Escape from konoha 71
🕑 Added 2023-09-09 07:23:08 +0000 UTCThe war between Sand Village and Konoha has lasted for two years, but compared to Sand Village, Konoha's war weariness is very strong.
Before starting the battle with Sand Village, Konoha had already fought with Rain Village ninjas in the Land of Rain. Many ninjas were already physically and mentally exhausted.
So, when the 3rd Kazekage handed in the settlement document, according to Shiraishi's estimate, there is a high possibility that Konoha would agree.
After all, this is also the main strategy Konoha has always adopted.
Continuing fighting with Sand Village will only benefit other ninja villages.
"Really, it's already reached this level. It's enough to defeat Sand Village in one go. If Konoha signs the settlement letter like this without making them pay, they will still make a comeback in the future."
Ruri sat on a rock with dissatisfaction on her face.
It has only been more than a month since she came out of the village, and she hasn't enjoyed fighting the sand ninjas yet. If the war ends at this time, the mission of Sakumo's team will also be over.
"You can't say that, because the ninjas in many villages in the camp have become war-weary, and Sand Village is almost the same. At this time, it will end peacefully, which is good for both parties. As for the future... Let's talk about it later."
Based on considerations that a Konoha ninja should have, Shiraishi believes that this is indeed the best solution.
"Great, I thought I wouldn't be able to go back to the village to celebrate the New Year this year. After all, I'm still looking forward to this year's festival."
Ayane said with a smile on the side.
Shiraishi turned his head to the other side, as if he didn't hear this sentence.
"It's true, the war will end soon, and you can go back to participate in the New Year's festival... And, I also want to go back and visit Kakashi."
Sakumo also said with a smile when he heard the three of them communicating there.
"Kakashi?"
The three of them were attracted by this name.
"Ah, didn't I tell you guys?"
Sakumo blinked in doubt.
"No, I haven't heard of this person at all. By the way... who is he?"
Shiraishi shook his head.
"He is my son, Hatake Kakashi. Although he is only two years old this year, I believe he will be an excellent ninja in the future."
Sakumo said so.
"son!?"
The three of them were stunned, and they said loudly.
There is no way to describe this matter in terms of surprise. Sakumo had a son, and they had never heard of it.
"What, is there something wrong?"
Sakumo looked at the three of them strangely.
"No... I thought, Sakumo-Sensei, you are still single. I didn't expect that you were not only married, but also had a son..."
Ayane quickly explained.
Shiraishi and Ruri also nodded one after another.
"Sorry, I thought I mentioned this already."
"It's okay, I was just a little surprised when I heard it suddenly. After all, this is a personal matter. Before graduating from ninja school, we had no contact with Sakumo-sensei. So, Sakumo-sensei's son is already two years old... Hatake Kakashi is a very good name."
Ayane smiled.
But I was thinking in my heart: What kind of name should I give to mine and Shiraishi's child in the future?
"Speaking of which, being a father is a bit dereliction of duty. When my child's birthday was in September, I couldn't go back to the village to celebrate his birthday. In a blink of an eye, it is now November."
"There is still a chance next year, and it will be good for Sakumo-Sensei to treat me then."
Shiraishi laughed.
The corner of Sakumo's mouth twitched. Speaking of treats, he seemed to suddenly recall some bad memories.
He didn't want to be on the verge of bankruptcy on his son's birthday.
"Really? That's great, I'll go there on an empty stomach that day. Get ready, Sakumo-Sensei."
Ayane smiled and confirmed the matter.
Sakumo sighed, his wallet seemed to be lost, and then he looked at Ruri.
"Don't look at me like that. It's your son's birthday party. Wouldn't it be rude if I were to pay for it? After all, you are the Famous White Fang."
No, I don't care about saving face. Hearing Ruri's ruthless rejection, Sakumo complained in his heart.
•••
Two days later, Konoha and Sand Village formally concluded a settlement agreement and signed an armistice agreement.
The weather is clear and sunny.
Sakumo's team set off to return to the Konoha Camp on the border of the Land of Fire.
The armistice agreement was signed at nine o'clock in the morning.
It's four o'clock in the afternoon.
That is to say, the truce agreement with Sand Village has been signed, and this news should have been sent back to the camp, and will be sent back to the village as quickly as possible.
However, when they returned to the camp at five o'clock in the afternoon, the four members of Sakumo's team felt something was wrong.
Too dull.
It's more like grief.
The four of them looked at each other, not knowing what happened.
Although knowing that the war is over, some people will definitely be sad, but it is not so dull.
In this dullness, there is also an anger and murderous intent that wants to devour everything.
"What's going on here?"
"I don't know, what happened?"
Shiraishi stroked his chin and began to think.
Is there something wrong with the agreement?
Could it be that Sand Village did not intend to fulfill the agreement?
Otherwise it is impossible to explain all this.
"You are also a medical ninja, hurry up go to the medical department, there is an urgent shortage of manpower!"
At this moment, a Konoha ninja quickly ran over and said to Shiraishi anxiously.
Shiraishi looked at Sakumo, who nodded, and Shiraishi followed the ninja to the camp where the medical troops were.
"You guys take a break here, I'll go find Orochimaru to find out about the situation."
Ruri and Ayane nodded, and followed Sakumo's instructions.
—The camp where the medical troops are located.
Tragic!
It can only be described as tragic.
Dozens of Konoha ninjas fell in the tent, with blood all over their bodies. The roar of pain like a ghost made Shiraishi lose his mind for a while.
How did this happen?
These injuries should be caused recently... no, today, right?
What happened?
Shiraishi didn't ask, and immediately followed a medical ninja with superb medical ninjutsu. All these dozens of ninjas needed emergency surgery.
And during the first aid process, there must be some seriously injured people who could not be taken care of, and died directly because they could not bear the pain.
The sound of weeping and wailing merged in one place.
Every medical ninja is sweating profusely and has no time for extra communication.
First aid ended after two hours.
It’s not that the first aid was successful. It ended so early because many people died before the operation was too late.
Some were rescued by surgery, but still died.
Only a dozen people pulled back from the gate of hell.
“We did our best.”
The attending medical ninja patted Shiraishi on the shoulder, as if he was worried about the psychological burden of a young medical ninja like him, and comforted him.
"Well, senior, what is going on? Why did it become like this?"
Shiraishi finally asked the question he most wanted to ask.
The medical ninja in charge knew that Shiraishi was the medical ninja following Sakumo, so it was only natural that he didn't know the situation here.
"We don't know the specifics. We just know that the mission that signed the armistice agreement with Sand Village was attacked by unknown people on the way. When they came back, they were already like this."
The attending medical ninja said with a sad face.
"What happened to the armistice agreement? Was it Sand Ninja's doing?"
"I don't know about it. But this time we lost a lot. I heard that even jounin Kato dan was sacrificed."
"Kato dan?"
Shiraishi was taken aback, this surname, and it’s Jonin, could it be...
"Lady Tsunade's mood is very unstable now. Kato dan sacrifice has hit her too hard."
The attending medical ninja sighed.
"Jonin Kato dan is so powerful, how could..."
shiraishi couldn't understand it.
Kato Dan is Tsunade's current boyfriend. Although his reputation cannot be compared with that of Sakumo who has the name of White Fang, he is also one of the few elite Jonin in Konoha. In one-on-one situations, he may not be worse than Sannin.
After all, the power of spiritualization is terrifying.
Moreover, it also has a wide range of perception capabilities. It is very easy to break out and find weak points to escape.
"In order to cover the evacuation of his companions, he chose to fight the enemy alone. When the support arrived , he was already... dead! Master Tsunade tried her best, but she failed to save Kato Jonin's life."
"Is that so?"
shiraishi sighed.
Although he doesn't know Kato Dan, this selfless act of saving his companions will make people admire his spirit from the bottom of his heart no matter from what standpoint.
In this age, life is not something to be happy about, and death is not something to be sad about.
This is the current Status of Ninja World.
He can know Tsunade's pain, but he can't experience that pain himself.
The joys and sorrows of human beings are not shared.
Because he is not familiar with Kato Dan, he can only feel sad for Tsunade.
The death of the younger brother Nawaki, the sacrifice of the boyfriend Kato Dan... Since then, she has not recovered...
No, no matter how you say it is Sannin, it shouldn’t be like this, right?
Shiraishi thought so, but he didn't have much confidence in it.
People are emotionally fragile creatures after all.
Shiraishi saw that there was nothing to do in the medical team, so he left here to join Sakumo and the others at their residence.
Sakumo and Others were already waiting there, talking about something.
"Sakumo-Sensei, I'm back. What's the matter? I heard that unknown people attacked the ninja mission that was going to sign an armistice agreement with Sand Ninja."
"That's true. Not only that, Orochimaru was also seriously injured. If Kato Dan hadn't resolutely chosen to cut off the rear, it is very likely that everyone who went to sign the armistice agreement would be surrounded by the enemy, and the entire army would be wiped out."
Sakumo briefly explained what he learned from Orochimaru.
"It's really outrageous, no matter what, you must maintain the highest vigilance."
Ruri had an angry look on her face.
After all, there are lessons learned from this kind of thing. During the first ninja world war, when the second Hokage of konoha Village and the second Raikage of Cloud Village signed an armistice agreement, they encountered the radical leader of the radical group, Gold and Silver Brothers of Cloud Village, and led a large number of Cloud Village jonin raids.
Second Raikage was killed on the spot by Gold and Silver Brothers at the scene of signing the armistice agreement.
This is all because of too much trust in the enemy.
With the lessons learned from Second Hokage, we should be more cautious when signing the armistice agreement.
Who knew that Orochimaru, the commander, was seriously injured, and only half of the hundreds of Konoha ninjas came back.
The one who sacrificed the most was Kato Dan. In order for Orochimaru to lead the Konoha troops to evacuate, Kato dan alone Stayed behind, he fought the enemy to the death.
"Now is not the time to blame anyone, has the enemy's identity been found out?"
Shiraishi looked at Sakumo.
Sakumo sighed, shook his head and said: "No. Their ninjutsu genre is very complicated. It is said that one of them is very powerful, and he seems to be immortal. He can be resurrected after being killed once. Because of this ability, many of our companions were caught off-guard, and he killed several Jōnin at once."
"Who is he?"
"I have no idea."
The three of them frowned slightly.
It is impossible for such a powerful character to be unknown in the ninja world with the ability to be immortal.
How could you not know?
"Maybe a bounty hunter from the black market."
Sakumo wasn't quite sure, Which ninja was attacking the Konoha ninja on this mission, but guessed that the other party might be a ninja rampaging in the black market.
It was a truly Underground world where the ninja preyed on the ninjas, and there were many powerful but not very famous ninjas in it.
The ninja who attacked the Konoha Mission this time fits the image of this kind of black market high-strength ninja.
"Underground black market? It will be very difficult to investigate that way, was he hired by Sand Ninja?"
Shiraishi has also heard of such a Underground world.
The bounty hunters that exist in the Underground side of the ninja world, rampant in the black market, are either defected ninjas or samurai. Although there is a lot of garbage, there are also really powerful ones.
The underground black market is complex, and every country has a stronghold of this organization, deeply rooted in the ninja world.
"It's just possible, but we don't have any evidence to prove it. But before we came back, the 3rd Kazekage sent an envoy to condemn us for not keeping the appointment on time, and whether we intend to continue this war."
This incident made many Konoha ninjas angry.
In the eyes of many Konoha ninjas, it was the sand ninjas behind the scenes who ambushed their mission this time.
If Orochimaru hadn't stopped him, the sand ninja envoy would have been torn to pieces by many Konoha ninjas.
The three of them were a little dull after hearing this, and could understand the anger of those Konoha ninjas.
Judging from the current situation, it is very possible that Sand village turned back and planned to catch Konoha by surprise.
However, these are all conjectures, and there is no conclusive evidence to prove that this was done by sand ninjas.
Really aggrieved.
"What does the village say?"
"The village just got the news, because the matter is so important, the higher-ups will definitely have to argue endlessly, and the exact order may not come down until three or four days later."
This is the most conservative time.
Now it's a fight or a peace, it just depends on the decision of the top management.
Shiraishi has no objection to this, he is not interested in war in the first place, and how Konoha's senior management controls the situation has nothing to do with him.
•••
"Peace talks?"
Three days later, the order of the high-level meeting came down.
Peace talks with Sand Village.
This made many ninjas in the Konoha camp frown.
But the high-level officials gave an explanation—the ambush of the Konoha mission, which resulted in the failure of the signing of the truce agreement between Konoha and Sand Village, was all a conspiracy by Rock Village.
The unidentified ninja who ambushed the Konoha mission was hired by Rock Village from the black market.
At this time, Konoha and Sand Village continue to wage war, and they will only fall into the trap carefully designed by Rock Village together with Sand Village.
Therefore, it is necessary to sign an armistice agreement with Sand Village to guard against Rock Village.
"What's going on, Orochimaru?"
Asked in an incomprehensible way.
Orochimaru took out another piece of information and said: "This is important information collected by the Anbu. Two days ago, there was a small-scale conflict between Sand Village and Rock Village ninjas in the country of bears."
"Sand Village and Rock Village...they?"
Jiraiya looked at Orochimaru inexplicably.
Orochimaru replied: "After Sand Village's supplies were destroyed by Sakumo, Sand Village cooperated with Rock Village, hoping that Rock Village would help them with some supplies. Rock Village also agreed to Sand Village's request, but when transferring the supplies two days ago, the supplies that Rock Village promised to Sand Village were only one-twentieth of the agreed supplies. A conflict broke out between the two parties."
Jiraiya still frowned, feeling that something was wrong.
"Whether it's the 3rd Tsuchikage who is making the layout, or the 3rd Kazekage making the layout, or the two of them working together to plot against Konoha, this matter is no longer important."
"How could it be unimportant, kato sacrificed himself to-"
"Don't yell here, too many people died in the war, kato a real ninja, that's all."
Orochimaru didn't want to hear Jiraiya yelling in front of him, he was very disturbed now.
"Continuing the peace talks with Sand Village is a unanimous decision of the high-ranking officials. After all, if we continue to fight, we will not be facing the Sand Village, but also Rock Village."
The words, "It's not worth fighting with Sand and Rock Village at the same time for one Kato Dan" still couldn't come out of his mouth.
But Orochimaru believes that this is the fact.
The mastermind behind the previous ambush mission is probably Sand Village.
But Orochimaru is not very clear why they ambush Konoha once before the end of the war, and even recruited Tsuchikage to perform this scene, so that Konoha dare not move around at will.
"What is that Kazekage thinking about?"
•••
"It's like doing some kind of warm-up exercise before the battle to slowly heat up the atmosphere."
"warm up?"
There were only two people in the tent, and Ayane looked at Shiraishi with a puzzled expression, not knowing why he would say such words.
"The one who ambushed the Konoha Mission before was undoubtedly that Kazekage. Even if he didn't hire him, this strategy must have come from him."
"Is there any basis?"
"The warm-up exercise I mentioned is the basis. Before the end of this war, annihilating some of Konoha's elite ninjas is tantamount to weakening Konoha's power."
"But... If the high-level side decides to continue the war, wouldn't things backfire?"
Ayane asked back.
"So I dragged Rock Village in. This is the situation in the eyes of Konoha's high-level people - Sand Village's original intention was to continue fighting with Konoha, because they got supplies from Rock Village, and they could continue to fight. But after annihilating the Konoha Mission, Rock Village suddenly cut down the original supplies, causing Sand Village to lose the ability to continue to fight. In this way, in the eyes of Konoha senior management, Sand Village was played by Rock Village."
"The higher-ups won't be fooled by such a simple strategy."
"It doesn't matter whether you are fooled or not. The important thing is whether you have the ability to fight with the two villages, Sand Village and Rock Village at the same time. The point is that the Konoha executives have no plans to go to war with the two ninja villages at the same time. This is a naked conspiracy."
Although Konoha has this ability, the sacrifice would be even greater.
Shiraishi does not think that Konoha’s high-level executives have such determination and will sacrifice Konoha’s development in the next ten years to break out of war with Sand Village and Rock Village.
It is obvious that the two villages have already collided together.
Or the Rock Village was also used by that Kazekage.
Iwahim did not cooperate with Sand Village in acting, but Sand Village was acting unilaterally for everyone to see, fooling other people's attention and shifting the focus of the problem.
"Warming up exercise? It's really an apt description."
If what Shiraishi said is true, Ayane thinks the word warm-up exercise is very appropriate.
Annihilating the Konoha Mission and letting Rock Village cooperate with acting is a warm-up exercise for the next more ferocious attack on the Nation of Fire.
That is to say, a few years after the end of this war, Sand Village will definitely make a comeback again. Under the leadership of that third Kazekage, the offensive will be even more ferocious than this time.
Thinking that Shiraishi said a long time ago that after the end of the Second Ninja World War, the third Ninja World War will not be too long, and it will still revolve around the country of fire where Konoha is located, so I can't help admiring it.
At that time, it was indeed the best time to leave Konoha.
•••
Sand Village Camp.
"Is this your future development plan, Kazekage-sama? It's really amazing! No one must be able to think of Kazekage-sama's true intentions."
Surrounded by Sand jonin's confidants, Jonin, after learning the entire planning process, they all showed admiration for 3rd Kazekage.
Rock village, Konoha Village, the two villages were played around by their respected Kazekage-sama.
Konoha is even more miserable. After so many people got killed, they still have to sign an armistice agreement with them.
Rock Village is indeed planning to use Sand Village to continue the war with Konoha.
The reduction of the supplies that were originally promised to Sand Village was also a real occurrence, not a fraud.
It's just that this point was also taken advantage of by the third Kazekage.
Rock Village secretly rejoiced, and the conflict between Sand village and Konoha village deepened.
On the Konoha side, I think that Sand Village and Rock Village have collided together long ago. This is a trap for Konoha, and they cannot move around at will. It is necessary to continue to sign an armistice agreement with Sand Village to prevent Sand Village and Rock Village from jointly attacking the Nation of Fire.
"In the next few years, we will make good use of the rich resources we have obtained from the land of fire this time to train more outstanding ninjas for the village and prepare for the next war in a few years. Also in order to build a prosperous era that belongs to us, the sand, please join me in encouraging each other."
3rd Kazekage stood up from his seat, his tone was full of confidence and meant to encourage his subordinates.
"Yes! We will follow you until death!"
These Shinobi's also stood up from their seats one after another, looking at 3rd Kazekage with fanatical eyes.
It seems that a few years later, under the leadership of Kazekage, they once again opened the gap in the Kingdom of Fire to plunder more and better resources.
The era of Sand Village's will come soon.
