“I am not-“ Vyklios spoke up within the hoodie.
“Zip it you shitty hard pillow! You speak up again and you lose hoodie privilege!” Quinn snapped, her face getting grumpy as her tail swished with annoyance. Misha knew better than to interrupt their little bickering, an Apostle’s relationship with their God was unique, and no one outside that group could really understand it. Just like only he could properly understand Cynthia, Keiko, and his other ‘Divine Sisters’ relationship with their ‘Divine Mother’ Irahei… though Misha did wish that Irahei had chosen at least one other man…
Instead, Misha just smiled as he tried to recover his easily frazzled nerves as he stared at his girlfriend. She was so gorgeous, as basically all Apostles ended up being. “It’s sooo big. And out here in the middle of nowhere too! Why would they bother making one in the middle of a forest with giant monsters and shit? Do those idiots want to get eaten? Or is there a dedicated group of Apostles always guarding them or something? Or is there a Keeper there… no, why the hell would a Keeper be in a place for Apostles? You know, Misha?” Quinn asked, her tail wagging again as the trio looked in the distance. A large pearly shell-like dome covered half of a small town in the middle of the forest, every building was made of white stone, or perhaps painted white, and looked very out of place in the forest. Yet both of them could see several trees in the middle of the Latrepolis, as well as a big pond, and a crowd of people, though they could not make out any details from this distance. As the Tree Beast crossed the ground between them, Quinn leaned over and shouted.
“HEY! ADVENTERUR GUYS! WE SPOTTED THE TEMPLE! IT’S STRAIGHT AHEAD A BIT. JUST KEEP FOLLOWING US SO YOU DON’T GET LOST AND ALMOST DIE AGAIN!” Quinn shouted, her ears tilting a bit as she waited for a response. A few seconds later Misha and Quinn’s sensitive ears both heard a small voice yell back “Thank you! We will follow!”.
“Huh. So they actually could hear us up here after all…” Quinn spoke out loud as Misha struggled not to hyperventilate at the thought that if they had had sex up here, the Adventurers all would have heard Quinn’s screaming and Misha’s moans…
It was a while later when Misha finally set the Tree Beast down, the great wooden throne slammed it’s legs into the ground before sinking itself into the dirt, until it’s triangular head became a nice incline down to the dirt as a large group awaited the two Apostles. There were two other Apostles as Quinn had guessed, and a large group of Priests and Priestesses and Acolytes. Quinn leapt from the Tree Beast to the ground much to Misha’s horror, deftly catching Vyklios in her hands without even turning her head as he flew out of her hoodie, before landing and instantly covering the distance between herself and the group who had come out.
“Hey hey everyone I’m Quinn I’m an Apostle and here’s my God! So anyways this is a Temple for Apostles right? Whose the boss? I want food and a bath and my boyfriend needs a bathroom! You know, an Apostle Bathroom. Hint Hint?” Quinn asked as she turned and flicked her head and tail at Misha who was delicately walking down the incline. A Cyclops man walked forwards, his robes bursting with muscle still as if he somehow prayed stronger than everyone else.
“Hello, Quinn… Umm… Can you repeat yourself? That is… your God?” The Cyclops man looked a bit ready to faint as all the other followers seemed to shudder as well, the two Apostles already seeming furious with Quinn’s attitude and disrespect.
“Yep! This little shit is Vyklios, the Exalted of Flows. Here, you keep him for a bit!” Quinn said as she softly lobbed Vyklios at the Cyclops who caught the God with a shout. Vyklios peeked his head out of the shell as he thanked the Cyclops who was now sweating buckets and saying he was sorry over and over and over to the God. “Oh, you don’t need to apologize to him. He’s a shit God! I’m his only Apostle hahahahaha! Anywayssss! Food! Showers! Bathroom for boyfriend! Helloooooo? You guys stun locked in worship mode or something? ”
“Quuuiiiiin! Stooop! The-the disrespect! I- I am sooo sorry, please forgive us, my name is Misha Silva, Icon of Irahei, I am very pleased to make your acquaintance. Would you happen to be the Celebrant, Bishop, or Archiereus by any chance? Or do you simply prefer High Priest?” Misha said as he bowed his head to the Cyclops after arriving finally, the Cyclops still reverently holding Vyklios and a bit scared to breathe in the presence of a God. Many of the other men and women in the gathering had fallen to their knees in prostration.
“I… Yes. Forgive me. I am generally called Father Jirokk, but the children like to call me James as it is easier to remember. I… We are honored to have an Icon grace our holy grounds. Please, if there is anything we can do for you, we will gladly get it done right away.” Father Jirokk spoke up, seeming to remember how to talk properly now. He bowed his head to a group of Acolytes who delicately carried Vyklios away, whispering to the God and asking him if he would like to be bathed. Vyklios was giddy as he thanked the Acolytes for proper care of his divine form as they broke off and headed towards one of the white buildings. Despite the initial confusion over ‘Boyfriend’ with the image of Misha…, Father Jirokk was back on track as he resumed leading everyone with simple gestures.
“Thank you, Father Jirokk, and we are honored to receive your hospitality,” Misha spoke up as the Adventurers finally arrived on their carriages, the horses slowing down as they neared. Father Jirokk looked pleased to see them alive and well as the leader of the squad tipped his hat.
“Ah, you saved them all. Thank you, thank you! Truly the Gods have blessed us all with your presence. Please, Icon, your companion Quinn said that you were in need of our facilities. We have never had an Icon use them, but we are sure that they will withstand your blessings.” Father Jirokk spoke as Misha looked confused for a moment as Quinn cupped her hands to her mouth to avoid bursting into laughter. Then Misha noticed the slight blush on the two Apostles behind the High Priest, and the strained laughter of his companion as she shook, even looking away from the group it was clear she was trying not to howl with laughter once again. Finally it clicked in Misha’s head as his cheeks blazed like rubies.
“Nnnnoooooo! I don’t- I don’t need to use thaaaat! Quuuiiin what did you tell theeeeem!?” Misha cried as he lightly stomped his foot, finally setting Quinn off as she clutched her stomach and laughed out loud. Surprising everyone as they didn’t know how to react to an Icon acting this way, or a lesser Apostle being so disrespectful to an Icon… However, despite Misha’s crying that he didn’t need to use the little divine bunny’s room… his stomach had other plans.

Still, Quinn’s provocation which lasted only a second made all the Priests and Priestesses understand she was reprimanding them for their behavior. All of them immediately stood up as Father Jirrok spoke once again.
“Oh graceful Icon, please, do not feel such shame. We are but humble servants, here to worship and offer our services for anything the blessed warriors of the Gods require. Forgive us for our lapse in regality, we did not dare upset you on purpose.” Father Jirokk spoke with refined words as Misha’s crying completely stopped.
“B-but it was my-my fault…” Misha wiped his eyes, feeling like a little boy for crying so easily despite his age. He was always a scaredy-cat and a crybaby before becoming an Apostle, he still sometimes doubted how he was the Icon of Irahei… Though she said that she loved him most of all and she was lucky to have found an Apostle like him… Misha stopped when Quinn held his hand and looked into his eyes, her gorgeous cloudy blue eyes meeting his solid golden gaze as he wiped his eyes again and gained some more confidence. Despite the fact that she teased him so much, when Quinn was with him he felt like he could actually be a proper Apostle.
“See, Babe? I told you before. So Apostles take huge shits and all that crap, big deal. We save people’s lives all the time! They aren’t allowed to complain hahahaha!” Quinn grinned broadly as everyone almost fell over from the sheer absurdity of what she just said. Misha included as he squeezed her hand and whined some more.
“Quuiiiiin! Languaaage! I’m- I’m so sorry about her, Father Jirokk!” Misha bowed his head as Quinn gasped for being apologized about. Despite the peculiarities of their personalities. Father Jirokk could not hide his great smile as he stood up broadly.
“No, please. We are honored to have you both, please come and situate yourselves! I will personally tour you around our humble Latrepolis if you so wish, although, if you desire to use our services now…” Father Jirokk lowered his voice. “We have facilities right now and an entire team of Acolytes, whatever gender you prefer, to help you, Icon Misha.”
“N-Noo! I… I’m okay! Th-Thank you… really. I’d like a tour if that’s okay?” Misha spoke. Looking up at his taller girlfriend as if it was okay. Quinn nodded, still glaring at the two other Apostles for daring to defend themselves against her aura earlier… If it was a 1 v 1 she could definitely take them both in a fight even if they were stronger than her…
As Father Jirokk nodded, the two Apostles finally relaxed and went away, as did most of the crowd. Some left towards the pond, others towards some Gardens, and others entered different buildings, though nearly twenty of the Acolytes were still practically jumping up and down and prancing as they wanted to shove Misha onto a toilet and take care of him right then and there. Quinn grinned as she whispered to Misha. “Babe, look. Whole group of plumbers. Think they’ll be enough for that?” Quinn said as she pointed a finger at Misha’s belly. Misha’s face blazed as he tried to defend himself but couldn’t come up with the words. Quinn giggled as the two followed Father Jirokk around, and the Acolytes followed them at a respectable distance.
“Hey Father guy.” Quinn spoke up as the even taller Cyclops High Priest turned around.
“Yes, Apostle Quinn?” He said happily, not a trace of anger or frustration in his deep voice.
“You guys got meat out here? Or do I have to go hunt something in the woods for a bit? Also, call me Quinn. I hate the title stuff. So long and annoying. And also you said you’ve never had an Icon here before right? You realize just how big an Icon’s ’Blessings’ can be right? Oh! And do you guys have a TV or Gazing Screen I can plug my Crysadeck into? I like playing on the big screens.” Quinn spoke up as Misha’s ears twitched and his jaw gaped, the gorgeous bunny boy silently wailing in shame as he couldn’t stop his girlfriend from speaking. Misha still remembered when they first met at the first Aurcorrom Gigante, when everyone was greeting all the other new Apostles and getting their Crysadeck codexes updated! Misha had just met and Quinn was still fuming after learning their Gods had tried to set them up and Misha was actually a boy in a dress… Then Quinn stormed off and left Misha alone and Misha finally found her again as Quinn ran her mouth off against that Enfluga princess who turned out to be the twin of a Greater Apostle of the Sovereign of Ground! If Misha hadn’t been there to defuse the situation, the Apostle Twin named Queralt would have started attacking and probably killed Quinn! Misha had no idea at the time that a year later he and Quinn would meet again and rapidly fall in love… but he still remembered vividly how her mouth liked to get them into trouble!
“Quinn! You-you can’t talk like that to new people! Remember the Enfluga princesses!?” Misha panicked as he squeezed Quinn’s hand. Quinn looked down at him and growled.
“Haaaa!? Those bitches from three years ago!? Babe how could you bring that up? I’m just chatting with the old guy here to find out if this place has good stuff or not! I’m not doing anything bad! Grrrr… when I see those bitches at the next stupid Apostle meeting, I’m gonna break one of their dumb insect arms even if they kill me… or pop their stupid honey-filled tits!” Quinn growled as Misha squeezed her hands even harder. That was the opposite of what he wanted to happen! However, Jirokk then laughed and surprised them both.
“Hahaha! You are a feisty woman, Quinn. And do not worry, Icon Misha, Quinn has not angered me at all. My sister is a feisty woman too and is perhaps one of the best people I know. However, while I am overstepping my place as a humble servant of yours, Quinn, I must say that you should not try to start fights at the Aurcorrom Gigante. We are still very early into the next reign of Apostles, and tensions are extremely high as territories are made and claimed, we had a Supreme Apostle who was here a few months ago furious that Icon Nero tore through his territory and killed the Corrupt Champion he was hunting. You can imagine his frustrations.” Father Jirokk spoke as Misha gulped in fear and Quinn scoffed… though her fur was sticking up a bit in fear just from that name being uttered.

In only the three years since the new selection of Apostles had been chosen, Nero had gained infamy around the world as not a single person with the Mark of Death had been spared by her, or a single beast gone un-hunted. She did not care whose land it was, or what other Apostles were there, and had already sent 100 of her fellow Apostles back to their home resurrection Temple or Shrine just for getting in her way. Rumors about her were as varied as people were terrified of her name. Some said she was fifty feet tall, others said she had four heads to eat your soul, some said she didn’t have a real body at all, she was simply a living fog that ended the lives of all swallowed by it…
“Nero… was here? Or near here? … Shit…” Quinn was actually quiet for once.
“Yes. Icon Nero was near here, though she did not visit. However, her little sister Hylla did and she was quite delightfull She said her sister is just misunderstood… though as blasphemous as this may sound, I do not wish to learn myself.” Jirokk smiled.
“Wait… Hylla the Arrow of Flames? Ohhh I’ve heard of her! She’s Nero’s sister?!” Quinn spoke as Misha looked at her incredulously.
“Q-Quinn… that’s on our Codex… All the necessary data on each Apostle is there in our Crysadecks… You use that thing all the time I thought-“
“Oh I just use it to play games… maybe I should read about Nero so I don’t walk into her at the next Apostle meeting… I heard if she kills an apostle it takes twice as long for your God to revive you… jeeeez…” Quinn groaned as they began walking again. “Wait. Jirr… James. You never answered my other questions.”
“My apologies, Quinn. We were all lost by the fearsome might of Icon Nero. Hmm… Meat, and the capacity of our facilities… Yes, we have plenty of meat kept cool if you would like to have a feast tonight. We would gladly host one, it is such an honor to have an Icon present. And we do not have a… TV? Or a Gazing Screen, our technology is quite low here. However, we do have state-of-the-art pipes and plumbing for the Apostles who grace our presence! As this is the only Latrepolis throughout the great forest!” Jirokk smiled as the three, then twenty-three, entered the shadow of the giant shell as they headed toward a building far larger than the rest. With swirling-styled pillars and a walkway over a dozen feet wide. Misha wondered what it could be before he processed what Jirokk had said and hastily had to interject.
“Um… Father Jirokk… I can’t… eat… umm…” Misha stuttered as he began to memorize the floor once again.
“Oh? Forgive me, Icon Misha, if you cannot eat meat I will remove it from your dishes immediately. I would not dare ruin a Feast for our first Icon!” Father Jirokk spoke with worry in his voice as he looked down at Quinn and Misha. Quinn was grinning ear to ear again.
“He can eat meat just fine… and give it~ Buuuut Misha’s been trying to eat as little as possible for days. It’s been over a week since his butt ‘blessed’ a toilet and if he adds any fuel to that fire it’s gonna be biiiiig! I think he’d explode and drown everyone here if he ate more than three plates~ And I know you guys can’t revive like we can hahahahaha!” Quinn laughed as Misha was wide-eyed, looking at his traitorous girlfriend as he squealed and tried to get her to stop spilling his terrible secret. Father Jirokk was stunned for a moment before he gave a comforting smile.
“I see, then perhaps… Hmm… What would you two like to do?” Father Jirokk asked, looking at them and the frantic Acolytes behind them who were just waiting for the Father to nod so they could kidnap Misha and throw him on a toilet with hot towels and lotioned hands and massage the Apostle until his bowel movement ended.
Quinn looked at Misha who looked back, tears in his eyes as he realized everyone was staring at him. As if on queue, Misha began to feel another movement in his guts as his eyes closed shut and he balled his free hand into a fist.

Another massive rumble shook the three as Misha’s tail shot up for a second before twisting itself into a knot as his butt clenched. Quinn and Jirokk’s bones both rattled as Misha’s belly warned everyone it was quite angry… Jirokk had never seen an Apostle so desperate in his presence before! Any other Apostle would have already been shitting -er- blessing the grounds right there on the spot if their stomachs were half as loud as the poor Icon’s! How Icon Misha wasn’t passing tremendous gas or anything on the spot must be a testament to his divine will! Jirokk almost wanted to praise the adamantium concentration that Icon Misha must possess… but he knew already that would only humiliate the poor Apostle. (He hasn’t released in over a week? For a Greater Apostle that is already a herculean task… but for an Icon? I cannot imagine the pressure his poor bowels must be feeling!)
Misha’s third enormous belly grumble, louder even than Quinn’s bloated farts, finally ended after nearly seven seconds straight of boulders crushing against boulders inside the golden bunny’s flat tummy. Jirrok realized that Misha must have Compression spells on, and wondered just how big his stomach must be if it was that noisy… he half imagined it rising over the buildings with divine waste…
“Please. Icon Misha, I know this is quite disrespectful of me, but I must insist. Please use our facilities posthaste, I assure you that our Acolytes are highly trained and can-“ Father Jirokk started before both Apostles cut him off.
“Nnnoooooo!” Misha cried.
“He can’t. He’s constipated and other people being around makes it worse.” Quinn spoke up as the Acolytes heard and felt their hearts break.
“Quuuuiiiiiinnn don’t tell him thaaaat! I-I’m nooot! I sweaaar!” Misha cried as his stomach calmed down, the aching pressure inside was getting quite bad though…
