Here is a first animatic, in this version the shot ended wihout the character entering the frame.
This shot is greatly inspired from an image I took from a trip in scotland, I wanted to get an ambiance similiar to it.
Here is the photo reference I used for the shot. This shot is a big part rotoscoping, I used toilet paper on the floor to simulate a winding road, and after a bunch of failed attempts to record the car movement with my phone I managed to get a stable and clear shot.
Here is a version with a rough pass over the road animation and character. The blue line represents the car light iluminating the path.
And here is the clean up version of the shot.
Then I added "color"
And then the ligh and shadow, I used blury brushes for the car light and for the dark shadow on the horizon.
Here is a final composited version. I added grain and wiggle/shaky cam. Also boosted contrast to try to match my reference image.
Fort the background I made a large image and matched it to move as similarly as possible to the video reference. I added white marks on the BG to better match it to the video.

Got hacked by some crypto scammers. Has happened to quite a few creators on my sub list :/ I reported it and gave context that it is hack, hopefully YT helps fix it quickly.
