Project 2025 Implodes (w/ Mary Harris)
🕑 Added 2024-08-05 16:01:30 +0000 UTCAn extra episode for you: Sam went on Slate's What Next podcast (hosted by Mary Harris) to discuss the rise and fall of the Heritage Foundation's Trump transition project — Project 2025. Is it dead? Why did Trump's campaign resent it so much? And how much influence would its architects have in a second Trump administration?
We'll back to your regular programming (the J.D. Vance episode!) later in the week.

Sidenote: the Right is finally taking cultural organizing seriously. I would love to see you do an episode on Teneo Network. Seeing Leonard Leo throw his weight around a network that centers Brené Brownian vulnerability, 'organizing at the speed of trust', and cultural organizing, is quite terrifying and needs to be exposed beyond the pages of last year's ProPublica expose

This is why I take such issue with the notion that the left needs to "organize like the Right". While they have great legal game and philanthropic tactics, they are such a mess in so many other regards. Their sloppiness, like their internal factions, needs to be exposed to a greater degree.

Has anyone been able to get access to the Discord? I have not; my messages to both Patreon and the boys have gone unanswered. :(

Man, first an “upcoming drop,” then an immediate drop! Instant gratification.
