🕑 Added 2024-08-24 06:51:48 +0000 UTCMist froze when he saw a pair of men with midnight black fog surrounding their heads stalking toward the tent with the girls like they owned the world. Even without the pitch black cables that exited the back of their heads and vanished in the distance he probably would have recognized them thanks to the leather mask Balthamel was wearing and Aginor's withered and corpse-like appearance. He focused on Balthamel who had stopped to stare at some of the half naked girls walking around.
"Interesting," Aginor muttered as he tried to ignore the goosebumps covering his arms, wondering why there were a number of people channeling in a village and why there were twenty people walking around half naked in the cold.
'Fuck it,' Mist thought then quickly cast his glass conjuration spell, creating a clear glass statue of Balthamel a foot over his head. He quickly cast the same spell, placing the second statue over Aginor's head as the first statue crushed Balthamel's head like a rotten egg while he was distracted. "Seriously?" he blurted out when the second statue did the same to Aginor, surprised that he'd managed to kill them with a couple of statues.
Moiraine ran over, having noticed the strangers a second before they'd been killed by statues appearing out of thin air. "What happened?"
"No idea…" Elisa al'Vere trailed off as she rushed over to help and noticed that the statues were naked, extremely detailed and horrific as their 'skin' looked rotten or at least as rotten as glass could look.
Mist relaxed slightly when he tried and failed to drop another statue on the forsaken, meaning they were no longer valid targets for his statue conjuration spell. "A couple of dangerous and insane channelers showed up," he explained as he walked over.
"And you killed them with statues?" Moiraine asked, surprised that he'd managed to take them out by basically dropping something on their heads.
"I didn't have my bow and blasting them with lightning would have hit everyone in the area," Mist replied, trying not to laugh when he noticed that Balthamel's cock was completely rotted off and Aginor's was as thick as his wrist which was probably wildly inaccurate.
Elisa stared at Mist in disbelief. "You killed them?"
Mist turned and focused on Egwene's sister. "They would have killed us or worse if I hadn't, I could barely see their faces through the corrupted fog."
"Why are the statues naked and are they to scale?" Elisa asked, wishing she could erase the memory as both of the men were old and rotting.
"Because the spell doesn't create clothes and I doubt it, the statues are always a bit off when it comes to a male's equipment," Mist replied absently as he opened his clothing menu and looked at the description of the Belt of Sex Swap that he'd picked up, fairly sure he'd gotten the belt from Balthamel given the fact that the man had ended up getting stuck in a woman's body in the story thanks to the Dark One's twisted sense of humor. "I would have used something else but I don't have any combat spells."
"I'm surprised the glass didn't shatter," Verin mused as she walked over.
Mist turned to look at the grandmother like Aes Sedai. "They're about as durable as steel, I'm hoping we can melt them down and use them for windows."
"If they're that durable, they'd make nice windows," Verin said as she studied the dead, fairly sure he'd just managed to kill two of the forsaken by dropping statues on them.
"That's the idea," Mist replied with a grin as he checked the description on the lab coat that he'd probably picked up from killing Aginor. "Huh, I might have just found a temporary solution so we can start training male channelers."
"What did you get?" Moiraine asked, wondering why he'd changed his mind about training the men.
"The ability to conjure Lab Coats of the Eldritch Scholar." Mist conjured a blood stained white lab coat and checked the item description with his glasses, curious if it matched the one his ability offered. "This blood stained white lab coat protects the user from corruption and tainted magic by absorbing it. It uses the corrupted magic to create spellbooks with questionable spells. Warning, the coats can absorb corruption from the environment, drastically increasing the rate they generate spellbooks."
"Spellbooks?" Elisa asked as she glanced between Mist and Moiraine, hoping someone would explain.
"They're basically magic books that teach spells that don't require the ability to channel, just magical energy which we can get from the loincloths if we're willing to kill shadowspawn," Mist explained.
"Do the books come with a compulsion to use them?" Moiraine asked, wanting to make sure the books wouldn't make things worse.
Mist shrugged. "It doesn't say. Worst case, we can probably use the oath rod to make sure the men don't use the books without permission and my glasses to figure out which spells they have before we use them."
"What happens if the coats break? Why would you let men start channeling?" Elisa asked, wondering if he'd lost his mind.
"Because we're going to need people to help cleanse the source," Mist explained as he checked his gift page. 'Spellbook and a token. Excalipoor Token: This token can be used on a weapon to upgrade the weapon's accuracy and increase the rate that people learn the relevant combat skill by 1,000%. Unfortunately, it cripples the damage the weapon deals. That tracks and someone is a Final Fantasy fan.'
"And some of the boys are going to start channeling even if we don't do anything," Berowyn al'Vere pointed out as she walked over. "Several of them have the spark from what Nynaeve remembers which means we're going to have a problem if we don't cleanse the source."
"How do we even start teaching them?" Elisa asked, having heard Moiraine's lecture about Saidar and Saidin being different.
"I'll ask Rand when he gets back, I gave him a crystal that should have given him five years of experience with channeling," Mist told her as he pulled the spellbook out of his gift menu and checked it with his glasses. 'Conjure Questionable Wand, Conjure Ice Cream, Summon Naughty Transmogrification Specialist and Summon Stripper?'
"I'm still trying to wrap my head around Rand being able to channel," Elisa said, thinking about the rabbit ears.
"At least we know how to cleanse the taint, it's just a matter of making sure we can get there without everyone going insane," Mist told her.
"Did you get anything we can use?" Moiraine asked, annoyed that the books vanished when they were used.
"The descriptions look useful, let me check the actual spells." Mist opened the book and winced when the book burned the spells into his soul, finding the process annoying. 'A spell that conjures Warcraft style wands, a spell to conjure ice cream that tastes delicious and doesn't leave sugar in your mouth, a spell to summon a transmogrification specialist and a spell to summon strippers that leave their clothes behind before vanishing, not bad.'
Mist cast his new wand conjuration spell and barely resisted the urge to drop the wiggling and squishy wand that appeared in his hand.
"Light!" Elisa blurted when she realized what he'd conjured.
"Don't worry, it's just a replica," Mist assured her as he checked the wand's stats with his glasses, hoping it was just some type of realistic plastic and not what it looked like. "Accuracy: Terrible, Control: Terrible, Damage: Moderate Acid, Durability: Low and Speed: Low?"
Elisa glanced between Moiraine and Verin then focused on Mist. "What does that mean?"
"It means the wand is basically useless because you'd have more luck hitting your target using a bow while falling over drunk. It's also trigger happy," Mist complained as he made sure the wand was pointed away from everyone in case it went off, something that was entirely possible if he was right about the terrible control rating.
"What else did you learn?" Verin asked, wishing she had a copy of his glasses.
Mist shrugged. "I learned a spell to conjure an ice cold desert that should be pretty popular, a spell to summon a specialist that can change the appearance of equipment and a spell that summons a girl that takes off their clothes and flirts."
Berowyn shook her head, fairly sure she would have objected before she had Lan stamp her behind when he was stamping Nynaeve's behind. "You should probably avoid mentioning that last one around some of the old ladies in town."
"I wasn't planning on mentioning it outside of the school," Mist assured her. "Can someone help me with…" he trailed off as Twist appeared with a pop, wearing her sheer toga.
"Master needs help?" Twist asked with a smile.
"Can you vanish the corpses and turn the statues into window panels?" Mist asked, not seeing a reason to keep the creepy statues around.
Twist snapped her fingers and vanished the two corpses then transfigured the statues into the right shape. "Is there anything else?"
"Can you levitate the glass over to the tent that we're using? I don't want to just leave it here and we're going to need it for the school," Mist told her.
"Of course," Twist replied as she levitated the glass panels and headed over to the other tent with a spring in her steps.
"Can anyone learn to shape glass like that or just elves?" Moiraine asked, wondering if it was like the ogiers' ability to shape wood.
"I'll let you know as soon as I figure out how to teach spells," Mist assured her. "Now if you'll excuse me, I need to put on a costume and turn into a girl long enough to let Calle play with my breasts so I can get the increased durability."
"I wish there was a better way to get it, Calle enjoys her job too much," Elisa complained, still a bit embarrassed that Calle had managed to get her to orgasm in front of some of her friends by playing with her nipples. 'At least I wasn't screaming like some of the girls.'
Berowyn glanced over at the tent where the girls were practicing and where Calle had set up shop so that there were enough people to make the durability permanent. "I'd rather have Calle doing it than any of the boys or some of the girls, at least you know she's not going to get attached or possessive."
"Point," Elisa admitted as Mist headed for the small tent they'd set up for people to get changed.
"We should probably get back to teaching," Moiraine suggested.
"True," Verin agreed as she headed back toward the large tent.

"This better be temporary," Mist grumbled as he finished putting on the black one piece swimming suit with a fuzzy bunny tail attached to the behind. He twitched when the magic activated and it felt like a thousand bugs were crawling over his skin while dozens of hands were pulling his skin in uncomfortable but not painful ways.
"What are you working on?" Eldrin asked from outside of the changing tent.
Mist sighed in relief when the sensations faded, leaving him a busty girl. "I'm testing the costume that changes people into girls so I can cheat my way into getting damage resistance."
Eldrin snickered. "You sound like a girl, did it work?"
Mist checked his appearance in one of his bracers, not sure what to make of the attractive red haired girl that was looking back at him. "Looks like it."
"Can I see?" Eldrin asked, wondering what Mist looked like as a girl.
Mist glanced over his shoulder at his behind then turned to look at the tent flap. "Yes."
Eldrin slipped inside and froze when she saw the attractive red haired girl that was almost as busty as her sister wearing a sheer outfit that left her legs completely bare and clung to her body. "Mist?"
"Last I checked," Mist replied with amusement as he slowly spun around so that Eldrin could get a good look. "What do you think?"
'Light, he makes a better girl than he does a boy.' Eldrin pulled her gaze away from the cute white ball of fluff attached right above her butt like a tail. "I think you're going to get in a lot of trouble if people see you walking around like that."
"Probably," Mist agreed as he grabbed his loincloth and worked on putting it on over his costume. "Have you had a chance to pick up the damage reduction yet?"
Eldrin shook her head. "No, I was waiting until my mother finished practicing for the day."
"Probably for the best," Mist agreed. "Did you get a chance to look at the glass panels?"
"They're fantastic," Eldrin replied with a grin. "They're nearly perfectly clear and they're extremely durable."
"How do you know that?" Mist asked, fairly sure she hadn't been close enough to overhear.
"There's a weave that lets you test the quality of glass," Eldrin replied with a grin. "Are you planning on making more?"
"That's the plan," Mist replied with amusement. "Did you want me to make a statue so you can take it apart?"
"That would be great," Eldrin replied with a smile, curious how the spell worked.
"Okay," Mist replied as he turned to look at an empty section of the tent and used his new spell, conjuring a statue of Eldrin without her clothes. "There you go."
"You could probably make a fortune with that spell," Eldrin mused as she walked around the glass statue that had a faint purple tint, looking for imperfections. "Can you control the color or the way she's standing?"
Mist shook his head. "The statue is basically just a copy of the target when I cast the spell but I have a lot of control over where the statue appears and the color and transparency as long as I concentrate while I'm casting the spell."
"Melting the statue down is almost a waste," Eldrin mused as she ran her fingers over the statue's back.
"I can always make another one," Mist assured her.
"All right," Eldrin agreed as she embraced the source and used a weave of fire and earth to start reshaping the glass, wanting to be able to get the statue out of the tent without getting yelled at by an adult for having an inappropriate statue.
"Is there anything else you need or can I spend a few uncomfortable minutes with Calle so I can get my damage resistance?" Mist asked, wanting to get the damage reduction before something else went wrong.
"Can I touch your breasts so that Calle isn't the first girl that gets to play with them?" Eldrin blurted out, not used to being that blunt or forward.
"Go for it," Mist replied, rather amused by the fact that Eldrin's ears were turning red.
"Really?" Eldrin asked as she dropped the source, leaving the statue looking only vaguely humanoid.
"I'm male, this is basically like you playing with my hair," Mist replied, resisting the urge to tease her and ask if he could play with her breasts. 'Don't tease her, she might say yes.'
Eldrin hurried over and slipped her hands under Mist's outfit before he could change his mind.
'Is this because of the stamp, the skill crystals or because of the fake memories?' Mist mused, wondering why she'd ended up crushing on him.
"Mist…" Egwene trailed off as she stepped into the tent and saw Eldrin fondling a girl's breasts, having figured the tent was safe because she'd seen Eldrin duck into it. "Sorry!" she blurted then forced herself to turn around.
"What do you need?" Mist asked, rather amused that Eldrin's entire face was turning red and that she hadn't removed her hands.
"I was looking for Mist," Egwene admitted.
"Congratulations, you found me," Mist replied, rather amused by the situation. "What do you need?"
"Why are you a girl?!" Egwene blurted out before she realized that Mist was probably after the damage reduction.
"I wanted the durability boost and Eldrin wanted to play with my breasts before Calle got the chance," Mist replied with a grin.
"And you let her?" Egwene asked in surprise.
"It's Eldrin," Mist replied with a shrug. "I would have done the same if you or Bode had asked."
"They're soft," Eldrin offered as she reluctantly let go of Mist's breasts.
"Can I check that?" Egwene teased, not actually expecting him to let her.
Mist laughed, fairly sure she wouldn't do anything if he just gave her permission. "I don't think she believes you."
"I'm not lying, try it," Eldrin told her.
Egwene turned and looked at Mist for a couple of seconds, studying the way the sheer fabric clung to the tall girl in front of her. 'He's not going to complain and I'm not seeing anyone,' she told herself then carefully reached out and slipped her hands under the top of the redhead's outfit.
'I'm going to need a cold shower or a bed when I'm done getting my damage reduction,' Mist mused as he enjoyed attention.
"See, I told you they were soft," Eldrin offered after about a minute, wondering if she could talk Egwene into letting her play with her breasts.
"You're right," Egwene replied as she reluctantly let go of Mist's breasts and pulled her hands back.
"You mentioned you were looking for me before we got distracted, what did you need?" Mist asked, trying to get things back on track.
"I was curious if you'd picked up anything useful from Aginor and Balthamel and if you wanted a lift to deal with the whitecloaks?" Egwene asked, doing her best to ignore the urge to see if Eldrin would let her play with her breasts so she could compare them.
"That depends, are we going to have to ride from Salidar?" Mist asked, not interested in spending a couple of days on horseback.
"No, I can drop us in Pedron Niall's office," Egwene assured him. "I spent a fair bit of time looking through the whitecloak's records in the world of dreams."
"Makes sense," Mist agreed, not surprised that she'd been keeping tabs on the fanatics in the other timeline. "I picked up a spellbook that gave me a couple of nice spells that I'll show you later, the ability to conjure belts that permanently swap your sex and lab coats that eat taint and corruption to create suspect spellbooks which means we can have Rand start training the men without worrying about them going insane."
"That should make cleansing the source without driving Rand insane easier," Egwene mused, relieved that they wouldn't have to deal with Rand picking up a lot of taint from cleansing the source. "How long do you need before you're ready to hit the whitecloaks?"
"At least twenty minutes but it might take a bit longer if Calle is already helping someone," Mist replied, hoping that he wouldn't have to cut in line to get done in a reasonable amount of time.
"I'll see you in an hour, I need to grab something to eat." Egwene gave Eldrin and Mist a smile then left the tent.
"Do you think I could study the stamp?" Eldrin asked hopefully.
"If you can figure out how to duplicate some of the rest of the ter'angreal, I'll consider it," Mist offered, wanting her to pick up some experience with less valuable ter'angreal before he risked her breaking the stamp.
"Deal," Eldrin replied with a smile then left the tent, fairly sure she could figure out how to duplicate the communication items since there were a bunch of examples.
Mist left the tent and headed over to where the girls were practicing and where Calle had set up shop. He smiled at the half naked young lady that was standing guard at the entrance to the tent. "Is Calle busy?"
"She should be just about done teasing my mother," Loise al'Vere admitted. "I recognize the costume but can't place your face, who are you?"
"Mist," Mist admitted. "I wanted to pick up damage reduction."
Loise glanced down at Mist's crotch. "What are you going to do if you get stuck like that?"
"It's temporary," Mist replied with amusement. "Worst case, I'll use the chalice and the bunny ears then I'll use one of the belts I can conjure that swaps the wearer's sex if I can't change back."
"At least you have a plan," Loise replied with a smile as her mother walked out of the tent. "You should probably hurry unless you want to get stuck waiting."
"Thanks," Mist told her then walked into the tent filled with two dozen women and girls working on weaving magical threads while Moiraine and Verin walked around correcting mistakes. He walked over to where Calle was sitting in a chair next to an empty chair. "Can I cut the line?"
"You're good, the rest of the girls left to grab lunch. Take a seat and we'll get started," Calle told the cute redhead.

Mist of Shadows
Okay, let me rephrase that, I'm not saying he wouldn't try it later but it's not going to be with Calle in that situation.
