Escape from konoha 35
🕑 Added 2023-08-30 09:22:43 +0000 UTCOne week after starting the mission, Shiraishi and others gradually became familiar with the process of executing ninja missions.
Except for the wave of enemies encountered at the beginning, only on the fifth day did they encounter the sand hermit ninja lurking in the land of fire, and there was no more fighting.
Among the enemies encountered during the period, most of the sand hidden ninjas were chunin-level ninjas, and only one jounin was encountered.
However, after Sakumo showed his overwhelming strength against jounin, Shiraishi and others became more aware of the unfathomable strength of Sakumo, who is the captain and also their jounin Sensei.
Although Shiraishi haven't seen how powerful the Sannin praised by the demigod is in battle, Sakumo's strength is fundamentally different from that of ordinary Jonin.
If you have to say it, the strength of the opponent may not be evaluated by the level of ninja.
"The missions these past few days have been completed very well, and you have cooperated very well. Basically, there are no mistakes that Rookies often makes. Just keep this rhythm."
After dark, four people surrounded a fire.
The burning fire could not help dispelling the surrounding darkness, but also brought a little warmth.
Because it is still early spring, the night air brings the winter cold that has not yet gone away.
Sakumo held a grilled fish in his hand, took a water bottle from Shiraishi, and smiled appreciatively.
Shiraishi is a non-combat medical ninja, and he is the only one among the four who wears a backpack, which contains enough water and food.
"Because the enemy was basically solved by you, Sakumo-sensei."
Ayane said with a smile.
The enemies They encountered these two times were almost wiped out after one confrontation. Even if there were any fish that slipped through the net, they were all miscellaneous fish such as Chunin and Genin.
Ayane was always watching the situation with Byakugan, Ruri cooperated with Fire style's long-range attack, basically there was no frontal battle, and those fish that slipped through the net were wiped out in ashes.
"Haha, don't say that, as Rookies, you have already performed very well."
Sakumo knows some common problems of most newcomers. They want to be safe, but also eager to make contributions, to be recognized by the people in the village, and eventually to become a respected and excellent ninja.
However, this road is not easy to walk, and most ninjas cannot make it to the end.
Newcomers with such an attitude of eagerness for meritorious service are too easily sacrificed on the battlefield and in missions.
Sakumo has seen countless Rookie ninjas like these.
At the end of the day, the four of them were a little tired.
But in order to ensure safety, everyone cannot rest together, someone must keep watch.
So Hatake Sakumo arranged for Shiraishi and Ayane to keep watch in the first half of the night, and then he and Ruri kept watch in the second half of the night.
In this way, once an enemy surprises, they will not fall into the embarrassment of rushing to fight them.
None of them objected to this.
Sakumo and Ruri soon fell asleep peacefully, and needed to ensure adequate sleep in order to have the energy to continue performing tasks the next day.
Shiraishi and Ayane walked to the other side and sat down. The rustling sound of the leaves blown by the breeze entered their ears, making the forest even more tranquil.
Letting the evening breeze blow his cheeks and hair comfortably, Shiraishi enjoyed this rare tranquility.
"As expected of Shiraishi-kun, even against a strong Jonin like Sakumo-sensei, you can hide so perfectly."
Ayane walked over with slow steps, expressing her admiration from the bottom of her heart.
"Because I'm a medical ninja, everyone doesn't pay attention to my strength. Medical ninjas like Tsunade are rare after all."
Shiraishi glanced at Ayane and responded with a smile.
The biggest impression of medical ninjas is that they are weak. Apart from using medical ninjutsu, they basically cannot form effective combat effectiveness.
This is also during the war. Once the enemy's medical ninja is caught, they will not be executed casually.
On the one hand, medical ninjas are very useful, and on the other hand, it is also because medical ninjas are weak and not enough to pose a threat.
Medical ninjas like Tsunade, one of the 3 legendary Sannin, are an exception after all.
Most medical ninjas are still like Shiraishi, except for medical ninjutsu, they have no achievements.
In order to ensure the smooth implementation of medical ninjutsu, medical ninjas must not only have natural talents, but also have a lot of medical knowledge and perfect chakra control ability.
This is also the main reason why medical ninjas do not have the ability to fight. Learning endless professional knowledge and constantly improving their chakra control has already consumed a lot of time, and there is no time for other things.
"Really? Then you have to be careful, Sakumo-sensei is not an ordinary ninja, if he finds out, Hokage will also know soon."
Ayane is very afraid of Hatake Sakumo's strength.
Konoha White fang's name, even if they are newcomers, is still very popular.
The prestige in Konoha is even higher than that of Sannin.
If you want to choose who is the strongest Jonin in Konoha, then Sakumo must have the most votes.
Although Sakumo himself doesn't think so, in the eyes of others, he is the well-deserved Konoha's strongest Jonin.
The Jounin who is closest to Hokage.
"Don't worry, my Chakra has been kept to a minimum. Even a supercilious or perceptive ninja will think that I'm just a Genin after seeing my Chakra level."
Shiraishi has already considered this point.
Although it is not entirely correct to use the amount of chakra to determine the level of a ninja, most people in the ninja world think so.
The stronger the ninja , the more Chakra they will have.
Shiraishi is not the kind of ninja with super chakra. His own chakra is not enough for him to use reclusively , so he must use it wisely.
Hearing what Shiraishi said, Ayane felt relieved.
Then both of them quieted down. Ayane kept her eyes open, standing on the branch and occasionally turning her head to look around, in order to avoid any mistakes or omissions.
Because of the bird cage mark , the Byakugan of the branch has a blind spot in the field of vision. To prevent the enemy from rushing over from the blind spot, they must turn their heads to cover the blind spot in the field of vision.
Nothing happened in the first half of the night, and then Shiraishi and Ayane took a break, and Sakumo-Sensei and Ruri began to watch the second half of the night.
Just like that, the night passed, during which nothing happened.
In the morning, the four of them dealt with the traces of the scene, and after simply eating some dry food, they continued to wander in the Land of Fire.
There is also an Anbu of a unit that cooperates with the operation. If there is an Anbu joint, they will set off in the direction given by Anbu. If not, they can only search for the enemy and destroy them.
In order to ensure the safe transportation of the supply line and the safety of the towns in the Land of Fire, these ninjas lurking in the Land of Fire must be wiped out.
The four of them shuttled easily between the forests, with the breeze brushing past their ears, and the rustling sound between the leaves almost covered the sound of their footsteps, and the mottled light and shadow shone from the gaps in the leaves above, making the dark forest more illuminated, making it less gloomy.
The four of them didn't talk too much along the way, maintaining ample energy.
At this moment, Ayane suddenly accelerated, and stopped on a branch with Hatake Sakumo at the same time.
"Sakumo-Sensei."
"An enemy?"
Sakumo put his hand on the handle of the Chakra saber behind his back, ready to draw it out at any time.
Ruri also gave a defensive look, chakra gathered in the mouth, and the fire ninjutsu was ready to go.
"There are eleven ninjas, and five of them have very strong chakras, and they are probably jounin."
Jounin? Five People?
Even Hatake Sakumo frowned, faintly feeling that something was wrong.
Just when Sakumo was about to ask something, Ayane solemnly said: "There are sensory ninjas in the enemy team, and they are coming towards us."
"It seems that there is no way to avoid it, so get ready to fight."
Since he was lurking into the Land of Fire, the other party would send out a special Sensory ninja, which was also expected by Sakumo, but he didn't expect to meet so soon.
Regardless of whether this Hidden Sand Army came to destroy the town of Fire Nation or disrupt Konoha's supply line, they must be stopped.
Ayane's Byakugan observation range is a radius of five kilometers, and the distance of five kilometers can be reached within a few minutes as long as the ninja speeds up a little.
Without the slightest tactical preparation.
Under the influence of Byakugan and Perception ninjutsu, the two sides can only fight head-on.
cluck clap clap clap clap!
A strange sound effect sounded in the slightly dark forest, bringing a terrifying atmosphere.
The sound came from far to near. The attacker was wearing a black robe and holding a long chakra knife in his hand.
"Be careful, this is puppet technique!"
After Ayane shouted this sentence, Ruri had already prepared ninjutsu.
"Fire Style : Fireball!"
The huge and ultra-high temperature fireball rushed towards the attacking black-robed puppet.
The moment the fireball rushed out, an unknown number of black shadows suddenly appeared in front of them, and the target was very clear.
One of the ninjas wearing the sand hidden forehead clapped his hands, then pressed the ground, with a sinister smile on the corner of his mouth:
"Earth Style: Earth Flow Wall!"
The earth wall blocked the fireball, and amidst the sound of the explosion, flames, earth and rocks splashed randomly.
The puppet in the black robe was unharmed, and there were a little dust and sparks on the black robe. Powerful chakra spewed out from the bottom of the black robe, and disappeared instantly.
The body quickly spins and lands in a weird twisted posture that is impossible for the human body. The blade is like a wheel, tearing the atmosphere apart.
Ding!
White Fang blocked the high-speed rotating chakra blade.
Immediately afterwards, from the two dark cuffs of the black-robed puppet, a black chain like a long snake stretched out, with thorn-like blades on it, ready to wrap Hatake Sakumo's body around.
On the other side, seven ninjas surrounded Shiraishi and others, condescendingly showing ferocious and bloodthirsty smiles.
There was no verbal communication, and there was no opening statement. They took out ninjutsu and weapons and started killing.
The moment they rushed up, Shiraishi took out a smoke bomb from his ninja bag and exploded on the ground, drawing everyone in.
Among the smoke, Ayane's Byakugan were unobstructed, and everyone's movements could be seen clearly.
The index finger and Middle finger are joined together, and a thin layer of chakra blade is condensed on it.
Accompanied by a scream, Ayane's chakra turned into sharp blades and pierced directly into the opponent's heart.
Immediately afterwards, the chakra blades turned into small chakra torrents, striking the heart of this sand hermit ninja fiercely.
When Ayane pulled out her finger, it was only covered with a layer of chakra, without a trace of blood.
The opponent's eyeballs were covered with bloodshot eyes that were about to burst, his face was twisted and wrinkled, and he suffered unimaginable pain before dying, and then fell to the ground and died.
