Escape from konoha 40
🕑 Added 2023-08-31 12:09:47 +0000 UTC"Hatake Sakumo asked for additional manpower, what do you think?"
In the meeting room in the Hokage Building, 3rd Hokage Sarutobi Hiruzen mentioned Sakumo's request for additional manpower.
"With his strength, isn't it enough to deal with the lurking enemies in the Kingdom of Fire?"
Consultant Utatane Koharu frowned, obviously not satisfied with Hatake Sakumo's request for additional staff.
"The opponents are two elite Jounin from the Sunagakure Puppet Unit. There are three other Jounin in the team, and one of them can use the large-scale Earth Release Technique."
"But there is no direct evidence to prove that he is an Iwagakure shinobi."
Utatane Koharu said.
Sarutobi Hiruzen shook the pipe in his hand, and said, "I don't think Onoki will do nothing at this time, and we can't make a conclusion on this matter just because there is no task change in Rock Village."
Consultant Mitokado Homura glanced at Hiruzen.
"So when the 3rd Kazekage enters the battlefield, You sat in the village, just to prevent other villages from getting involved and making the battlefield even more chaotic."
"Then what are you going to do? We can't believe the Uchiha Guards. Danzo is not in the village at this time, he is leading Roots to carry out secret missions. It is already an extremely risky thing for us to use two teams of Anbu that are only left in the village."
Mitokado Homura's eyes reveal the meaning of inquiry.
"Homura is right. In the past, no matter how critical it was, 3 teams of Anbu would always stay in the village. Now only 2 teams of the Anbu are left, which is a gamble in itself."
Utatane Koharu also has no sense of trust in Uchiha.
"Uchiha is also a member of Konoha, we should not be prejudiced against them, they are members of Kagami's Clan."
Hiruzen continued to spit out a smoke ring with a solemn expression.
Handing over the work of the Security to the Uchiha clan is an arrangement made by his late Sensei, Second Hokage Senju Tobirama.
There are many reasons for this. On the one hand, it is out of fear, and on the other hand, it wants to limit Uchiha's power to the guard.
Because of the work of the guard team, only the Uchiha clan has the ability to do it.
The work of the Uchiha Guard is remarkable. Although there are indeed some people with abnormal brains who like to cause trouble, there are also some Uchiha ninjas who really want to maintain Konoha's internal security.
Hiruzen felt that he could not beat everyone to death with a single stick.
Besides, his sensei also wanted to fully integrate the Uchiha clan into Konoha, rather than excluding them.
It is a pity that when the first Ninja World War broke out at that time, his Sensei died on the battlefield, which caused Uchiha's affairs to end.
In recent years, everyone can only waste money.
With the efforts of his Hokage, the relationship has indeed eased, but there is not much substantial progress.
"Kagami is Kagami, Uchihas are Uchihas, they exist at different levels. Among the Uchihas, there are many Uchiha ninjas who inherit Uchiha Madara's radical thinking. People of this family are potentially dangerous."
After all, the consultants don’t believe in Uchiha, or in other words, they don’t believe in the Uchiha ninja who has the power of curse and awakens Sharingan.
"Then make a compromise and divide into 2 squads of Anbu. Only by getting rid of the rats in the Land of Fire , Sakumo can go to the battlefield and counterattack Sand ninja."
"But…"
"If there is anything abnormal about Uchiha, I will personally take action to resolve the chaos, so that you can feel at ease."
Hiruzen had an inviolable and powerful aura, even Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu felt unprecedented oppression.
This also tells Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu in disguise that with him as Hokage, no matter what happens to Uchiha, he will stay on the site honestly and do what the security team should do, and there will never be any problems.
This kind of self-confidence from the bottom of his heart is deeply written on Hiruzen's face.
"Since you have said so, Hiruzen, then you have to do it."
"Uchiha's affairs must not be careless, they are born evil, and we must always be on guard."
In the end, Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu still reminded Hiruzen, and then put aside the question about Uchiha for the time being.
"In addition, the supply from the village to the front line is insufficient. Koharu and I need to go to the Daimyo Mansion to discuss with the Daimyo and collect supplies there."
Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu looked at each other, and it was Homura who spoke.
"Lack of supplies again?"
Hiruzen stopped smoking.
"Yes, medical supplies are the most lacking here, but there are enough military food pills and ninja tools."
"Go fast and come back fast."
Any ninja needs a handwritten letter from Hokage to leave the village. Even a consultant must get a handwritten letter from Hokage before They can leave the village.
Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu got the written letter from Hiruzen so that they could leave the village.
After getting the letter they left the meeting room.
•••
A sentry point in the north of Konoha, there are about 20 Konoha ninjas guarding it, which can be used as a temporary supply station for Sakumo's team.
Fortunately, there is a simple infirmary inside this outpost.
Shiraishi carried the seriously injured Konoha ninja found in another sentry point on his back, and entered the new sentry point infirmary to rest.
Although he still looks unconscious, he is out of danger, which is a blessing in misfortune.
Ruri and Ayane negotiated with the Konoha ninja at the sentry point there, and getting supplies, food, water, and medical supplies were the top priorities.
Soon, Shiraishi and others were ready.
Sakumo put away the scroll in his hand and said: "There is good news. Hokage-sama has agreed to send additional helpers, who are experts in investigation. But we can't relax here. Now that the supplies are ready, let's go straight away."
"yes!"
Shiraishi and the other agreed, and followed Hatake Sakumo to act again.
Currently they are in the southern central region of the Land of Fire, and the next route they will follow is to set off to the east of the Land of Fire.
It is adjacent to the neighboring country named Land of hot water , a country famous for its hot springs.
If it wasn't during the war, you can go there to enjoy it. As for now, the task is still the most important.
After patrolling for two days in a row, they didn't notice anything unusual, not even the shadow of the sand ninja.
But considering that this is the hinterland of the Fire Nation, the sand ninjas should not be so stupid as to cause damage here. Of course, with the mentality of just in case, the serious Sakumo will not let go of an area.
On the third day, wait until the supplies in the backpack are gone, and then go to the nearest Konoha sentry point for new supplies.
"You guys are amazing to come out at such a young age to carry out such a dangerous mission with Hatake Sakumo ."
The captain of this checkpoint is a well-known jounin from Konoha. He is a mature man in his thirties. Seeing the immature faces of Shiraishi and others, he sighed with emotion.
"In fact, our help is very small, and we often need Sakumo-Sensei to take care of us."
Shiraishi maintained a humble attitude.
"I know the character of Jounin Sakumo. If you don't get his approval, he will never violate his principles and take you to perform such a dangerous mission. In other words, your strength has made him approve. He is a man who cherishes his companions like this."
This Konoha Shinobi seems to recall what he said.
"Does the senior know Sakumo-Sensei?"
"We have performed missions together before. At that time, he looked cold, but he was actually a very gentle person, and he was very shy. To the enemy, he was the cold-blooded and ruthless Konoha White Fang. To his own people, he was a companion worthy of trusting our back."
"It turns out that Sakumo-Sensei was such a person in the past, I have no idea."
Maybe because he has grown a lot in these years, so I can't see Sakumo-sensei's shy side.
Shiraishi and others can only guess like this.
"Tianzhu, what strange things are you instilling in my students?"
Hatake Sakumo came over at this time.
"Just telling some ninja experience as a senior." Jounin said.
"By the way, this guy is a pervert."
Hatake Sakumo suddenly said this.
Ruri and Ayane cast a vigilant look at Tianzhu and stepped back.
"Hello!"
Tianzhu blushed.
“—especially for men.”
When Shiraishi saw that Tianzhu was closest to him, the smile on his face froze.
Ruri and Ayane breathed a sigh of relief, then everything will be fine.
At this moment, from another dense grass at the sentry point, a Konoha ninja suddenly ran out with blood all over his body, and fell down seriously injured within a few steps.
"Be careful, there are... enemies..."
