I am wondering if all the djinn are actually all dead... maybe that is 'fact' we have been taking for granted and may be less true than first thought

- Right, it would be a pain without Arthur, so therefore it would only make sense to train maybe just the Lances/Caera/Virion/People of Import. And thank you, lol, Shadow Zone was literally just the first thing that rolled off the tongue ^_^. - I would say that the Alacryan mindset was NEVER more than to get rich/powerful off of finding accolades. But they never would have been able to use the relictombs for it's true purpose anyhow because that's not how the bastardized spellforms work. Their spellforms arent naturally learned, but given, so any insight they would gain would only affect them during bestowals and not in the zones. Now, if they had a working knowledge of aether, and even just a limited capacity, then yes, it would most likely work as intended. Also, his storage rune is different as it isn't a godrune but rather a true djinn spellform, which, much like how the Alacryan spellforms are bastardized djinn forms, the djinn spellforms are bastardized godrunes. - This is very true! - I mean, just setting them back to the stone age by destroying their civilization, not using a time aether ability. - It's true, we dont know the true amount of time, but we can conclude through various conversations that it was AT LEAST a few hundred years since Kezess gave magic back to humans. - I know, lol, I said he limited them to keep them FROM becoming another djinn race. If they couldnt achieve the higher echelons of core strength, then they would never learn of aether. - Thanks ^_^ - We don't know yet. However we do know that he landed in Dicathian because Agrona himself brought up Sylvia's meddling as the reason. Most likely she used her aether abilities to interfere in whatever ritual. Lol, thanks for taking the time to read that wall of text!

Response to first part: I like that name for this zone. Shadow zone. Enemies are shadows, you get teleported back when you die and death and shadows have a lot of common themes there, and Arthur learned to manifest a presence of himself outside of himself like a shadow. Not just Lances tho. A lot of people could gain from training in this shadow zone, but you need an aether user to move so it’s limited. Response to second part: One of the main differences between Arthur and the Alacryan ascenders in regards to their respective perspectives to the relictombs is that Arthur tried tried to get stronger where he could, taking any chance he could see to gain some advantage whereas the Alacryan ascenders never seemed to have that mind set. They were all just looking for accolades or relics, which totally misses the intended purpose of the relictombs. Maybe that’s why the alcryans never talked to the djinn remnants, because the djinn remnants gave tests and the relictombs decided that the Alcryans hadn’t learned anything. Im not entirely sold that Godrunes aren’t djinn spellforms, but your argument convinced me a little bit that there is a larger difference than I thought. One point that would help your argument is that the dimension rune that Arthur has was not blocked by the shadow zone. This is important because a djinn gave him that rune and it isn’t a godrune. Personally, unless the godrunes evolve with the users understanding of aether/fate, I don’t think these godrunes are Fate at all. Response to third part: It’s possible that not all djinn ancestors could use aether like how not all Dicathians can use mana. If this is the case, Kezess might have only massacred the active djinns. Response to 4th part: What do you mean by “reset humanity”? Are you talking like use aether abilities to reset them time-wise? Or just destroying their civilizations and sending them back to the Stone Age that way? If it’s the former, please lmk where you saw this info. Personae to 5th part: We don’t know how long the djinn lived before they were exterminated. It’s possible the asura discovered the djinn soon after the djinn gained aether abilities then Kezess found out about them and killed them all. Response to 6th part: I don’t think Kezess gave the Dicathians magical assistance to get another djinn race. He didn’t like djinns. Also, I think that the artifacts lessened Dicathians magically ability in the long run since they stopped relying on themselves to gain magic/mana power. Response to the 7th part: Mostly agree; no comments Response to the 8th part: How did Sylvia manage to “land” Arthur a continent away?
