We found this movie to be pretty lackluster overall so we got off topic quite a bit during this discussion, but it was still a fun episode to record. We talk a bit about Ted Demme's other films (Blow, Who's The Man?, Beautiful Girls) as well as other, better Christmas comedies.

Fun listen. I watched The Ref the first (and only) time probably 7-10 years ago. I remember being surprised on how “meh” it was. Glad you brought up Judgment Night. For more Piven, how about PCU? Really like that one. Looking forward to the discussion on American Movie (a favorite), and I’ll have to check out Overnight. Happy Holidays.
