Happy Birthday in the Future!?
🕑 Added 2022-11-15 09:00:00 +0000 UTCThis will be posted one day after my Birthday. I'm writing this now, way before the actual day, because I thought it'd be fun to guess what will happen.
Do I think it will be a good birthday? Well, I hope it will be, haha! But let's be real, the last Birthdays have been depressing, so I've got to keep my hopes low. There will be one less alive family member present than last year, and two less family members than 2 years ago, so it's definitely gotten a bit more lonely.
I'm guessing my father will come with good intentions but even after all preparations are met, he'll ultimately make everything awkward. There will likely be plans, but like always, everything will go wrong. My brother will be there, but not really, because he'll be busy with his own problems.
Other relatives aside from one grandma will completely ignore my birthday, I've never been vocal about it and I've never got any presents from them. One Grandma will call and congratulate me before asking if I finally stopped being useless and started earning money yet.
My best friend will almost obnoxiously congratulate me one second after the day changed and we will make jokes about being one step closer to the grave. I really hope he didn't buy me those Hisoka shoes.
Admittedly, it would be hilarious, but I would also never wear them, so I would feel bad about it.
There will be a (probably delicious) cake, but everyone will forget, that I'm the only one
that can't eat it, because I'm heavily lactose intolerant.
At evening, all plans to go out and eat somewhere with the family will horribly fail and I will have the chance to order Sushi, my favorite! This has been a constant for me for many years now and always brings up my mood again!
This will likely conclude the day and before I get to bed I will remember, that I'm too old to celebrate birthday anyway...
P.S: After reading through this mess I've noticed that it sounds a bit too dark but I originally intended it to be more of a funny story. Well, it's very likely that those things I described will happen, but I'm in no way or form dissapointed or mad about my family, it's just how things always were and I'm completely okay with that! It just sounds that dramatic in written form. I will do another post to write how it really went, maybe I will be surprised?

これは、私のBirthdayの1日後に投稿されます。何が起こるか予想するのも楽しいと思い、当日よりずっと前の今、これを書いています。
いい誕生日になるかな？まあ、そうであって欲しいですね。でも、正直に言うと、この前のバースデーは憂鬱だったので、あまり期待しないようにしないとね。去年より一人、2年前より二人減って、ちょっと寂しくなっちゃったね。
父は善意で来てくれるのだろうけど、準備万端でも結局は全部気まずくなるんだろうなぁ。計画はあるのだろうが、いつものように何もかもがうまくいかないだろう。弟も来るだろうが、自分の問題で忙しいだろうから、あまり来ないだろう。
一人のおばあちゃんを除いた他の親戚は、私の誕生日を完全に無視するだろう。私はこれまで誕生日について声を上げたことがないし、彼らからプレゼントをもらったこともない。あるおばあちゃんは電話でお祝いを言ってくれた後、「やっと役立たずをやめて、お金を稼ぐようになったか」と聞いてくる。
親友は日が変わって1秒後にほとんど不愉快そうに祝福してくれて、墓場まであと一歩というところで冗談を言い合うことになる。あのヒソカの靴、買ってもらってないかなあ。
確かに面白いけど、絶対に履かないから、申し訳ない気持ちになる。
ケーキ（たぶん美味しいと思う）が出てくるけど、みんな、私だけが食べられないことを忘れてしまう。
私は乳糖不耐症なので、食べられません。
夜は、家族でどこかへ食べに行くという計画はすべて失敗に終わり、私の大好きなお寿司を注文する機会があります。これはもう何年も続いていることで、いつも気分が高揚します。
これで一日が終わりそうです。寝る前に、どうせ誕生日を祝うには年を取りすぎていることを思い出すでしょう...。
追伸：この文章を読み返してみると、ちょっと暗すぎるような気もしますが、元々はもっと面白い話にしようと思っていたのです。まあ、私が書いたようなことが起こる可能性は高いのですが、私は決して自分の家族に失望したり怒ったりしているわけではありません。文章にすると、それくらいドラマチックに聞こえるだけなのです。本当にどうなったか、また記事にします。もしかしたら、びっくりするかも？
