Escape from konoha 38

The climate in the forest began to become a bit hot and irritating.
It has been three months since Shiraishi left the village to carry out his mission.
During the period, I encountered a total of eleven waves of enemies. Except for the lineup of five Jōnin in the first month, the combat effectiveness of the Sand Hidden troops I encountered afterwards seemed very weak.
Sometimes, Sakumo-Sensei doesn't need to make a move. He just needs to hold the line from the sidelines, and the three of Them can cooperate to wipe out several times the number of enemies.
As the number of battles increased, the combat experience of the three of Them was also accumulating, and their cooperation became better and better.
In order to study new tactics, Shiraishi collected materials locally and searched for materials for making smoke bombs in the wild.
Fortunately, when it came out, some simple and small instruments were sealed in the scroll. When resting, Shiraishi would take it out and make smoke bombs.
Hatake Sakumo is no stranger to this kind of thing.
If Ruri and Ayane pay attention to the accumulation of More Power, then Shiraishi is undoubtedly the one with the best knowledge and the most flexible mind among the three.
Hatake Sakumo appreciates that he can still keep a calm and not anxious attitude to study and enrich himself during the war.
Therefore, Hatake Sakumo proposed a special training for Shiraishi.
Teach Shiraishi some practical Sword skills.
He can't help Shiraishi in the field of medical ninjutsu and research, but as a jounin who is good at swordsmanship, Sakumo feels that he can teach Shiraishi Some sword skills so that he has a certain fighting ability.
Cooperating with Ruri and Ayane in this way, the overall combat effectiveness of the three will definitely improve.
Shiraishi was a little surprised at Hatake Sakumo's offer of special training, but he didn't refuse.
When he was free, he would practice sword skills with Hatake Sakumo.
The weapon he uses is a standard ninja sword, which is slightly longer than the White Light Chakra Sabre, but it is several levels worse than the White Light Chakra Sabre in terms of chakra transmission.
After all, ordinary weapons cannot conduct chakra that changes in nature. Once they encounter a sophisticated weapon that can conduct chakra, they are easy to break.
Afternoon, when the sun is too hot.
"Hey, remember not to come over and take a peek."
Ruri and Ayane took clean new clothes to avoid people peeking at them while they were taking a bath, so they came here to remind them.
Shiraishi promised to answer: "Don't worry, you go ahead, even if you die, I will not let Sakumo-Sensei go there."
"I'm talking about you, not Sakumo-Sensei."
"..."
No matter how crazy he is, he will never peek at a twelve-year-old girl taking a bath.
The vigilant stare of Ruri's eyes made Shiraishi's heart a little hurt.
"It doesn't matter if Shiraishi-kun comes over to take a peek, because I will make Shiraishi-kun physically unable to become a qualified man again."
Ayane smiled softly, as if she meant something.
While it makes people feel like a spring breeze, they can't help shivering.
Watching Ruri and Ayane leave, Shiraishi sighed and said, "Really, is it really time to take a bath."
"No way, these months are either fighting or traveling, so it's good to let them relax. And it's very close to Konoha's sentry point, which is safer than other places."
Hatake Sakumo added from the side.
Shiraishi had no choice but to nod his head, agreeing with Hatake Sakumo.
In the dense forest, there is a gentle breeze, which is mixed with a little irritating heat.
Under such circumstances, Shiraishi wanted to take a peaceful nap under the shade of the tree.
"Is the situation on the front line still unclear?"
Shiraishi sat under the shade of a tree, and took out a cup of water to drink.
"Ah, although Orochimaru and the others are there, the opponent is the third Kazekage himself, so it's not so easy to win."
Hatake Sakumo also sat down and said to Shiraishi.
Although the Konoha ninjas on the front line are generally better than the sand ninjas, the lack of decisive and powerful ninjas at the same level as the contemporary Five Kages is also the reason for the stalemate on the front line.
"If Hokage-sama comes out in this situation, it might be able to turn the tide of the battle all at once."
Sakumo shook his head regarding Shiraishi's opinion and said: "Konoha is different from the four ninja villages. The Land of Fire is located in the middle of the mainland and surrounded by four major countries. There are too many things to consider. Hokage himself rushed to the battlefield. This is an emergency that will only happen as a last resort."
"It's not easy being Hokage..."
"Yeah, it's Hokage after all."
"Sakumo-Sensei, have you ever thought about being Hokage?"
Shiraishi asked suddenly.
Since there is nothing left and right, I hope to chat about some interesting topics to pass the time.
Sakumo smiled wryly and said, "Forget it, please spare me. I'm not the type of person who can become Hokage. I don't understand politics at all."
"That's not right, Sakumo-sensei's appeal to be Hokage is louder than Sannin."
"Having said that, Hokage-sama is still in good health, I have never considered this issue."
Shiraishi nodded in understanding.
3rd Hokage’s reputation in Konoha Village is indeed very good. I heard from Ruri that even the Uchiha clan has a harmonious relationship with the 3rd Hokage, and they have good transactions with each other.
It is conceivable that the third Hokage has a very big heart.
But...how many years can this kind of heart and courage last?
Third Hokage is forty-six years old this year, and after another ten years he will be at the age to abdicate from hokage position.
The older a person is, the more scruples they have.
The ambitions of young people will become more and more less as they grow older.
Uchiha's Police has more power than Hokage's directly subordinate Anbu.
This is not only the trust in Uchiha, but also its vigilance and advice.
Third Hokage doesn’t care now because he is strong enough and has great prestige. Even if something happens to Uchiha, he is confident that he can solve it by himself, even by using force.
But this kind of self-confidence cannot last forever.
Therefore, selecting a new Hokage within ten years to take over the position of the third Hokage is the real way for Konoha to strengthen the village.
At that time, Sakumo will only be in his thirties, the golden age for a ninja to be at his peak.
It is estimated that the strength at that time was stronger than it is now.
With prestige, strength, loyalty, and character, even if he himself doesn't want to be Hokage, everyone will try their best to force him to become Hokage.
"In short, if Sakumo-Sensei is willing to fight for the position of Hokage, it will definitely bring a new trend of thought to the village."
" I am not interested in Hokage anymore. I think my life is good now.Once I become Hokage, I won't be able to go out to perform missions like this and fight side by side with my companions in the village."
"what a pity…"
Shiraishi sighed.
"I will go to find something to eat. There is not enough food in the backpack. I will leave the task of Protecting the two of them to you."
"Ok."
Looking at Hatake Sakumo's receding figure, Shiraishi watched it for a while, then looked away.
