In the first in the new series, I start by talking about conceptual efficiencies and physical efficiencies - what are they, and why do large game companies like physical efficiencies so much?*
And thank you, Aurochs Digital, for reminding me to include the link to the panel: https://store.steampowered.com/newshub/group/38511516/view/2930113815186492639

Iβd add, as a designer having done both digital and physical games, some players do like to know the stats running under to bonnet of the game. So we often aim to give βopt in complexityβ where those that want to know, can see it. That all said the gameplay system of rolls in zero dark is indeed very elegant!
