Peerdraft for collaboration in Obsidian + Patreon exclusive video
🕑 Added 2024-02-23 15:11:45 +0000 UTCI've long wished for a way to work on notes on Obsidian with other people, and I've tried many different approaches. One of them, Etherpad, I even made a Patreon-only video about last year. But up until now, nothing really scratched that real-time itch. Dropbox was the closest, but that required someone having both Obsidian and Dropbox installed-- not ideal.
Peerdraft is the best solution I've tried. It's really simple, doesn't have a ton of features, but the real-time syncing just works, and works well. While there's a paid tier, there's a free forever plan that is more than generous, and the developer even said that he's not enforcing the limitations right now.

I didn't, but I just had a quick look. This looks like Obsidian Sync, and I think I'd rather just use Sync in that case. They also store content on their servers, which I'd be a bit nervous about.
