If I remember correctly didn’t 🐢 say he would release another chapter once he reached 6k subs? Looks like he is at 5,600ish ❤️

Mark Villalobos

Deliberately let 3 months of chapters build up just to binge in one day. Now back to waiting patiently like a crack addict. Sadness Everdeen 😫

Considering all that Agrona has done, I think that he wants something more then power. If he just wanted to conquer, killing your most powerful allies just so 1 person could be a little stronger is stupid. From everything that has happened, I think agrona wants to: 1. Achieve a power that can control the laws of the world so he can change events that happened or will happen 2. Pure revenge on the Asuras for trying to kill him back when he got close to this truth Kez is hiding, and that includes all Asuras, not just the ones in epheotus 3. He is looking for something within Dicathen or Epheotus that nobody else knows or perhaps just Kez knows that will affect his final goal. So far, there is no strategical reason for taking or holding Dicathen. Sure Art promised Kez knowledge but judging from Kez’s power here, he could have simply forced Art to tell him and not bothered with protecting Dicathen. I think that there’s something in Dicathen that Kez wants to hide and Agrona wants to take. There’s also not really a strategical reason for Agrona to attack dicathen; it increases his enemies and it weakens his forces for what we have seen as a simple occupation. There isn’t any resources in Dicathen that we know of that are superior to Alacrya, no technology or artifacts like the Relic Tombs that aren’t in Alacrya and no powerful individuals besides Art. Kez also doesn’t need Dicathen to attack Alacrya so it isn’t to weaken an Asuran staging point, there just isn’t a good reason. The entire story has focused around Dicathen being the central region where conflict will be fought, but when literal gods are involved, why bother involving regular humans besides there being something to gain? Overall, we haven’t really been given any truth to Agrona’s plans, it’s just all false statements made by Asuras, Scythes or Agrona himself. It was stated that they wanted to use Dicathen’s population to increase the army but that never happened during the occupation and it would take hundreds of years to even work properly so for all the hype Agrona has earned as a genius in strategy, it just can’t be true. This reason Kez gave is also just false, Agrona clearly doesn’t want to control the world or he would amass an army to take it, I personally think it’s either my first or third theory since Agrona also knows any conflict with Epheotus will spark the end of the world. We saw what a tiny fight between a few weak asuras and some wraiths looked like and it decimated an entire mountain, imagine armies fighting each other, there just isn’t a victor in a straight up fight.

That reminds me... "Human kind can not gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of equivalent exchange. In those days we really believed that to be the world's one and only truth." FMA

History has always been a social molding tool... I could have phrase this better. But, the distance in time, the state of mind of the principal stakeholders, the nature of what is preserved, and what is divulged... all of it: carefully crafted social scalpels. At the apex, goals, vision and purposes are merged into one blurred pathway. It is easy to argue about the nature of objective truth when we do not know where the apex begins and ends. Was Kezess afraid the evolution of the Djinns would mirror that of the Asuras? Or, did he uncover [an] inherent danger[s] associated with the evolution of eather based magic? Power hungry despots tend to not care for insights as much as Kezess... or, Odin. Or, is that the ultimate form of a despot? Arthur is as gifted as the lore would allow... his youth, as in time allowed into the magic of this world, is perhaps a hinderance he as not yet acknowledge. One that TM is probably trying to offset with Sylvie's changed nature... stray thoughts! Stray thoughts!
