Regarding Joe’s insistence that all Christmas movies that might fit the theme of the show have been exhausted, I offer a few to consider, perhaps for next year: Black Christmas, which is a bonafide classic, had two remakes and the most recent one is pretty radical. Good for another Christmas triple play like last year. Ernest Saves Christmas is incredibly dumb and is way overshadowed by Scared Stupid as a cult classic. Would be a good excuse to talk about the rest of the series. Scrooged, which SEEMS like it should be a cult classic, but I don’t think it’s widely remembered. Rare Exports, a truly bizarre explanation for Santa Claus from Finland. Fatman, a “gritty reboot” of the Santa mythos with Mel Gibson in the lead role that treats Santa the same way The Dark Knight did Batman.

The Woman is such an awesome movie. My daughter and I were just watching Tales of Halloween and the lead actress is featured in one of the shorts.

I first saw May the year it was released on HBO at around 2am in my girlfriend's at the time first apartment while she and her two roommates were fast asleep. It's fucking insane how close that is to Ryan's discovery of it considering I was the one who helped prompt you guys to review it for this episode. What's more is Ryan seems to recognize the lead as someone he knows and Bettis is a dead ringer for that girlfriend I was visiting. And I must say, as an early 20-something in the era these films were made, I not only vividly remember the mall-goth scene of the time, but actually was a goth boy to such a degree that people often mistook me and that girl as a lesbian couple when we would partake in the night life of Ybor City. In fact, speaking of malls, I was a store manager for GameStop for 5 years and then for Spencer's Gifts for another 8 before I got my degree. I was right there front and center for the rise and fall of the mall-goth era, getting out just in time before the death of both. However, in my observation, the goth scene hasn't really died so much as been inherited mostly by the daughters of first generation Hispanic immigrants. This episode really brought on heavy nostalgia for my young adulthood and was a joy to relive. I could go on and on about this subject for at least three hours. Suddenly I have to urge to try and fit my fat ass into a fishnet top again.

Stuntrocks isn't a Demo Derby movie, but rather a happy accident, originally I wanted to do a Fall Guy collection all of the movies shown in the intro to season 1 of Fall Guy, this went to shit completely but during this whole shitshow I got The Hot Rocks (1972) and The Stuntman (1980) mixed up thus I accidently sent you that movie
