I think one classic album that he'd love to hear is Capital Punishment by Big Pun. There's some tracks he NEEDS to hear: Super Lyrical, The Dream Shatterer, Twins. I also think he really needs to hear a Lupe Fiasco album, and I would most highly recommend Tetsuo & Youth (if TPAB didnt come out the same year, this would be my rap AOTY). If you want a shorter album, then his newest, Drill Music In Zion was made in a week with only Garageband and a $100 microphone, and is just 40 minutes of masterful wordplay and great production.

Death grips would be funny. If it ever does win Loket I would recommend doing a little research before to know what you’re getting into, I feel like you would enjoy it more
