That would be cool as fuck but even with droids gunning it and helping with crew you'd still need hundreds of people to get it ready for combat. Otherwise it'd just be parked for a while.

Its a clone wars republic ship, so theres really only a limited number of options, at the small side , dreadnought heavy cruiser, then acclamator, Venator or victory I making the most sense, since hutts probally wouldnt bother with anything under 600 meters Edit- theoretically it could be an early imperator or tector class but its hugely unlikely

It said old republic ship from the war, which would mean clone wars, and i dont see an old republic era ship being useful without ruinous expensive refits

As much as I want Deacon to have a capital ship, I want it to be a new design and not one of the shitty existing ones from SW.mDontnget me wrong, the designs are cool looking, but they are just so impractical from an outside perspective. Bridges exposed, shaped so that weapons can only fire effectively in one direction etc.. though the CIS did a much better job in that regard I'll admit for the last one. So yeah, I don't think whatever they get will be capital grade, maybe an acclimator? Anyway, hope Deacon looks into using his 'earth' logic when it comes to ships and gives his people some ideas for something new. I think anyone from our universe inherently understands the importance of the CIC etc being the most armored and defended part of the ship after the power and missile storage. And we don't even HAVE spaceships yet. Then there is the whole, spacemis direction less, so the outer design of ship only having weapons that can fire in one direction, while half the armament is blocked by line of sight, is silly. A pill like design or even a straight up block is so much better to provide the most linemof sight for all weapons as possible at one time,more the very least the same amount that can fire at all time depending on rotation.

Subjugators are beyond unlikely only 4 or 5 were built with 3 never completed, providence would be good since thier almost cec level moddability, about the biggest cis ships you could expect would be the big cis Providence or recusant battlecruisers the 2km beasts or maybe a lucrehulk

I like all of the options. I know everyone wants a venator-class, and I do too lol. I would not be mad at a Providence class ship or at least a Subjugator. Those would fit the CIS theme.

I'm aware, I'm more thinking it'd stay base model since the party still needs a decent shipyard/refit station for capital ships. I will agree though, a providence would be cool

Technially the acclamator can be refit as a pocket carrier with 156 fighter capacity, all three are excellent options, the victory is the brawler, the venator is the carrier with a punch (like the us navy lexington carriers with the 8 inch guns) and the acclamator is jack of trades with moderate guns and decent carrier capacity -edit- istill wanna get a providence at some point tho 😆

Acclamator is fine too, great assault ship. I still have my preference though XD

No guarantee what the ships is but its likely an acclamator, Venator or Victory I, so a 1 in 3 chance at a guess, if it is a venator tho it might have a partial or even (if were lucky) a full complement of strikecraft

Man this makes me want the CIS Ship and the Republic ship, if the ships are capital then the cis ship would likely be a munificent, recusant or providence, the Republic ship would likely be a venator, victory 1 or acclamator, kek, id bribe the author with a donation if i could, get both cis and republic ship for the Vanguard And can the cis option pop up again if it doesnt win?
