Escape From Konoha 66
🕑 Added 2023-09-07 06:30:15 +0000 UTCThe source of this murderous aura comes from Ruri.
At this moment, Ruri has withdrawn from the state of blushing, and after taking a deep breath, she looked over with a look that Shiraishi couldn't fully understand.
Facing this kind of wonderful gaze that is really incomprehensible, Shiraishi can feel a sense of oppression that he has never felt before, and the weight is on himself.
Sure enough, because of the fact that I was going to buy a kimono for her just now, her emotions have become more elusive than usual.
That’s right, even if you put yourself in another place and think about it, you know what you said just now, for a girl, it must be very angry and embarrassing.
"Well, that... How should I put it, it is really full of chance and accidents. Since there is such a special purpose in giving the kimono, then..."
A momentary illusion—the murderous aura on Ruri seemed to be stronger.
Although she herself has turned her eyes away from Shiraishi now, she stood there calmly as if nothing had happened, looking at other places.
But Shiraishi knew that this was not an illusion at all.
Don't talk about remediation at this time, whether you can get out of this clothing store smoothly is a question worth considering.
Shiraishi turned his attention to the Fujimura-Sensei who was on the side, and asked him for help.
Fujimura said in a righteous tone: "Student Shiraishi, don't always think of asking adults for help when you encounter difficulties. You are now a qualified ninja. You must find a way to have enough food and clothing for yourself."
Of course, this is definitely not because I am afraid, so I dare not extend my hand.
After all, no matter what he said, he is an excellent Chunin who has been selected as an elite teacher several times by Ninja School. How can such an excellent self not save his students?
This is entirely because I want to exercise the students' self-rescue ability.
That’s right, it’s exercise.
"I like the color of this dress very much, and the size is also suitable. What do you think?"
At this moment, Ruri suddenly said this sentence, her expression has completely returned to normal, her eyes are still fixed on the clothes, it seems that it is just an ordinary consultation.
"Yes, yes...I think so too, it's very suitable for you, Ruri."
"..."
"..."
…Well? how?
How should I say this silence, it’s like an important hint hidden in the game plot.
If it is not triggered, the plot will not be able to proceed smoothly to the next step.
Therefore, it is impossible to fool the past.
But is this really good?
I don't know how to explain the wonderful feeling born in my heart at this moment.
Marriage proposal or something?
No, I didn't even know that clothes had such a hint, so I just need to keep a normal mind.
This is just a testimony between friends.
But there's still a feeling of... guilt for blasphemy or something.
If I knew it earlier, I shouldn't have said so much.
It is me who makes me unable to step down.
Shiraishi cleared his throat, pointed to the one and said, "Fujimura-Sensei, bring that kimono here, I want to buy it."
Fujimura smiled, and took off the kimono that Ruri liked according to Shiraishi's intention, and packed it.
"Student Shiraishi, only when boys hand over this kind of clothes to girls will they become meaningful."
I'm so annoying, I want you to talk more! Shiraishi replied to him with an unhappy heart.
Ruri's gaze at Chunin Fujimura-Sensei eased a bit, with a color of satisfaction.
Finally, he saw off Shiraishi and Ruri who were holding the kimono, and left the clothing store.
"Young people nowadays are really amazing, but if you want to get married, is shiraishi planning to become Uchiha house husband in the future?"
Fujimura said with emotion that Ruri is not only a genius of the Uchiha clan, but also said that the family is super rich. If you want to get married, the man is more likely to marry.
But it's still early, get married or something.
••••
Time came to the next day.
Shiraishi woke up from a dazed state.
Because of what happened yesterday, I tossed and turned in the quilt all night and didn't sleep well, feeling extremely embarrassed.
When I think of myself who sent a kimono with special meaning to Ruri after returning yesterday, I really feel guilty.
Although I keep hypnotizing myself that this doesn't have that special meaning in it, it's just pure friendship.
But is this really the case?
Because after putting the things in Ruri's hands, I didn't even look at her expression, I just remembered the embarrassing gesture of running back to the laboratory as if I was desperate.
Even last night's i became distracted and made mistakes in the experiments.
This kind of wonderful mood is really complicated and unspeakable.
I got rid of the cranky thoughts in my mind, the most important thing now is work, not cranky thinking about some irrelevant things.
But the more this happens, the more he cares about what happened yesterday.
What would Ruri think?
Would she consider it a marriage proposal?
It's so strange, the two of them are only twelve years old in terms of biological age...
Would you consider yourself frivolous?
Will it be hated? still like it? Or feel nothing at all?
"ah…"
One thought after another came to his mind, making his head almost explode.
Shiraishi opened his mouth and exhaled heavily, trying to calm himself down.
Just like that, the morning passed in such a daze.
Really annoying.
Just when Shiraishi was suffering—
Outside courtyard.
A maid came to Ruri who was leisurely feeding the fish with food by the pond, and whispered a few words in her ear.
After hearing this, Ruri nodded to the maid.
The maid went down, and after a while, she walked in with a girl in white clothes.
This girl has pure white pupils, and she looks curiously at this unusually large mansion. It is Ayane.
"Go down."
Ruri glanced at the maid.
"yes."
The maid bent down slightly, and left here, leaving Ruri and Ayane alone here.
"Is this your home, Ruri? Although I heard Shiraishi-kun say it, but after seeing it with my own eyes, it is more shocking than I imagined."
Ayane walked over and said with a smile.
"Nothing, just a normal size, I don't think it's going to surprise you."
Ruri continued to sprinkle some food and fed it to the fish in the pond, watching them swim fast in order to compete for food, splashing water.
"Also, put away that fake smile of yours, and don't put on an act in front of me. You should know that I don't like you."
After this, Ruri said something bluntly, and pointed her sharp eyes directly at Ayane.
"Ruri, what are you talking about, I don't quite understand..."
In the middle of her speech, Ruri disappeared from her eyes, and her words were interrupted.
Ruri stood with her arms around Ayane's throat, but she couldn't move on to the next step.
Ayane's right and index finger gently touched Ruri's heart.
"Is this the capital you rely on? A soft fist made with natural energy?"
Ruri asked Ayane with great interest.
During the month among the Konohas, Ayane did not fail to grow at all.
Although it is not yet possible to specifically observe to what extent the power of the Soft Fist can be increased after the fusion of natural energy, it is impossible for the former Ayane to respond so quickly even if she opened her eyes and was able to catch her figure.
"Sure enough, you are the type I don't want to deal with. Not only your strength, but also your personality, they don't fit me."
The smile on Ayane's face disappeared completely, and she sighed in a helpless tone.
"Me too."
Ruri took her palm off Ayane's throat.
Ayane also retracted her two fingers.
It seems that this is a close battle, but Ayane still dare not be careless, this is a person whose growth rate is faster than her own.
If you are complacent because of this achievement, you must be the one who asks for trouble in the end.
"Speaking of..."
Seeing that Ruri no longer had the desire to do anything, Ayane breathed a sigh of relief, and looked at Ruri with strange eyes.
"What's wrong? Is there something wrong with me?"
"No, I want to ask, is today your Uchiha's special day?"
As Konoha’s only two wealthy ninjas who have the ability to inherit the limit of blood, Ayane dare not say that she knows the Uchiha, but if it is a special festival, she should know a little bit.
But she doesn't remember any special day for Uchiha today.
"Why do you ask?"
Ayane heard Ruri's retorted question, and pointed to the light blue kimono on her body, which was a suitable size. Although her hair was draped, she looked very solemn.
"your clothes…"
"Is this? What does it matter?"
"Generally speaking, isn't this the kind of clothes you should wear during important festivals or festivals?"
Ayane asked out the doubts in her heart.
No matter how you look at it, suddenly wearing a kimono on this kind of day has an inexplicable sense of disobedience.
"This has nothing to do with you, don't meddle in your own business. Besides, why should I explain it to you?"
Ruri sat by the pond, frowned, and stopped feeding the fish.
"Sure enough, I can't get along with you."
Ayane was not at all surprised by Ruri's indifferent reaction, on the contrary, within reason, she felt that this was what Ruri should really look like.
During the task, the way I get along with myself calmly is only because I abide by the responsibility of teamwork.
However, now is the vacation period, and the conflict broke out.
"What are you doing here?"
Ruri asked Ayane the purpose of coming here.
Actually, there is no need to think about it, it is absolutely impossible for Ayane to come here to find herself.
Then, the purpose is self-evident.
"I'm just here to care about my classmates, and to get in touch with each other by the way."
"Boring. He's in the lab, go find it yourself."
"Can I use Byakugan?"
Ayane asked with a smile.
"You can try it."
Ayane also became troubled by Ruri's anti-thief expression.
But Ruri enjoyed Ayane's helpless look on her, and felt refreshed.
"Okay, there's nothing else you can go. I'm running out of food at home recently, so I'm sorry I can't prepare a lunch for you."
Ruri started to drive people away, her tone was not polite at all.
"..."
Ayane scratched her head and gave a wry smile.
"Are you still leaving? I've said it all, and I won't prepare lunch for you."
"No, because Shiraishi-kun gave me a very important observation task before. Let him meet me at the old place at two o'clock in the afternoon. I will hand over the important observation data to him."
"Just give it to me, and I will hand it over to him for you. There is no need to meet outside."
"I put that document elsewhere, and I don't bring it with me now. Besides, I have to hand it to Shiraishi-kun in person to be at ease."
Ayane said in a calm tone.
Ruri frowned dissatisfied.
"You should know how important my Byakugan are to Shiraishi-kun's research. Then, please pass this sentence on to him, please, Ruri."
Ayane smiled slightly, turned around and left without muddling.
Watched Ayane away, until her back was completely out of sight, Ruri looked away, and let out a sigh of relief.
There is no need to be angry about such a trivial matter.
That's right, this is just a trivial matter, there is no need to take it to heart...
But what is this anger that suddenly emerges in my heart?
No matter how you look at it, it must be that guy's fault.
•••
At Noon.
When Shiraishi and Ruri were dining together, he heard that Ayane had come to him before, saying that he had important observation data for him.
"Well, I did ask her to ask her before, but I didn't expect it to come to fruition so soon. As expected of a supercilious look, it really helped me a lot."
Shiraishi sighed.
But noticing Ruri's terrifying eyes that were getting more and more wrong, his face seemed to be completely dark, Shiraishi immediately changed his tone:
"Well, in fact, this is not the most important thing. The most important thing is the research funds or materials you provide me, Ruri. This is the most important thing. The role of Byakugan is not as big as imagined."
After listening to Shiraishi's frantic explanation, Ruri's eyes finally softened a little.
Afterwards, Shiraishi also noticed the light blue kimono Ruri was wearing, which was the one he bought for her yesterday.
So, Shiraishi's expression became a little subtle.
When I was eating, I avoided it intentionally or unintentionally, pretending to be nonchalant.
"This isn't for you."
When Ruri saw Shiraishi noticed the kimono she was wearing, she was afraid that Shiraishi might misunderstand something, so she opened her mouth to explain.
"ah?"
Pausing to eat, Shiraishi looked over in surprise.
"Don't be sentimental, it just so happens that I like the style and color of this dress better."
"..."
"In addition, I only wear it now, and I won't wear it during the New Year. I'm sorry, I let your expectations fail."
"..."
I didn't say anything.
But when I heard that I would not wear this kimono during the New Year, I really felt empty in my heart.
Seeing Ruri turning her head slightly at this moment, without looking directly at her, is she... embarrassed?
I thought that when I delivered the kimono to her with my own hands yesterday, I was embarrassed, but in fact, Ruri is similar, right?
Thinking about it this way, the irritability of last night and this morning was much less.
"Ok, I know."
"Just know. I'm full."
Under Shiraishi's weird gaze, Ruri put down the bowl and chopsticks, walked out of the room gracefully with even steps.
After closing the door, Ruri leaned against the door and lowered her head. Her hair could only cover some facial expressions, but could not completely block them.
The root of the ear is already red.
