**Earth-3145 – New Safezone**
"Calling all spiders to converge on Loomworld!" Spider-Man 616’s voice echoed through the comms, broadcasting the last call.
"Alright, everybody! This is it!"
Ben, once more convinced by the Superior Spider-Man to don his mantle, stood ready alongside the other spider-heroes. They all watched as a massive portal reopened before them.
“Spider friends, go for it!” And with that, the Spiders charged through the portal, heading toward their final battle.

I had made up my mind—destroy every cloning facility on this cursed world by wiping out the planet itself. The Inheritors had no right to escape through cloned bodies anymore. Even if they somehow built a new one, it wouldn't matter. This world was going to burn.
"April, what's the progress?" I asked.
"Almost done, Boss," came the reply.
Johnny Storm. I couldn’t have done this without him. The potential was always there—he could go supernova, but his own mind always held him back.
In the human body, cells convert energy from nutrients into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the fuel of life. But Johnny, bombarded by cosmic rays, was different. His cells created a new type of energy, a fire that his body manipulated at will. His transformation into the Human Torch was all about utilizing this extra energy. And me? I removed every mental block he had, conscious and subconscious. Now, the only thing Johnny Storm knew was one command: **burn**.
The nutrient tubes hooked into him provided the extra energy he'd need to sustain his supernova long enough to destroy this entire world. Sure, he’d die—his body would burn itself out, consuming every last nutrient—but it was necessary. Evil? Maybe. Hypocritical? Definitely. But the universe needed saving from the Inheritors, and if a little revenge slipped in, so be it.
"Boss, it's started."
A wave of heat radiated from the Baxter Building, spreading outward. The temperature spiked, and smoke began to rise from the ground.
"To all spiders, we're converging on Loomworld! We end it now!" the portal device blared.
I turned back to the burning world. "Goodbye."
With a sigh, I stepped through the portal just as flames began to consume Earth-3145.

**Earth-001 – Loomworld (Home of the Inheritors)**
Emerging from the portal, my breath caught in my throat. Loomworld was a battlefield. Multiversal Spider-heroes swarmed the area, and standing tall above them was a massive metal Gundam, battling the Inheritors. Corpses littered the ground, both spiders and Inheritors alike, but none of that mattered. My attention was locked on one figure.
"Daemos!" I snarled, sprinting towards him. He was locked in combat with Mayday, and I hit him hard, spearing him away from her. We crashed into the palace floor, the sickening crunch of his ribs music to my ears. I stood over his broken form, my stingers poised.
"This time, you're staying dead," I hissed, ramming my stingers into his shoulders, rendering his arms useless. His eyes filled with fear as he began to beg.
But mercy wasn’t an option.
I slammed my fist into his face, shattering his nose, and watched as his teeth spilled into his throat. He choked and screamed, but I silenced him, driving my stinger through his jaw. His muffled cries were lost beneath my hand. Mayday looked at me, horror etched across her face.
I didn’t care.
With a final thrust, I plunged my other stinger into his temple, ending Daemos’s life. His body crumbled to dust, and a wave of exhaustion hit me. But before I could recover, a searing headache split through my skull, forcing me to my knees.
"No!" someone shouted, and I looked up. The Master Weaver was dead, his bloodied body lying among severed threads of the Great Web. Superior Spider-Man stood over him, blood on his hands.
Spider-Man 616 rushed forward, restraining the Superior Spider-Man before he could do any more damage.
As the chaos settled, Silk removed the Master Weaver’s helmet, revealing Karn, the Inheritor who had once hunted us. His face was identical to the dead Master Weaver’s.
"That's you from the future? How can you be in two places at once?" someone asked, baffled.
"Time is not structured linearly here," Karn explained, his voice steady despite the confusion. "The existence of both Superior Spider-Man and Peter Parker proves that."
Karn donned the Master Weaver’s armor, stepping up to his place at the Great Web. Black Widow’s voice broke the silence. "But only spiders can spin the web," she said.
"I have consumed enough totems," Karn answered, his voice steady. "Their essence flows within me."
The other Inheritors were nowhere to be found, having been sent to the new safe zone where they’d either live in bunkers or die from radiation poisoning. I turned to the portal device, trying to open a path back to Earth-3145, but it failed.
I clenched my fists. I wanted my revenge, and now I was stuck.
Masking my frustration, I asked, "Can you get us home?"
Karn nodded. "Yes. But first, the Superior Spider-Man must return to his place in the past."
Superior Spider-Man yelled defiantly, but before he could continue, Spider-Man 616 shoved him through a portal.
"God, I hate time travel," Peter muttered.
Karn stabilized the Web, looking satisfied. "Your past is secure," he said. "But before I send you back, Miles—there's something you need to know."
He opened a golden portal before me. "You can save your parents if you step through now."
All eyes turned to me. Shock and suspicion ran through my veins. "Why?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.
"The Great Web has made it so," he said simply.
I hesitated, still doubtful, but I couldn’t ignore the chance. "If you're lying to me, I'll make you pay," I warned. And then, I stepped through.

**Earth-3145 – Some Weeks in the Past**
Watching from the shadows, I saw myself fighting Daemos while my "parents" lay dying. But they weren't my real parents—they were clones, created using Jennix's methods and Dr. Helen Cho’s cradle technology. I had built them to resemble my parents in appearance and behavior, nothing more. They were never meant to last, but they served their purpose.
"April, run clean-up," I ordered as the battle unfolded. The arachnobots I had set aside poured through, gathering what was left.
The fight raged on, but as the portal opened for the others to return, I knew my part was done.
"After this, I’m going to sleep for four whole hours," I muttered to myself, watching the aftermath of the destruction.
