Weekly Update!
🕑 Added 2023-10-09 04:01:23 +0000 UTCHey everyone. We're currently at 510 renders and a couple of animations (should be 15) for this update. I should have another ~300 renders ready before I post the update. I'm pretty happy with how things are going and at this rate, the update should be out by the end of this month.
If the renders do reach close to 1000, I'll postpone by a week or so just to hit that 1000 mark. I still need to render a free-roam scene and that should have 100+ by itself so there's a very good chance that we'll hit 1000. Currently still rendering animations and coding on the side since I can't use the program while rendering. As soon as those are done, I'll go back to rendering the remaining images.
I can't believe new people are coming in and supporting the VN even though the new update isn't out yet. Grateful to all of you and I hope you like the next update. Have a great week!

Also: good on you for putting the hand and wrist guards on archer Lyra in the lovely render. I toyed around with archery a while back, and having those protections in place is wise when you're shooting a bow seriously, and can prevent painful scrapes and pains.

One of the things I like so much about The Swordbearer is that CC takes the time, and makes the effort, to write *all* the characters as people, not just the usual "pr0n game stereotypes". As such, everybody playing has their favorite(s) (Samira!), but all of the major characters are engaging in their own ways. I even find Aren amusing, although I have to fight the urge to say to my screen, "Dude, relax. Stop trying so damn hard!" It will be interesting to see what becomes of Aren, and if/how he ever learns to get out of his own way! :-) Cheers!
