One thing I can imagine being so badass in the novel is if somewhere along the line he’s thrown into a situation where he has to either give everything he has or lose it all. He had to before but he’s at a different level now. What would be if he were to have everything he knows and feels in a single moment be directed towards killing a specific individual?
