How are you doing?
I'm still working on the new game and I wanted to tell you how it's going.
I have a scene almost ready, it is the same girl in the image in the previous post, it is playable, although it is missing many aesthetic elements. I'm using that scene on a trial and error basis.
The time and places system is almost finished, but it is not accessible at this time.
In order to simplify the gameplay, I decided to limit the time system to morning, noon, afternoon, and evening. This way, planning the day's activities is easier.
I also made the UI a little smaller, so that the play area is not saturated. Time counter will be polished, of course.
This UI can be hidden to make the game a little more challenging.
Backgrounds are not implemented yet because I hired an artist to do them but I have not had a response yet, so I used an image from the internet.
Please have a bit of patience, I am making an alternative version with a different view, this is something planned as I mentioned in the previous post, so as soon as I finish it and have it functional I will upload it in secret "preview".
> Keep or change, that is the question...
Since the game is in an early stage of development, I want to know your opinion about something I was talking about with some friends a few days ago.
While some friends I showed how the game was turning out liked the new system with the map and locations, others said they liked the original PervSight system better, with simpler gameplay.
That's why in the next post there will be a poll so that you, my dear patrons, can decide if you want the new system or the previous one.
- Things to keep in mind:
The new system is perhaps more complex and may take longer to release updates.
The previous system (used in PervSight) is much simpler since it is a scene along with its respective gallery.
Costume updates and the in-game purchasing system are not affected as none of this depends on the game system being used.
So please vote in the poll to let me know your preferences, and please note that your subscription level determines your voting power.
As always, thanks for your support!
See you in a next post!
