April release
🕑 Added 2022-04-02 17:27:35 +0000 UTCLast month, I've been focusing on some non-visible development to make Moulinette more reliable and more secure.
Online services are more and more targeted by nasty attacks like ransomware which can easily kill a service/business. It's never possible to be 100% secure but it was time for Moulinette to improve a few weaknesses.
- A second and remote backup of Moulinette Cloud packs is triggered monthly. This will let me restore the service (rather than having to pay a ransom). This includes packs uploaded by non-creators (private storage)
- Additional protection against deletion has been enabled on the cloud storage (Azure)
Moulinette supports more and more use cases for protecting creators' assets (delegates, gifts, patreon tiers, long-term supporters, etc.). Over 80 unit tests have been developed to check each of these use cases and make sure that they will not break when releasing new features.
New features / changes
A few changes have been done in the latest release
- Moulinette Randomizer is now available to all supporters (previously only for early-access). See above Youtube tutorial to see it in action.
- Scenes in Faceted search are not available to all supporters (previously only for early-access).
- If you want to avoid that Moulinette adds controls in FVTT menus (tokens, tiles, sounds), there is now a configuration to disable them.
- Support for ScenePacker has been improved. This will become available as more creators opt for that type of package.
New creators
Most of you a looking for more creators offering assets on Moulinette Cloud. I've been working with a few more creators who will soon be available on Moulinette Cloud. Stay tuned!
