered around and bit the corpses, then they whimpered a few times and fell down.
Why this village was destroyed and by whom.
This kind of truth has long been unknown.
Because of this kind of cruelty, it is happening everywhere in the Kingdom of Rain.
It may be a passing ninja from a big country, or a wandering ninja from outside, or a bandit.
In short, there are too many possibilities.
If you really want to investigate the truth, you will get nothing more than these kinds of answers.
"No matter how you look at it, it looks like hell on earth..."
One of them said.
Passing through many places along the way, the impression of this country is only economic depression, internal chaos, banditry, and people displaced.
Desperate, Cry, Pain, Sad.
Like an unstoppable virus, it is raging arbitrarily in this country, ruthlessly harvesting lives.
"No way, this small country, even if the war is away for six or seven years, it is impossible to recover... Rather, after the war, this chaos has not diminished at all."
"The 'little girl' oppressed by a big country, lingering on the ground in naked clothes..."( Rain Village is oppressed by big counties fire, wind and earth.)
One of them smiled wryly.
Many years ago, he was also a member of this country.
To be honest, even as a former member of this country, he still hates this country and the system here.
Every day, people fight, kill, plunder, and die here.
"Speaking of which, what are our indicators for coming here?"
"Akatsuki."
"Ah, that rookie organization that has become very famous in the Land of Rain recently. I heard that they want to liberate the Land of Rain and achieve real peace."
One showed appreciation.
"They are just so-called wild bulls now. Although they are young people with beautiful dreams, they underestimate the cruelty of this ninja world. But no matter what, their will is worthy of recognition, and their dreams are also very good. Incorporating Akatsuki into our organization is an order given to us by the leader."
The leading ninja did not wear a forehead protector, but a pair of sharp eyes had penetrated through layers of rain and saw the person they were looking for not far away.
Crossing through this dilapidated village like a purgatory on earth, several people walked towards the front one, which was built around a path surrounded by mountains, and walked towards the bare mountain top.
They were wearing straw raincoats to keep out the wind and rain, and light yellow hats, with only a pair of eyes exposed.
"Found them."
"Hurry up and complete the task. The organization is in urgent need of fresh blood. After Akatsuki, there will be others to recruit."
Halfway up the mountain, seven or eight people got together to rest in the cave.
They are an organization called 'Akatsuki'.
It was established in the Land of Rain two years ago. The ninjas in the organization are also ninjas from the Land of Rain, but they are not affiliated with the official of Hidden Rain Village.
The members of this organization are mainly teenagers.
They talk freely about their beautiful dreams for the future in the organization. They want to change this crying country and bring real peace to this country.
But it is by no means a simple matter to end the various domestic turmoil caused by the war.
Even Hanzo of Rain Village does not have this ability.
Because the opening battlefield of the Second Ninja World War was set in the Land of Rain, the domestic economy has not recovered so far, and it is even more serious than a few years ago.
Furthermore, they also need to consider living problems and solve basic food and clothing problems.
They are determined to change the country, so they must lead by example and not burn, kill and loot.
So I can only look for the residents of the Land of Rain who need help, but due to the domestic economic downturn, those residents give very little rewards, and sometimes the rewards are only a few steamed buns.
But the Akatsuki people did not refuse because of this.
They always take the cheapest income and do the hardest work.
There is already too much darkness in this country, and it is good to bring a little bit of warmth and light.
"Yahiko, we have run out of ammunition and food now, when will there be a mission?"
A member of Akatsuki cried to the leader—a teenage boy named Yahiko.
"You people, listen carefully. The ninjas must not only learn to endure pain, but also endure hunger. What is hunger? Look at me, I don't feel hunger at all."
After speaking, the boy named Yahiko's stomach growled louder than the others.
Yahiko blushed suddenly.
The rest of the people laughed loudly, and the somewhat tragic atmosphere was dispelled a lot.
It's not that they really can't persevere. After all, when Akatsuki was first built, it was much more difficult than this kind of predicament.
At least they still have a skill now, have gained a reputation, and can help their country more.
One day, there will be sunshine after the rain.
All of them believed in that day.
This country will be illuminated by light.
This belief taught them to be strong and patient. When the time comes, their knowledge will definitely resound throughout the world and truly change this poor country.
Let the people here no longer be insensitive, no longer suffering, no longer shed tears.
mere hunger...
Immediately, stomach growling sounds rose and fell in the cave.
"Brother Yahiko is right, a ninja must endure everything, and hunger is nothing!"
"oh!"
The rest of the people agreed and got along happily.
A cute girl with blue hair was making origami, looking at this group of companions who were all pretending to be smiling, she also smiled.
Sitting silently in a remote place, the unobtrusive red-haired boy also smiled from the bottom of his heart.
To change this country, and to bring true peace, is not only their dream, but also their mission.
Even if the country is poor and suffering, it is still their motherland.
They will never abandon this country.
No matter how painful the days are, there will be a day when you get through it.
Just as they were talking and laughing, footsteps came into the cave.
Akatsuki's ninjas all looked serious and looked towards the entrance of the cave.
It was able to approach here without a sound, and it was only discovered now... No, it must be the footsteps that were exposed on purpose.
The incoming person is very powerful.
There are five people standing at the entrance of the cave.
Wearing a rain-stained coir raincoat and a wet hat, with only his eyes exposed, he looked at Akatsuki Ninjas silently.
"Who are you guys?"
As the leader, Yahiko took the initiative to stand up, showing a hearty smile, as if there was no hostility due to the strange aura of the five people.
"Are you the leader of Akatsuki?"
Ninja, the leader of the five, asked softly.
He took off the bamboo hat on his head, revealing an unfamiliar male face, about thirty years old, with withered white hair.
"Yes. I am Yahiko, Akatsuki's leader."
Yahiko observed this white-haired ninja, with no aura in his body, and his strength was well hidden.
That man is strong.
"Nice to meet you."
The white-haired ninja smiled, and extended his hand friendly.
Yahiko was taken aback for a moment, then smiled and stretched out his hand, shaking him.
"Although it's a bit presumptuous, are you..."
"Just call me Worm Man."
Worm Man, what a weird name. Yahiko didn't know whether to complain or not.
"Mr. Worm Man came to see us for something?"
"Yes, we want your power."
The worm man directly stated his purpose of coming, his eyes were very solemn, and he did not hide it.
Yahiko and the rest of Akatsuki were stunned.
"You can tell...what do you mean..."
A Akatsuki ninja frowned and asked.
"The five of us belong to an organization. The leader of our organization is very interested in you, Akatsuki. After learning about what you have done in the Land of Rain, he wants to invite you guys to join the organization."
After a short silence, Yahiko shook his head, smiled politely and said: "Sorry, we Akatsuki have no intention of joining other organizations."
Akatsuki's other ninjas also nodded, agreeing with Yahiko's point of view.
As soon as they came up, they were asked to join an organization that they didn't know the details of. No matter how you look at it, things are full of abnormalities.
"Don't want to hear about our conditions?"
He never thought that Akatsuki would submit to him just by speaking out loud.
"condition?"
"Yes. The leader knows that you want to change this impoverished country. He will give you weapons and food, and even quell the chaos in this country."
"Then what do we need to pay?"
"Because the organization's base is not in the Country of Rain, after joining, you need to temporarily leave the Country of Rain and come back at the right time to reform the country. At that time, you can mobilize the organization's armed forces, food, and even more resources. I can assure you of this."
The worm man looks like a businessman, without any personal emotions.
It is just to express the original meaning of the order issued by the leader of their organization.
"Although it is very attractive, please forgive us for declining. We will not abandon this country."
Yahiko said categorically.
"It's not for you to abandon the country of rain, but for you to go to our organization to learn advanced technology and important ideas, and then bring them back to change this poor country."
"That is no different from abandoning. Now is the time, when the country needs us most, and we will not leave."
After Yahiko finished speaking, he just looked at the worm man.
After being silent for a minute, the worm man gave a wry smile, and sighed, "Well, everyone has their own aspirations, and we won't force them. These are just greetings."
As he spoke, he took out a scroll and put it on the ground.
"This is?"
"There are some food and winter supplies sealed inside. I know you don't want to accept other people's charity, but remember, this is not charity. It is not the public funds of our organization, it is my personal support to you."
Yahiko looked at the man in surprise.
The worm man looked at the heavy rain outside and sighed faintly: "I used to be a member of this country, but I am also a member of the organization, so I can't act emotionally. Therefore, this is not my charity to you, but just a trivial return to my past motherland."
Yahiko and the others were slightly moved.
Yahiko took a step forward and said: "In this case, then join us, let's change this country together."
After Yahiko finished speaking, the Worn man and the other four looked at Yahiko, their eyes revealing the meaning of rejection.
The worm man pondered for a while and said: "Although your dreams are good, I don't think you have the power to change this country. You haven't realized what the core essence of the matter is... let's stop here. We should go too, there are other tasks to do."
The worm man turned around and planned to leave.
"Wait!"
Yahiko called him to stop.
"Anything else?"
"Who is your leader?"
Yahiko asked seriously.
The worm man paused, smiled and said, "I can't tell you his real name. If you have a chance to meet our leader, you can just call him 'doctor'."
After finishing speaking, he left here with his four companions, leaving everyone in Akatsuki with astonished faces.
doctor?
Who is that?
I have never heard of this character in the ninja world.
"Codename?"
Yahiko touched his chin and thought.
Obviously, this is not a person's name, but a code name used internally by his own people.
Then, Yahiko picked up the scroll left by the worm man, and the rest of the people also looked curious.
Afterwards, Yahiko spread out the scroll, and after checking that there was no problem, he unlocked the spell on it.
They saw sealed heavy wooden boxes, about a dozen of them.
Opening one of them, I was stunned by the full amount of food inside, and began to swallow my saliva.
Not just food, but also many medicines and excellent ninja tools.
For Akatsuki Akatsuki, this is undoubtedly a timely help.
"Brother Yahiko, how do you want to distribute it?"
"Take some of it, and share the rest with those who cannot afford to eat."
Yahiko also covets these grains, but compared to them, there are more people who need these supplies to survive this year.
The rest of the people have no objection. They are used to this kind of hard life. If they want to enjoy happiness, they would have left this country long ago and gone to other countries to find a stable job. There will absolutely be no problem with food and clothing.
••••
After separating from Akatsuki, the five of them went down the mountain along the circular road.
The five people on the road didn't say a word. Although they had expected that Akatsuki's people would probably not join their organization, they still felt a lot of regret.
They also want to change this country, but they can't do anything with their blood.
Moreover, it is not enough to make this country peaceful.
Peace is only the basis for development.
Akatsuki's strength is too fragile.
I hope they can understand this truth after being beaten to death by the hammer of reality.
They have done their best to help here.
"They will distribute most of the supplies to the people of the Land of Rain."
One person broke the silence.
"Ah, a temporary charity can't change anything. After this year, what will they do next year? They haven't realized what they really need to change this country. Compared to finding out what's missing in the current Rain Country, what they need is to sink their hearts into learning and awaken the numb hearts of the people of the Rain Country, rather than being intoxicated with charity and compassion for a while."
The worm man exhaled, and issued a ruthless sentence.
"A country that relies on the pity and charity of others will not become rich and strong. It will only become weaker and weaker, and the people will also become weaker. Now their vision, their limit, is here."
Several people communicated while walking.
Suddenly one of them stopped abruptly, stretched out his fist and directly smashed the rock wall next to him. With a scream, a strange human-shaped creature whose whole body seemed to be covered in white paint was violently pulled out of the wall by him, and strangled him by the throat.
"You guy, you were able to find me—"
The white humanoid creature looked at the ninja who dragged himself out of the rock wall in amazement and strangled his throat like lightning.
Before he finished speaking, there was a click, his throat was crushed, and he died.
"What's this?"
"Who knows, he has been monitoring us before... No, the guy monitoring Akatsuki he is Akatsuki's enemy?"
The male ninja who dragged the white creature out of the rock wall was not sure about the identity of this weird humanoid creature.
"It doesn't look like a normal human, a modified human? It's very similar to some of the doctor's modified creatures, but this life force is much stronger than ordinary people, and it still remains in the body after death..."
The worm man squatted down, with a look of scrutiny in his eyes.
"Take it back and show it to the doctor. He has always been interested in this kind of weird creature that looks like a human being."
The opinion of the worm man got the nod of the other four people.
At this moment, the land in front of it began to rise abruptly. It was a protruding object that looked like a human head, with a pair of black eyes that looked like black holes.
A light golden light emerged from the eyes of the black hole, which was not dazzling.
The sticky mouth and the head are made of mud, and there is a deep and thick sound coming from the mouth.
The five people saw that the weirder clay creature did not show any fear, but knelt down on one knee and saluted the creature.
Its exposed head is just a part of a complete creature.
The worm man smiled, and said to the clay figure in front of him: "Long time no see, lord General Earth. Does the doctor have any new orders?"
(PS: The ability of the protagonist can finally be officially displayed. In addition to earth, there are also various types of wind, thunder, water, fire, etc…)
