Drowning in self-pity but not really because I can draw!

So this time, it's about money. Well, it's always about money in this world, right?
To preface this, this isn't a clever hidden proclamation to throw money at me, just my thoughts about the current state of the world, or at least, the perceived world around me. I think this could get controversial.
From last year to this year everything's gotten expensive. Not the normal Inflation type of deal, I mean like up to a 100% more expensive. I'm sure most of you are situated in different countries, and I would like to know, is it like that for you too?
With a new year on the horizon, and promises of even higher energy costs upcoming I'm seriously wondering how this will work out. They couldn't throw everyone on the streets, right...? Honestly it feels like yesterday when people started declaring me as an "Adult". Until then, I liked Mail, going shopping with parents, begging for sweets at the checkout. But now, nice Letters are a lie. Everything you buy will make you more poor.
Now, people expect you to be self-sufficient, able to independently accomplish things. And it just feels like a bad time for it to be turning into an Adult at the same time everything seems to go down the drain.
And you always have to keep in mind, that there are always people that have it worse. Even though you shouldn't compare things like sorrow or pain because everyone experiences that differently.
I at least, am able to share these thoughts, which actually helps, letting of some steam, being able to relax a little. Drawing also keeps me from thinking about those things.
I've always been very analytical, to the point where I'm always trying to evaluate and compare different statistics. But each time I'm made aware of something, it just hurts.
Awareness hurts. There are people like my father, who seems to fail at thinking before doing anything and just notice he has no money in the middle of the month right when it happens and has to struggle for half a month, and there are people like me who's already aware that the money will be gone halfway through the month at the beginning of said month and has to struggle mentally a whole month. It's hard seeing others be unaware of that, but you'd be punished for the mistakes of others either way.
I'm pretty quick to accept my own faults, but I really get upset when I get to pay for the faults of others. If I drop my favorite Plate, I can live with it, if it were someone else that did that, my week would be ruined and I'd never forget it. I think that comes from always being a overly cautious loner that always got locked out of groups, but was punished as part of that group. That must have left deep scars.
That's why I always chose activities I could do alone. Drawing, writing, programming among other things I'm not mentioning.
And this is where it goes back to money. So this is again specific for where I come from. The city where I live in is sort of infamous for being bad with handling money, politics being at fault for that. There is like one construction site for every 30 people that live here. Money gets thrown at useless things and gets practically burned. And when everything has to get more expensive again they say "Well, WE have failed."
But I'm not gonna start a political debate as that would be unwise. Talking Politics on the internet is like throwing Meat into a pride of Lions, or more fittingly a school of Piranhas.
Having the time to think about these things is always seen as having too much luxury. While I'm not able to debunk this, I think there are different perspectives about this train of thought. The whole reason why we can have luxury is because we can think, right? It's because we humans can make a science out of everything. There is literally a science about thinking!
And I'm even worse, I'm trying to make a career out of drawing! Well, I'm still far away from actually accomplishing that, but I was also never closer to that goal than now. Just imagine how much I could draw If I could do this full time!
At least being stingy helps surviving this mess. I don't know if I should be proud about having never bought a piece of clothing in my entire life? Why should I waste money if I never leave the appartment anyways? But being stingy clearly has it's downsides. I think my drawing tablet is finally getting to the end of it's life. It's been 3 years since I started drawing digitally and bought my first tablet. Don't know how long those tablets should last, but then again it was used almost every day. I remember being way too late at finally deciding to buy a tablet and I will be too late again when I finally buy a new one, but that's my own fault.
I hope this doesn't come off as overly whiny, drowning myself in self-pity. I just try to objectively assess my situation which could be seen as whining about first world problems. Well, now I have to flex something to show I'm not drowning in myself in self-pity:
I can draw!

こんにちは。またまた私です。またまた適当なことを長々と書き連ねようと思います。
今回は、お金についてです。まあ、この世界では常にお金の話なんですけどね。
前置きが長くなりましたが、これは私にお金を投げなさいという巧妙な隠れ宣言ではなく、世界の現状、少なくとも私の周りで認識されている世界について私が考えていることを述べただけです。これは議論を呼ぶかもしれませんね。
昨年から今年にかけて、あらゆるものが高くなった。普通のインフレではなく、100％高くなったということです。皆さんは海外にお住まいだと思いますが、そのようなことはないのでしょうか？
新しい年を迎え、エネルギーコストがさらに高くなることが約束されている今、これがどう作用するのか、真剣に悩んでいます。みんなを路上に放り出すわけにもいかないだろうし......。正直なところ、私が「大人」だと宣言され始めたのが昨日のことのようです。それまではMailが好きで、親と一緒に買い物に行ったり、レジでお菓子をねだったりしていました。でも今は、素敵な手紙なんて嘘っぱち。買えば買うほど貧乏になる。
今は、自給自足で、自立して物事を成し遂げることを期待されている。そして、すべてが水の泡になるように見えると同時に、それがアダルトに変わっていくのは、悪い時代のように感じられるのです。
そして、いつも心に留めておかなければならないのは、もっとひどい目に遭っている人が常にいるということです。悲しみや苦しみのようなものは、人それぞれ違うので、比較してはいけないのですが、少なくとも私は、それを共有することができます。
私は少なくとも、こうした考えを共有することができ、実際、息抜きにもなりますし、少しリラックスすることもできます。絵を描くことで、そういうことを考えないようにすることもできます。
私はもともと分析的な性格で、さまざまな統計を評価し、比較しようとするほどです。でも、何かに気づかされるたびに、傷つくばかりです。
気づきは痛いものです。父のように、何かをする前に考えることが苦手で、月の半ばでお金がないことに気づき、半月間苦労するような人もいれば、私のように、月の初めにすでにお金が半分なくなることに気づき、一ヶ月間精神的に苦労する人もいる。他人がそれに気づかないのを見るのは辛いけど、どっちにしろ他人のミスで罰が当たるんだから。
僕は自分の欠点はすぐに認めるんですが、他人の欠点の代償を払わされると本当に腹が立ちます。自分の好きなプレートを落としても我慢できるけど、それを他人にやられたら、自分の一週間が台無しになるし、一生忘れられない。それは、いつも慎重すぎる一匹狼で、いつもグループから締め出され、でもそのグループの一員として罰を受けたことから来ているのだと思います。それは、深い傷跡を残したのでしょう。
だから、いつも一人でできることを選んでいたんです。絵を描いたり、文章を書いたり、プログラミングをしたり......他にもいろいろあります。
そして、ここからはお金の話になります。これもまた、私の出身地特有のものです。私が住んでいる街は、お金の扱いが下手なことで有名で、その原因は政治にあります。30人に1つの建設現場があるようなところです。お金は無駄なものに使われ、実質的に燃やされます。そしてまたお金がかかるようになると、"我々は失敗した "と言うんです。
しかし、政治的な議論を始めるのは賢明ではないので、私はしません。インターネットで政治を語るのは、ライオンの群れ、あるいはピラニアの群れに肉を投げ入れるようなものだ。
このようなことについて考える時間を持つことは、常に贅沢をしすぎているとみなされる。これを否定することはできませんが、この思考回路については、異なる視点があると思います。なぜ贅沢ができるかというと、人間は考えることができるからでしょう？人間はあらゆることを科学することができるからです。文字通り、考えることを科学しているのです
さらに悪いことに、私は絵を描くことを仕事にしようとしているんです。でも、今ほどその目標に近づいたことはない。フルタイムで描けるようになったら、どれだけ描けるか。
少なくとも、ケチケチしていると、この惨状を乗り切れない。人生で一度も服を買ったことがないことを誇りに思うべきかどうか。どうせアパートから出ないのに、どうして無駄遣いしなきゃいけないんだろう？しかし、ケチであることは、明らかにマイナス面もある。お絵描きタブレットがついに寿命を迎えようとしているようです。デジタルで絵を描き始めて、最初のタブレットを買ってから3年。タブレットの寿命がどれくらいかは知らないが、ほぼ毎日使っていた。タブレットを買おうと思ったのが遅すぎたのを覚えているし、新しいタブレットを買うときもまた遅すぎるだろう。
自己憐憫に溺れ、過度に泣き言を言っていると思われなければいいのですが。私はただ、第一世界の問題に対する愚痴と見られるかもしれない自分の状況を客観的に評価しようとしただけなのだ。さて、今私は自己憐憫に溺れていないことを示すために、何かをしなければなりません。

Thanks! I just like to share some thoughts sometimes, they can get quite random though...
I may have to read over this a few more times, but i think i understand where youre coming from, and i can relate. Hang in there. You have supporters for you.
