Gym Belly - Protein Shake Challenge
🕑 Added 2025-03-22 04:23:28 +0000 UTCAs I stepped out of the sauna, towel wrapped around my waist, my gut proudly leading the way, I heard footsteps behind me.
"Hold up, man," Blondie called out.
I turned around, raising an eyebrow as all three of them followed me into the locker room, still looking at me like I was some kind of rare phenomenon.
Blondie finally spoke up. "Alright, man. We gotta know. What’s the diet?"
Linebacker guy nodded. "Yeah, like, what’s the intake level to maintain that?" He gestured at my stomach like it was a monument.
I smirked, leaning back against the locker, arms crossed over my chest. "Oh, we’re talking fuel for the tank now?"
Blondie grinned. "Hell yeah. That thing looks like it requires special attention."
I shrugged. "Well, I eat big, but it’s not just junk. I hit my protein, I get my carbs, but yeah—I can put away some serious volume."
The quiet guy finally chimed in. "Like how much we talking?"
I pretended to think for a second. "Let’s just say if we all sat down for a meal together, I’d still be eating when you guys tapped out."
Blondie raised an eyebrow. "Bro. You got capacity?"
I grinned. "You could say that."
Linebacker guy shook his head. "What’s the most you’ve ever eaten in one sitting?"
I leaned in slightly. "You ever been to an all-you-can-eat buffet?"
Blondie’s eyes widened. "Oh hell yes. Don’t tell me you—"
"Closed one down," I said with a smirk.
Linebacker guy threw his hands up. "NO WAY."
The quiet one looked seriously intrigued. "Like, they kicked you out?"
I nodded. "Not kicked out, exactly. But let’s just say the manager came over, gave me that ‘please, I have a family’ look, and I took the hint."
Blondie was wheezing. "Dude, you scared a buffet owner?!"
"Hey," I shrugged, patting my belly, "this thing doesn’t run on air."
Linebacker guy was still in disbelief. "Okay, but how do you not just pass out after eating like that?"
I smirked. "Training, my guy. Just like you build endurance at the gym, I’ve built endurance at the dinner table."
Blondie shook his head, looking genuinely impressed. "Man, you ever do one of those food challenges? Like the ‘finish this 10-pound burger and get a T-shirt’ kind of deal?"
I chuckled. "Oh yeah. Got a couple free meals under my belt."
"Literally," Linebacker guy muttered, and the whole group cracked up.
The quiet guy finally just shook his head. "Man… I was out here chasing abs, thinking that was the ultimate goal. But you? You got a lifestyle."
I grinned, grabbing my gym bag. "Damn right. This is peak performance—just a different version of it."
As I headed toward the exit, I heard Blondie whisper to the others, "I swear, I need to see this dude at a buffet."
Linebacker guy replied, "Yeah, but do we want to? Or is it like watching a natural disaster happen in real time?"
We didn’t even make it out of the locker room before Blondie veered off toward the corner fridge.
"Okay," he said, cracking a grin, "real talk now. You think you could actually clear out half of these protein shakes?"
Linebacker guy laughed. "Half? Bro, he’s got the capacity of a small moon."
I raised an eyebrow. "Y'all trying to turn this into a challenge?"
Blondie opened the fridge door and motioned dramatically. "We are now. C'mon. Let’s see the beast in action."
I walked up, cracked open the first one, and downed it in one long pull.
"One!" Blondie shouted.
Two. Three. Four. No hesitation. No breaks.
I leaned back slightly and let out a deep, echoing BUUUURP that bounced off the locker room walls.
"Damn!" Blondie laughed. "That thing's got reverb!"
Linebacker guy’s jaw dropped. "He just drank four like it was water."
I grabbed the fifth and sixth, and knocked them back. My belly started to visibly push outward, a slow, tight swell as everything settled.
Blondie was cackling. "Oh my god. This is like watching a hot air balloon inflate in real time."
Seven. Eight. I finally slowed, letting out a low groan—and then followed it with a massive, involuntary BBBRRRRRRRAAAP that shook my gut like a subwoofer.
"Yo!" Linebacker guy backed up, laughing. "You could register that thing as a seismic event!" as I rubbed my gut, now stretched and rounding outward, visibly heavier and firmer.
The quiet guy stepped in and gave it a light tap. THUMP. "Dude… it’s like a damn barrel."
Blondie leaned in, eyes wide. "Bro, you sure you're not hiding twins in there?"
"Might be triplets," I grunted, grabbing shake number nine.
They all laughed, circling me now, taking turns pressing or patting the massive swell of my gut as it expanded.
"This thing's got its own climate zone," Linebacker guy muttered.
Ten. Eleven. My towel was barely hanging on. My belly dominated the space in front of me, tight and huge, solid as a drum.
"Alright, alright," Blondie said. "You hit thirteen, and I'm taking a picture with this masterpiece."
Twelve. My breath was heavier now, every sip a battle.
Finally, I cracked open number thirteen. The room went silent as I chugged.
Gulp. Gulp. Pause. Gulp.
When I slammed the empty bottle down, I tipped my head back and let out the biggest one yet—an impossibly loud, drawn-out BUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRP that echoed like thunder.
The whole locker room erupted.
"THIRTEEN! BAKER'S DOZEN!" Blondie yelled.
Linebacker guy gave my belly a solid thud. "Bro… that is peak bulk."
Blondie nodded seriously. "I’m deadass getting a photo. Flex next to him. Let’s go."
They tore off their shirts, lined up in front of the mirror, and flexed hard—shredded abs, pumped arms. Meanwhile, I stood front and center, hands on my enormous, distended belly.
The contrast was unreal.
"Yo," Blondie laughed, snapping pics, "this looks like Before, After, and Beyond."
"Legendary," Linebacker guy muttered. "Dude, if they don’t hang this in the gym, I'm printing it myself."
I took a deep breath, rubbing my gut, which was now so full it felt like it might hit critical mass.
"Alright, boys," I groaned. "Time to waddle home. But next time? We’re hitting twenty."
Blondie coughed, nearly choking. "Bro, don’t threaten me with that kinda greatness."
Linebacker guy shook his head in awe. "Protein King. Forever."
Before I could even grab my towel again, they were back at it—rubbing, poking, and patting the massive dome of my belly like it was some kind of post-victory ritual.
Blondie pressed his palm against the top curve. "Dude, it’s radiating heat. I swear it’s giving off thermal energy."
Linebacker guy leaned in, using both hands to feel around the sides. "You sure this isn’t full of sandbags? How is it this firm?"
The quiet guy just shook his head, gently thudding it with a knuckle. THUMP. "That’s not just full—that’s fortified."
Blondie laughed. "I feel like we should salute it or something. Give this thing a name."
"You mean besides 'Mount Protein'?" Linebacker guy offered.
We all laughed, my belly giving a heavy little sway as I reached down and gave it one last proud rub.
