As for the concept/idea... How do you guys feel about Taylor having an alt-power? It's one of my favorite story types, and if I'm honest, I'm not really looking forward to writing about her actual powers. I'm confident I can, just not looking forward to it.

Depends on the power i guess ^^ How are we in the timeline? Did she already trigger? Because if yes then i dont see how she gets different powers because that need some outside influence before it happens. Trigger theory and all ^^

I mean, hasn't she already triggered? There's not really much reason for her to have different powers while everything else stays the same unless something caused it. Up until this point almost everything blatantly different was the result of the changes he made so suddenly having au elements pop up all of a sudden seems out of place.

I'm good with it. Bug powers always sounded weird to me anyway and she started off weak as fuck.

Thing about diff taylor powers really messes with her personality. Starts to change her growth patterns and so forth. If you kept it Queen Administrator but chose a different medium maybe? Birds?

The mc could craft her an item meant to enhance her power if not improve it. If not bugs then something meant to biotinker large bugs like humans to do her biding or something else entirely

If you can justify it with a ritual or iem or whatever,no problem. If its without anything the mc does,please mark the story as au. Not a problem,but its just polite.

We saw her offloading stress but not how. Just that her emotions seemed to unnaturally come and go. I was curious why Alya never mentioned seeing oddly behaving bugs in the vicinity but I guess Robert was holding off just incase he wanted to try an alt-power.

Hell yeah, go crazy mate! There's a ton of fanfics with her using her bugs, an alt-power would be welcome. If you have a nice idea floating around i'd be very interested in seeing your creativity in it's element. Much better in my opinion than you writing something you find tedious or boring. Her original powers are super useful but i'm not so hung up about them to miss them too much. Edit: Im also curious to see how Golden Boy will be handled if the fallback option of lobotomizing Taylor is out xD

It depends on the power, if it’s Queen Administrator adjacent then definitely, even if it isn’t as long as it’s interesting and has the same potential to kill Scion then definitely, Scion is a big problem and taking away a big part of the canon solution could go badly
