I want to see them end up together. It could be third time’s a charm for Joey. Yeah, he’s got a mouth on him, but chefs tend to be stressed out and working in a kitchen ain’t easy. After a decade in the industry, I know kitchen folks keep each other going by engaging in wild, interesting conversations! While he has been married a couple times it could be that he likes the idea of marriage and gets attached quickly. We don’t really know about his parenting skills, just that he has a son and pays child support. I think we need some backstory, and it could come in the form of Jamber on a couple dates where they talk about these things.

(I had expected Nicole to encourage them just so she could watch the drama play out, but I love that she has more layers than that and wants to protect Amber like she did with Brigette in Vegas)

Nicole is a very smart woman, and she’d never tell anyone to accept bad treatment . If River abused Poppy, Nic would even be there for her arch-enemy! So Nic should give Amber plenty of cautionary advice, maybe find out if Amber has a pattern of choosing abusive partners, but admit the importance of chemistry. Listen, as hot as that scene was, Amber and Joey are 3/4 of the way there. Maybe 5/8…I have a dream that Amber can sooth Joey’s anger and Joey can protect and adore Amber, and they can be so happy together they’ll have to leave BH and have their own spin-off. Also, Ruby can threaten Joey with the consequences of hurting Amber, and Bridgette and Pickles can look at him sorrowfully. That’ll keep him in line.

At this point it's inevitable. And if you try to stop it, it will cause more harm than good. You'll cause damage to your relationships with them. Let it happen, as they might just need to get it out of their systems to move on. Remind them both of what could happen though, especially Joey. And remind him how lucky he is that amber had deigned to look at him. But they could end up balancing each other out, their personalities do tend to work together.
