Why did I start Drawing Feet?
🕑 Added 2023-06-16 09:00:00 +0000 UTCThis Question is something only People who follow me for a long time may ask. I've also asked this question myself. But I think it's still a Question people may have, because that is the main thing you see on here. Most likely the thing you are following me for.
For the People who know me from my times back on twitter, how did it feel for you when I suddenly completely switched up my concept on my Artworks?
While I've abandoned Twitter, I had started uploading on Pixiv more Frequently. At first it was mostly the same stuff I did on Twitter, so no changes. Only after purchasing Pixiv Premium and getting my hands on the Analytics I noticed, why some of my Illustrations were more popular than others. I analyzed the hell out of that and
knew what I could do.
"Drawing Feet? I can do that!". was my first reaction. Even as an Amateur I was always pretty confident in my skill in drawing Hands and Feet, the one thing Artists hate the most. So for me, this was a chance I could seize. Today I would say it was
successful.
I didn't have a Foot-fetish, but I can see why it's a more popular preference. Even more so today than back then, haha. After drawing so much of one thing you get affected, right? Especially because I've never had a preference for Breasts or Butts, which most people have.
Today I would say I'm comfortable with my "role" and got used to it. Everyone is nice and respectful and I have fun drawing Feet. I do like to draw "normal" stuff from time to time, if I have free time, but I know this isn't the place to share that.
I hope the last year of constantly uploading Artworks show that I had fun over the time and that my Art also has evolved over that time.
I still like to branch out more, do more stuff but I guess for most people the stuff I currently do is "weird", so I think I have to talk about it because it isn't inherently "weird", it's just as weird as every sexual preference, right? And I just do Drawings, so no one's getting harmed.
If I would have been stopped because people say it's weird, then I wouldn't even have started watching Anime back then, because where I come from, that had been considered weird. It's a judgemental term that is thrown around to express you
don't like something without being too harsh about it. Well, I myself did say it's weird when I started a year ago!
I won't start on that topic now, maybe for another time. All I want to say is, that I'm comfortable with the path I've taken. I want to take that path and make a return to Twitter. And I want to get even better.

「足が描ける？というのが、私の最初の反応でした。アマチュア時代から、アーティストが最も苦手とする手や足を描くことには自信があった。だから、これはチャンスだと思ったんです。今日、私はそれが成功したと言えるでしょう。

私は足フェチではなかったのですが、足フェチが好まれる理由がよくわかりました。当時より今の方がもっと好きかもしれませんね。一つのものをこれだけ描くと、影響を受けるんですね。特に、胸やお尻が好きな人が多いようですが、僕は胸やお尻が好きだったことはないです。
今日で言えば、自分の「役割」に慣れて心地よくなったというところでしょうか。みんな親切で礼儀正しくて、フィートを描くのが楽しいです。暇があれば、たまに「普通」のものも描きたいのですが、ここはそれを共有する場所ではないことは承知しています。
この1年、常に作品をアップしてきたことで、その間に楽しかったこと、自分のアートが進化したことが伝わればいいなと思っています。
でも、ほとんどの人にとって、僕が今やっていることは「奇妙」なことだと思う。それに僕はDrawingをやっているだけなので、誰も被害を受けていないんです。
もし、「気持ち悪い」と言われて止められるなら、当時はアニメを見始めることもなかったでしょう。私の出身地では、アニメは気持ち悪いと思われていましたから。 というのも、私の出身地では、アニメは気持ち悪いと思われていたからです。
あまり厳しく言わずに、嫌いなものを表現するための判断材料です。まあ、私自身は1年前に始めたときに気持ち悪いと言ったんですけどね！
その話題は今はやめて、また別の機会にでも。私が言いたいのは、自分が歩んできた道に納得しているということです。私はその道で、Twitterに復帰したいのです。そして、さらに上を目指したい。
