Excellent results. Great to be vindicated and all that research paying off. It still amuses me to think how, the original designer or engineer who conceived of the mechanism, would look at all these musings and speculations and think "Well of course it was done this way, how else would you do it?

Great news, and long awaited! The cogs of academia turn quite slowly! I reiterate my question to the researchers: What geartrain pieces, now presumably lost, must the mechanism have had in order to function appropriately (and accurately)?
