The left is the dedicated business type with the hot coffee and briefcase full of results; the left is the war vet who shows up faithfully, rain or shine, and plugs away at the task. If you think he looks like Sergeant Purdue from BOHICA Blues, that's exactly who he is.
My impressions of our District office staff. On the left, represented by the developmentally disabled kid, is the impression that they make a lot of poor decisions-- but not out of knowing malice; rather just a lack of awareness. The spoiled brat throwing a temper tantrum on the right, however, represents the idiot apparatchiks that always want more, better, reports about why productivity is down (because we spend all of our time filling out more, better reports instead of getting stuff done).
This, on the other hand, is just an Army truck. Does its job, never complains.
My quick sketch of an M-60 tank. It has its complaints, but it sends them to someone else.

Fallujah; October 2004. Although for him I put him in a fictitious battle event, a firefight with insurgents in the city cemetery. There were battles in that cemetery on at least a couple of occasions but I was never part of them, however, I was in the 2004 Fallujah round-up when the Marines and Iraqi forces moved in (1st Cav was tasked with perimeter containment). I conflated the presence in Fallujah with the cemetery battle to create a fictional even that was inspired by actual events, and in that, Purdue lost his leg, SGT Kajama moved up to take the squad, and SPC Rock got promoted to Sergeant at the same time. Butter the service dog was wounded and they also lost their Battalion S2 officer, allowing then-2nd Lieutenant Mirav Mizrachi to join them as the new S2 and eventual company commander years later.
