The cartoon show (The Real Ghosbusters) and the toys are a big reason the Ghostbusters franchise has such devoted fans as much as the two movies. The Winston backstory is that he was an Army medic which was supposed to be mentioned when Janine is reading out his resume. It didn’t really need to be there but would have been good to still include to show that he brought something to the table other than just being willing to do the job.

I think Afterlife's script would've really benefited from the same treatment as the first film, where Aykroyd's weirdness was grounded by the sensibility of Ramis. If someone in the room had said "this is too much reverence, let's dial it back and focus on the story"...

Fun fact about that Ghostbusters video game, made by the same people (Terminal Reality) who made Walking Dead Survival Instinct, a very well known bad game that I will defend, they also made Roadkill, which is a great forgotten PS2 era game, think GTA but in a Mad Max world
