He already has that though right? Unless the mask shores up deficiencies with his other item that is supposed to protect him from mind controlling/effecting stuff.

The mask needs to protect from Master effects. A mage that has no control of their mind is not a mage anymore.

I would say the protection against mind altering should be on a ring or necklace, so he can wear it as a civilian

I feel like option 1 and 3 should be merged in this poll. Seeing in the dark and not being blinded are a little to useful not to be put on a mask.

The first option, a lot of villains, have mind control powers that rely on pheromones so this would help negate that
