Behind the Scenes
🕑 Added 2024-09-30 12:09:46 +0000 UTCHello everyone.
Thank you for your continued support.
This time, I would like to talk about “The Adventures' Tavern Behind the Scenes”, showing some of the pictures we make for each story.
(There will be no NSFW illustrations to be shown for the first time)
1. Character Design: The setting of the “priest's robe” in the religious organization in that world.
The monk's robe that Dicad wears was originally like this, and as he went on more adventures, he put on armor and other items that brought him to his present state.
The inner garment is not that tight-fitting, but it is supposed to be tight-fitting because Dicad wears it.
2. Rough drawing
When I ask for a text production, I first submit a rough sketch so that the scene can be easily understood, and then we discuss the image of the text.
I think of the basic flow of the story and ideas, and Mr. Dukekatsu creates the text based on these ideas.
I know that everyone has their own ideas about rough sketches (preliminary sketches), but I draw very detailed parts before moving on to the line drawings.
I think there are many artists who often feel that the rough sketch was better, but I try to draw the rough sketch well so as not to feel that way.
That may be why I am a very slow painter.
3. Setting up monsters
It is one of the points that I am quite particular about every time.
I always think about how I can make a sexual situation in a setting that is common in fantasy stories.
I also try to prepare these for the text production in order to match the image of the text.
Many of them are worm-type because that's what I prefer. They are useful because they give me a great deal of freedom in terms of composition.
I personally really like the Cave Worm design.
4. Dungeon setup
Sometimes we prepare a setting picture of the structural part of the dungeon as a setting picture for times when monsters do not appear.
How was it?
The Adventures' Tavern” was born out of the idea of having a project in which supporters could participate, as well as the desire to revitalize characters from the past and have them play an active role in the highly flexible subject matter of fantasy.
If you have any requests, such as “I want to see this situation” or “I want to see that character from the past again,” we would appreciate it if you could comment on them.
It would also be interesting to formally invite these requests through a poll.
We would like to publish these setting pictures again when we have accumulated them.
Thank you for your continued support!
