Also speaking of Overboard I gave the "remake" a watch 1.) It's more of a sequel because they reference the first movie like it happened, and 2.) Is it bad I kinda enjoy Anna over Kurt, maybe it's because I grew up with a on again off again single mom, or it's because Kurt was a terrible father in that movie

Loved the episode on something I haven't thought about it forever haha. Barely related, but it reminded me of a couple of great movies I've been thinking about lately: Save the Tiger with Jack Lemmon and The Swimmer with Burt Lancaster. Just middle-aged stars at the end of their leading man days doing really thought-provoking, surreal indictments on the bullshittery of society while really doing a 180 and engaging in the culture of the youth. I just love the idea of one character moving from situation to situation like some sort of epic, but just being like "what the fuck is happening?"
