Hello there!
I have been trying for several days to take a little time to continue the game "DeepSleepin Girl", and I have encountered a series of difficulties that make me doubt that the game will be as I expect.
Mainly because the engine I am using, Construct, is quite limited when it comes to making complex animations, and it is inevitable to find errors and bugs, or things that do not work properly.
Another thing Construct doesn't allow me to do is detect which direction or at what speed the mouse cursor moves. And this limitation is decisive, because it makes the game mechanics rough and not very immersive.
So I am looking for a way to make the game as close to what I planned, but in turn, due to the limited engine, I must sacrifice some things that I planned to add from the beginning.
Also, in addition to programming, I do the artistic part, and it is very frustrating to spend so much time drawing and coloring, to later discard all that work because it does not work as one had planned.
But don't worry, the game is still in development, perhaps there will be more scenes, with less things to do, but I will try to emphasize variety, reaching objectives, collecting objects, etc.
See you in next post!
