🕑 Added 2018-05-18 21:44:38 +0000 UTC The spark for this game largely came about from me messing around with Daz3D once I figured out that I couldn't do most of the scenes I had in mind for Common Life without melting my current PC. Creating a character mostly from scratch wasn't something I wanted to do again after finishing up the large CL cast so I combined a few pre-made characters I liked and then did some edits. I liked the end result but it wasn't until I found the sweater dress she's wearing that I ended up wanting to make a game revolving around her. Not only does that dress look great but it also works really well -- usually clothes in Daz3D don't like curvy characters, leading to a ton of clipping problems, and it even let me have her wear underwear under it without much fuss (another rarity with Daz3D).Now having a character for the player (and me) to drool over I started going through my endless list of unused project ideas, eventually leading to the current one I'm using. The idea is that the MC's parents have to go over seas due to their job for a while and so he gets left with Katie.
The mechanics for it are:
- Affection: Risen by spending time with Katie and doing chores around the house. It can be lowered by failing tests and quizzes.
- Scholastics: The MC's current academic level. Goes up or down depending on his test scores. Pop quizzes will add a small element of randomness.
- Studied Material: Shows how ready the MC is for the upcoming test. Increase it by spending time studying. Resets to zero after each test.
- Arousal: While spending time with Katie will increase affection with her it'll also increase the PC's arousal level. At 50% he can take care of it himself. If you decide not to then studying becomes less effective and there'll be a penalty towards how his test taking ability too. At 100%, though, the PC will ask Katie to 'take care' of it, leading to early sexual scenes but also an affection loss, which was something I thought Cohabitation ended up lacking.
The MC's mother doesn't think too much of Katie as a responsible adult, and so to prove her wrong Katie tells the MC she'll give him something in return for improving his grades while he stays with her. His academic level will start at around 60 and after passing certain thresholds and having Katie's affection at certain levels he can request more and more lewd stuff. I have the rewards planned at 8 different ones, starting with groping and ending with sex. The game as currently planned out is fairly small and concise.
If people are interested I could probably upload the intro to it alongside the next Cohabitation release. It'd only be the intro, though - which would be about 5 ~ 10 minutes long depending on your reading speed. Yeah, I don't like long intros, which was mostly born from being constantly annoyed at how long a lot of hentai games' intros are, sometimes taking longer than an hour before getting into any actual gameplay.
Below are two images. One is just a generic pose I did to show off Katie. The other was meant to be a scene of the MC spying on Katie as she showers but I'll probably end up re-doing it; I don't know if it's the pose or the angle but her proportions look weird in it.

I just downloaded the game through this site. I'd played it four times on the GAMcore.com site and every time I got the 'you lose' screen just after the sex P.E sequence. Always went into it with Suspicion 0. Last attempt I had Affection 1250+, Lust 100. The day of the SexPE I started with Suspicion 0, and did Early Morning TV in Living Room action and the Kitchen trash removal action which should have meant -20 Suspicion. Still got burned. What am I doing wrong? Or is it some kind of glitch? Hope it goes better with the downloaded version.
