That chase is incredible. Dabney a lot of fun in that role.

The discussion of The End got me thinking that Short Time (1990) would be an awesome film for you to discuss - a rare starring role for Dabney Coleman as a cop trying to get killed in the line of duty, but he keeps failing. It has one of the best car chases I’ve ever seen in a movie too.

You gotta do BLACK RAIN at some point. Feel like it doesn’t get the credit it deserves because it’s just Ridley doing a cop action film. But he goes at it 100% and makes it a pure hard boiled blast. Douglas is wonderful and both Garcia and especially Ken Takakura are great.

God those are the worst

Kanga is the lady! (Clint Howard was Roo in Blustery Day) Owl, on the other hand, was voiced by Otis from the Andy Griffith Show. Annnd John Fiedler was also at the end of the original True Grit, I think a banker or something.

Thanks for unlocking my memory of Winnie the Pooh and the blustery day, Ryan haha

I could go on and on about this and I'll spare you, but I can't tell you how thrilled I was to hear Ryan almost give one of his trademark wretches when the subject of public domain children's characters getting slasher movies forced upon them came up. That particular trend really makes me sick.

I found reach on rock on eBay for cheap. I don’t believe it’s on dvd.

Joe you have me dead to rights, I have collected films mentioned on the pod that I needed to get rid of because I’m moving soon. I even have a almost cult classics collection of movies covered on the pod and hats off

Joe don't be a hero! No one should be subjected to 4:3, don't suffer for us, we love you

This is the dawn of a new era

Awesome concept even though it's so simple. You should consider setting up a poll for Patrons to vote on the exclusive episodes of Joe's Shelf! That'll surely separate the Gene's from the Vincent's.
