I think that's deceptive because they call their producer Mom and are more inexperienced. Some thought they were cubs because they thought the big brown dog was a fox with a collar. That can fuel false thoughts. :)

Okay I did not know fox is fully grown then they 1 and they just look so young

they are also no longer teenagers but young adults. I don't know where you get the idea that they are cubs. You didn't see them next to their parents in the comic. (foxes are fully grown when they are one year old.)

Is just they look like cubs and if you think they look like 1 year old then maybe they are 1 year old and thay mean they May not be cubs but not adult maybe they teen.

I wish they where cub but I think they are of legal ages just younger ages like an 18 year old irl would be the size of a 1year old dog. Meaning they are 1 year old dogs body's but 18 year humans in experience and maturity. Just a guess tho
