So Easy wasn't the only Airborne company. There were three line companies per battalion, as well as a headquarters company. Three battalions per regiment. Easy company belonged to the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment. So Fox company, Dog, Able, Baker, etc, were all airborne and were all on other planes in that flight. This show specifically focuses on Easy Company because they always found themselves at the tip of the spear in every major combat action in Western Europe from D-Day to V-Day.

Just finished 1. Great reaction. Looking forward to the rest of the series. I don't know how well you know your history, but this is the Invasion of Normandy France. June 6th 1944. To try and liberate France from Nazi Germany. Keep in mind. All of Western Europe was under Nazi Rule for over 5 years.

The interviews you see at the start of each episode, are the real men of Easy Company. This is all based on true events.

The suicides were committed by men that were not qualified by the US Military to fight for there country.
