It's time for another month of making art together! The schedule is attached above.
โ Here's an invite to the Art Town Discord!
โโโ Next stream: 11am PT Wednesday, June 7th!! โโโ
The Practice Prompt for June is: ANIMATION ๐ช๐ช๐
Letโs continue pushing ourselves this summer by making an ANIMATION!
Need some help? Here's some videos to help you get started:
5 Ways to Make an Animated GIF in Procreate - Bardot Brush
New to Animation? Start Here - moderndayjames
Animation Basics in 14 Minutes (6 Big ideas for beginners) - Alex Grigg
Blender 2D/3D for beginners, drawing and animating with greasepencil - Dรฉdouze
Throughout the month use the prompt to make something new, and share it with your fellow Art Town Residents on the Discord, or bring the prompt to the Wednesday streams and work along with me!
LAST MONTH'S Secret Prompt was INTERIORS (or "backgrounds".)
I had some time to rework an Inktober piece from 2017, and turned the Snake Lady into a colorful funky munching version of herself (watching the original girl on SnakeTube!) It was really fun to work with more color, details, a tiny bit of persepctive, and a tiny tiny bit of lighting.
Hereโs some of the awesome art made by your fellow Residents with last monthโs Practice Prompt:

Beautiful art, Residents!
Hope to see ya soon on the stream everyone! And thanks as always for supporting me on Patreon! You really make it possible for me to experiment, fail, and play in my creative career.
Stay Arty,
