I got my final authorization for deployment, so I will be leaving my home town somewhere around October and heading to Fort Bliss, Texas, for a quick orientation and probably some shots (ohhh, boy) and then I will be off to sunny, downtown Kosovo for my much-anticipated KFOR rotation!
In the meantime, I will continue to try to keep up with as much as I can while I am deployed. The last few weeks have been insanely busy as I try to prep for deployment, and I have not been able to keep up with things as much (or as easily) as I'd hoped. There's been a lot of back-and-forth and I ended up doing a set of 29 day orders at my home station, and of course one people there discovered I was available, I spent my days putting out all sorts of fires.
But I am hoping that once I am in Kosovo, I will have just my one daily job to focus on-- not a civilian job, no household chores, just regular duty hours. Hopefully I will have plenty to talk about in comic form.
In the meantime, I have gotten the last "KGB" comic scanned in ("KGB: Kelly in the Caribbean") and I will try to get that lettered and uploaded sometime relatively soon-ish, hopefully before the end of the calendar year.
The ongoing misadventures in the Middle East, Africa, and the battlefield fumblings of Russia have me re-thinking my decision never to do another KGB comic. I may --may-- do one more, with updated art and character designs, and with Wagner mercenaries as a bad guy force.
No promises on that one.
Otherwise, I will continue working on BOHICA Blues: KFOR of course, and doing some Empires reboot material. Depending on finances, I may commission an artist to do some pencils for Crystallized, my Medieval sword-and-sorcery story as well. If I have the money, that is almost guaranteed, since all I need to do is pay someone, and the time-consuming artwork is done by someone else. I'd like to have something ready to jump off with when I get back so I can release both Empires & Crystallized at the same time, if possible.
Let me know if anyone out there likes the idea of having something I write done Manga style or not, because I may look for an artist to do that.
The yet-unnamed Wolf Project is on the back burner for obvious reasons, since I really need to get to Yellowstone to do some field research. That will have to wait until I am well back in the States.
Another "Art & Politics" video is in the works, too; this one focusing on the effects of the Russo-Ukraine War on the Korean Peninsula. I'll try to release it before I go, time allowing.

The old stuff truly rocks. I am sure that MarmelMM would love to get his paws on the new reprint should you ever do it.

Depending on how things go, I may take you up on that. The idea of putting all the volumes of AoS/MW into one big 400+ page manga-size volume and then having some follow-on specials, an omnibus and fan art/stories is kind of appealing to me. Selling some old copies of the 1990's version at a recent con was surprising, but you're right; there's still a market for the old stuff.

I am glad that you are still working on the Empires reboot. And speaking of Empires, aside from myself, I may have found one or two others who would be willing to help fund the reprinting of all your furry Empires stuff including the concept art for stuff that never took off. There is still a big enough following of the old furry version of Empires that people I now want to see Thunderhead and Borderline included with Ace of Spades and Morrigan's War as well at the various text stories and insight into ideas that you considered by didn't go with.
