September features for creators
🕑 Added 2021-09-25 15:38:16 +0000 UTCSeveral new features were developed and released in September.
Gifts management
Moulinette Cloud lets you share your assets to people you know (ex : friends or family) without having them to subscribe to your Patreon. This feature was beta-tested since August.
Assets management delegation
Moulinette Cloud lets you delegate the asset management to someone else (ex : content manager) without having to authenticate on patreon.com using your account.
Content promotion
By hosting your assets (tiles & maps) on Moulinette Cloud, you benefit from increased visibility among all Moulinette users. When a person is looking for an asset, Moulinette offers the possibility of browsing among all the correspondences available on Moulinette Cloud, to discover the creator and to easily subscribe in order to have access to the assets. These watermarked previews are automatically generated for you.
Export scenes for Moulinette Cloud
This feature is interested in combination with Moulinette Cloud when you don't already have FVTT modules. The latest releases of the FVTT modules (moulinette-core and moulinette-scenes) lets you easily export scenes, including all depending assets (background, tiles, sounds). You can use it to export prepared scenes and make them ready for Moulinette Cloud hosting.
- Prepare your scenes in FVTT
- Export your scenes
- Rename the generated folder (in moulinette/export)
- ZIP it and upload it on Moulinette Cloud
- That's it!
I'm preparing more documentation and tutorials on how to use Moulinette Cloud.
Moulinette Cloud v.2.1
In order to accommodate and attract a growing number of users and creators, the following improvements have been made to Moulinette cloud :
- Automatic post-processing : the process of pack publishing has been simplified. When you upload a pack, you don't have to start the post-process anymore. Moulinette Cloud will automatically start it.
- Infrastructure optimized : the infrastructure has changed on the background to be able to host an almost unlimited number of creators.
